“Let them eat CAKE!”
Such is the image I get when watching Queen Nancy strolling down the avenue with the huge hammer in hand, laughing all the way to her elitist offices on-the-hill. “Look at all those little people protesting! Let then eat cake!”
Marie Antoinette was reputed to said the above phrase, though slightly different, of course and the ‘cake’ was not exactly the dessert variety you and I have come to be accustomed to. What the Queen is espousing is that ‘cake’ for her and her hooligans, whom are exempt from the so-called ‘laws’ they foist upon the masses, is the ‘dessert variety’, and the ‘cake’ for you and I are the ‘pot scrapings’: At the time that whoever-she-was uttered the infamous quotation “let them eat cake,” the word “cake” did not refer to the familiar dessert item that the modern-day French call le gateau. The operative term was brioche, a flour-and-water paste that was “caked” onto the interiors of the ovens and baking pans of the professional boulangers of the era. (The modern equivalent is the oil-and-flour mixture applied to non-Teflon cake pans.) At the end of the day, the baker would scrape the leavings from his pans and ovens and set them outside the door for the benefit of beggars and scavengers. Thus, the lady in question was simply giving practical, if somewhat flippant, advice to her poor subjects: If one cannot afford the bourgeois bread, he can avail himself of the poor man’s “cake.”
Well, Queen Marie likely threw women under the bus, and this will become clear in time…..what was this ‘hard fought’ victory anyway? Hard fought in her own party, the carrots and sticks were always there but the Dems had to tighten the noose on those ‘mavericks’ before dropping the carrot.
Maybe I am a little befuddled, but I cannot grasp where the ‘hard fought victory’ occurs when one has to buy off the votes of their own party. Pelosi said it truly when she stated that “We need to pass this bill so you can see what’s in it.” A more elitist and bourgeois statement was never made regards a bill the so-called ‘peoples’ representatives had on the dock. Their presumption is breathtaking. Tell me, do you send your ‘representative’ to Washington to step over into ‘Alice in Wonderland’? The fact of the matter is that congress now represents a minority of the American people and that is easy to do when you are going to lost your next election anyway.
With the liberal MSM in cahoots with Obomination and Congress one could not expect to hear any dissent until the ship begins to sink, which by then, will obviously be too late.

you have to humble yourself, because you are so ignorant,
and you have so much to learn how to exchange civility with others that should be your first attempt to learn, then you can switch to the next basic important knowledge to acquire.

I guess I will post a few comments, since up to this point, others have been carrying my water, though I do appreciate that….
Hill is a classic liberal, and his modus operandi exhibits the classic absence of reality inherent in liberal thought. He has already been taken to task by the guys so there is no need for me top re-hatch the issues. As to his come-uppance on others writing ability, this is simply a odorous red-herring thrown out for the purpose of highlighting his arrogant pretensions while downplaying the context of his shallow arguments.
Hill demonstrates he is totally clueless by pushing the same old tired and discredited liberal lines. Lines that exhibit the adherence to a fantasy utopia having no association with the real world. let’s look at the the deficit for instance and just what affect it has on the real world: At 14 trillion, we have an unsustainable and unpayable debt. Congress crows about a mega-deal that will ‘save’ three trillion in the next 10 years. Duh? Let’s see, we are at 14 trillion, running a constant deficit of one trillion per year, and simple arithmetic tells us that in 10 years, we will be at 24 trillion. Even if the ‘savings’ of 3 trillion actually comes about (which it has failed to do EVERY time in the past these ‘mega-deals’ were ‘hammered’ out) we will still have a deficit of 21 trillion dollars, that is, if something catastrophic does not befall the dollar before that time. This is completely mind-boggling, and I will tell you that Hill has absolutely no concept of what a trillion is, it is simply an abstract to him and other liberals.
In the meantime, the Fed, a private conglomerate of banking institutions, can print as much money as it wants. There is no limit to how much it can print. Everyone knows that, but few believe the Fed will print unlimited amounts of money.
Don’t kid yourself. There is no legal or political body the Fed has to answer to. So it can and will print fiat money ad infinitum.
It is simply mind blowing that a private conglomerate that does not answer directly to the US Government can print as massive an amount of dollars as it desires, and there is a direct result of this called inflation. Today’s dollars are worth less than yesterdays, but with such massive deficits, the fed continues as money grows on trees, which in essence, for them, it does.
The only reason it is ‘legal’ for the United States to print dollars in an unending flow is that the dollar is the worlds reserve currency, however, with China, Japan, Russia, Europe, etc, calling for a new reserve currency due to the massive US deficit, the Fed is literally daring them to proceed and put their money where their mouths are. Why? Because the Fed, private and international banks, has no real stake in such, per se. If the reserve status were changed tomorrow, the banks would simply cease their business in dollars, write off a token loss, and come out with even more wealth and power dealing whatever the new reserve currency is chosen to be but the US consumer is stuck with paying for the equivalent of a Japanese steak dinner, in a nice Japanese restaurant, in Japan, every time they hit the breakfast menu at the Waffle House.
Will this happen. Stupid question, it’s not a matter of if but when. I don’ care who’s responsible, it does not matter, the fact is that it is coming, but liberals like Hill scream for more even government handouts, because it’s just a matter of printing more money or raising taxes, or both, to cover it. Unfortunately for them, the free lunch is coming to an end. In practically every state in the union, we are seeing flash mobs, general lawlessness, and the like. London is burning, this time, not from the Luftwaffe, but from third and fourth generation parasites on the government dole who have never worked a day in their life.
And Hill says its all the fault of the conservatives…..cause you can’t take away what people have depended upon for so long…..yeah, keep giving it to ’em right up to the morning it all collapses around their ears…
