Dick Morris appeared on Fox and Friends this morning and was eerily prescient. The crew was discussing Fast and Furious and the possible Eric Holder Contempt of Congress vote that looms. Someone asked Morris what he thought was going on and Morris said that it seemed that Obama was going to allow Holder to take the hits on his own over F&F. Otherwise Obama would drop a cloak of Executive Privilege over the documents, but that would in turn make it appear as though Barack Obama was directly involved in the mess.
New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who recently banned larger than 16 oz. sodas in New York City: “if government’s purpose isn’t to improve the health and longevity of its citizens, I don’t know what its purpose is.” Classify this under, “I earned my nickname, Nanny Bloomberg.”
President Obama, Friday, early afternoon, when asked if he was blaming Europe for the failure of his own economic policies: “The truth of the matter is, as I’ve said, we’ve created 4.3 million jobs the last 27 months…The private sector is doing fine.”
The. Most. Corrupt. Attorney. General. In. History.
Eric Holder’s contempt for America and its citizens is nothing less than astonishing. He has done one stupid thing after another but this time Eric Holder has peed on the leg of the United States and claimed it was raining:
He was injured- just as he said he was.
A medical report compiled by the family physician of accused Trayvon Martin murderer George Zimmerman and obtained exclusively by ABC News found that Zimmerman was diagnosed with a “closed fracture” of his nose, a pair of black eyes, two lacerations to the back of his head and a minor back injury the day after he fatally shot Martin during an alleged altercation.
The Obamacare individual mandate demands that everyone have insurance coverage and penalizes those who do not carry insurance.
The fine for not purchasing health insurance under PPACA is $95 per person in 2014 (or 1% of taxable income, whichever is greater), $325 in 2015 (or 2%), and $695 in 2016 (or 2.5%). Thereafter, the mandate is indexed to inflation.
But hold on, there are exemptions:
President Barack Obama: “So do not tell me that we’re not drilling. We’re drilling all over this country. There are a few spots we’re not drilling. We’re not drilling in the national mall. We’re not drilling at your house.”
President Obama, for about the 100th time: “We can’t go back to the policies that led to the recession.”
Nancy Pelosi: ” President Obama was a job creator by, on day one..”
Or, why Eric Holder will remain in office until 2013 at least.
A pair of articles from the Washington Times make clear that the White House has a plan for the 2012 election, and that is to guarantee victory for Obama regardless of the outcome of the vote. A large part of it depends on Eric Holder and his continual bastardization of the law.
In his latest signing statement Obama said:
“My administration will not authorize the indefinite military detention without trial of American citizens,” Obama said in the signing statement. “Indeed, I believe that doing so would break with our most important traditions and values as a nation.”
