Flopping Aces has extensively documented the pain Barack Obama has chosen to inflict on this country because his highness is displeased that his servants in the GOP refuse to kneel.

It seems that Obama still has the pedal to the metal screaming down Agony Avenue in the Hurt Limo.

Priests in the military apparently have been banned from serving mass. I they do try to perform a mass, they will be subject to arrest.

Warnings have been issued about the potential abuse of personal information by Obamacare navigators.

Private information you post while signing up for Obamacare may be used against you in a court of law.

Obama has converted the Park Police into his own Gestapo:

Vaillancourt was one of thousands of people who found themselves in a national park as the federal government shutdown went into effect on Oct. 1. For many hours her tour group, which included senior citizen visitors from Japan, Australia, Canada and the United States, were locked in a Yellowstone National Park hotel under armed guard. The tourists were treated harshly by armed park employees, she said, so much so that some of the foreign tourists with limited English skills thought they were under arrest. When finally allowed to leave, the bus was not allowed to halt at all along the 2.5-hour trip out of the park, not even to stop at private bathrooms that were open along the route. “We’ve become a country of fear, guns and control,” said Vaillancourt, who grew up in Lawrence. “It was like they brought out the armed forces. Nobody was saying, ‘we’re sorry,’ it was all like — ” as she clenched her fist and banged it against her forearm.

Obama is spending far more money keeping people out of Parks than he ever would leaving them as they were.

Obama has put an end to therapy dogs visiting sick children:

Volunteers run the dog therapy program, but the veterinarians are on NIH staff and are paid as federal employees. In an Oct. 3 interview on National Public Radio’s Morning Edition, Abbey Whetzel talked about her son, Sam, who is dying of leukemia and enjoyed it when he was visited by the dogs. “They can only come once a week, but it’s the highlight of Sam’s week,” Whetzel said, adding that she was informed that the dogs would not be visiting because of the government shutdown. “He was disappointed,” Whetzel said. “He really looks forward to the dogs coming.

Cancer treatments have been defunded but NPR got a half a billion dollars:

LOS ANGELES – Funding for clinical cancer trials and other life-saving research under the National Institutes of Health was cut off in response to the government slimdown, but it looks like the cookie monster will still be knee-deep in chocolate chips (or is it carrots now?)

According to the Daily Treasury Statement and first reported by CNS News, the administration dished out $445 million to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) on the first day of the slimdown, which means funds for the likes of PBS Newshour, NPR and “Sesame Street” are being spent before cancer research.

“It’s more than irresponsible, it is reprehensible. It’s an ‘in-your-face’ move by the administration, blatantly picking winners and losers in this shutdown,” C. Edmund Wright, a columnist for Breitbart.com and American Thinker, told FOX411. “Public broadcasting is a staple of liberal propaganda.”

And as Media Research Center’s Director of Media Analysis, Tim Graham, pointed out, PBS has hosted two “very friendly” interviews with President Obama in recent weeks.

The CPB argued that it was indispensable, as opposed to cancer treatment:

But the CPB defended their big payday, telling FOX411 in a statement that their funding was “indispensable”and provide jobs for thousands of people.

It was noted that PBS has held two obsequious interviews with Obama over the last two weeks.

These are all Obama choices. They are meant to exert the maximal amount of pain on Americans- the Americans Obama took an oath to protect. This is not just bad judgment- it is evil.

When does the left stop swallowing the Koolaid?

Obamacare was premised on a set of lies- that you could keep your plan, keep your doctor and it was going to cost you less in premiums.

None of that is true.

It was supposed to reduce health care spending.

That’s not true either.

Obamacare was passed via legislative chicanery and legerdemain. We had to pass to find out what’s in it.

Obama unilaterally rewrites existing law from the Oval Office as he pleases, in violation of the Constitution:

Explaining his decision to unilaterally rewrite the Affordable Care Act, he said: “I didn’t simply choose to” ignore the statutory requirement for beginning in 2014 the employer mandate to provide employees with healthcare. No, “this was in consultation with businesses.”

He continued: “In a normal political environment, it would have been easier for me to simply call up the speaker and say, you know what, this is a tweak that doesn’t go to the essence of the law . . . it looks like there may be some better ways to do this, let’s make a technical change to the law. That would be the normal thing that I would prefer to do. But we’re not in a normal atmosphere around here when it comes to Obamacare. We did have the executive authority to do so, and we did so.”

Serving as props in the scripted charade of White House news conferences, journalists did not ask the pertinent question: “Where does the Constitution confer upon presidents the ‘executive authority’ to ignore the separation of powers by revising laws?” The question could have elicited an Obama rarity: Brevity. Because there is no such authority.

This is a bad law, as most that are hyper-partisan and rammed down the throat of America under dubious circumstances.

Please don’t argue that it’s wrong to try to change or defund established law. Dred Scott and Jim Crow laws were laws of the land. They were also bad law. I support any effort to modify or repeal this law, even to the point of default, and if for no other reason than to forever stain the Presidency of this vile, narcissistic and obstreperous man. The GOP is doing exactly the right thing, and one day this will be self-evident. Obamacare is nothing short of a disaster that is unfolding before our eyes.

Isn’t the job of the President to ensure the safety and welfare of America, as opposed to causing it the greatest amount of pain possible? Isn’t that a violation of the Oath of Office? Does it not violate the responsibility of the position?

So the question for you liberals is, when is enough enough?

UDPATE

The walls may be closing in. Obama is down to 37% approval. I don’t really care that people blame the GOP for the shutdown. These are the same stupid people who believed the lies in the first place and they aren’t going to re-elect Republicans in their own districts.

And in a very odd twist, Obama has summoned conservative journalists to the White House.

Likely to torture them on an off-shore black prison, er, I mean ship.

@Richard Wheeler:

I say again. I appreciate the civil, informed discussion between you and Aqua.

I’ll be crushed by some for this, but I enjoy debating Tom. He has good points, and I think I’m chipping away some of the liberal edges. I’d have a beer with him if I were in his neck of the woods.

@retire05: You know full well my politics has nothing to do with my support of veterans or my combat service in V.N. Many Vets are Dems. Indies or sane Repubs. Fortunately, there are few foul mouthed radicals like you.
Aqua Well said IMO those that would crush you are worth very little.
Noles and Irish have huge games this Sat. Love your Q.B.

@Richard Wheeler:

B/S. Your politics trumps loyalty to veterans. Those veterans have the right to visit the memorials that were build in their honor. Not be shut out like a bunch of raping, murdering OWSers. They paid the price for them.

Do you think it was necessary for the police to show up in full riot gear against a bunch of 65+ year old veterans? What did the DCPD think those veterans were going to do? Tear down the memorials built in their honor? The pushing and shoving that was done by the DCPD, I guess you think that was necessary? Oh, wait, the left media is not reporting that so in your feeble mind, it doesn’t exist.

So what if you think I am foul mouthed (because I used the word “crap”, I’m sure)? I find your whole personality foul, and a disgrace to the uniform you once wore.

Oh, and we are still waiting on that list of names of people you claimed had their lives ruined by Joe McCarthy.

You’re a disgrace, Richard.

This was written today by someone who dedicated his life to the service of our nation, during many years on many soils:

We can assume that if an act of violence occurs, or, worse, somebody unfurls a rebel battle flag or a “racist” banner, then the media coverage will prove massive. Imagine a demonstration in DC by veterans during a Republican administration; we would have endless stories comparing it to the 1932 Bonus March.

Those veterans who did not support their brothers in arms against the tyranny of shutting down the memorials that were built in the honor of those who paid for the memorials in blood, are no longer worthy of bragging about their military service.

And the media? They yawned over the Million Vet March until someone found a Confederate flag to be able to say “Lookie, lookie. These are nothing but racist radicals dishonoring the President because he is [half] black.” and the idiots who listen to the media buy into that hook, line and sinker.

From this day forward, my American flag will fly upside down in true military tradition.

@retire05: I answered RT’S request. He hasn’t answered mine.Your support of McCarthy and McCarthyism comes as no surprise. His radicalism also set back true Conservatism. He was properly reprimanded by Repubs. and Dems. alike.
Did I ever say the Vets didn’t have a right to visit the monuments? Of course not. They visited and by all reports enjoyed themseles.

@Richard Wheeler:

Your support of McCarthy and McCarthyism comes as no surprise. His radicalism also set back true Conservatism.

Oddly enough, Richard, Joe McCarthy, with the release of the Venona Papers, was proven more right than how the Democrats screamed he was wrong. From the infiltration of the FDR/Truman administrations, to the multiple Communists operating in full view at Columbia University, to the trials that proved to be a confirmation of McCarthy’s claims. How ironic that Julius Rosenberg’s code name was Liberal.

But McCarthy is not the first piece of history changed by the Democrats. From the claim to be the party of freedom from slavery for blacks, to the myth of Camelot under Kennedy, a meth head, Democrats have invested more effort in changing history that making sure this nation kept its Constitutional course.

Did I ever say the Vets didn’t have a right to visit the monuments? Of course not. They visited and by all reports enjoyed themseles.

No, but you also did not chastise this Administration for not only shutting down those memorials, while allowing illegal aliens to hold a rally there, and denying the families of the fallen what they are due. It’s not what you say, its what you don’t say that makes you a disgrace to your former uniform.

@retire05: What I don’t say?? You do say ” Kennedy a meth head.”–proof ” McCarthy more right than what Dems said”. He falsely accused Annie Lee Moss.
It’s stuff you DO say that hurts the cause you profess to serve.

retire05
as usual you hit right on the button,
thank you for saying it so well and so accuate.
I see THE GREAT PATRIOT S and SARAH PALIN among the other, THE MIKE LEE, THE TED CRUZ,
WITH THE WARRIORS WHO PROTECT THIS NATION FROM THE SO MANY ENVIOUS HATERS who dare to have the intent to change AMERICA FOREVER INTO A NATION OF MISERY,
WHAT A SIGHT TO SEE THEM ALL TOGETHER TELLING OF their anger for what OBAMA IS RESPONSIBLE OF DOING ALL THE TIME,

Richard Wheeler
talk for yourself,
I AND THE OTHER LIKE TO READ RETIRE05 , BECAUSE HE HAS SOMETHING TO SAY, AND IS DOING IT VERY INTELLIGENTLY, HE KNOW A LOT MORE THAN YOU,

@retire05, #237:

Greggie, you seem to be as big a moron as Jim Acosta. He portrays the protest as a “Tea Party” protest, although it was never connected to the Tea Party and was always bills as a veteran’s protest. But that was not bad enough; Acosta misrepresented the flag being flown calling it a “confederate” flag. Nothing like promoting racism on Acosta’s part.

Acosta wasn’t misrepresenting a damn thing, and you know it perfectly well. Both the Gadsden flag and the battle flag of the Confederacy were prominently displayed near the White House fence, and both appeared in the video.

The irony of displaying the two together is probably lost on you. The rattlesnake on the Gadsden flag represented national unity, among other things, referring back to the popular Join or Die image that appeared in a paper published by Benjamin Franklin. The battle flag of the Confederacy was carried by those who had broken the union. It’s probably more appropriate for Tea Party protesters than the Gadsden flag.

@retire05:

Those veterans who did not support their brothers in arms against the tyranny of shutting down the memorials that were built in the honor of those who paid for the memorials in blood, are no longer worthy of bragging about their military service.

The closing of federal sites is a direct consequence of the government shutdown. These people are protesting the result of a political strategy that they themselves have supported.

Do you have a history of military service? If not, you haven’t earned the right to criticize veterans who don’t happen share your goofy opinions.

@Richard Wheeler:

You do say ” Kennedy a meth head.”–proof ”

From a left-leaning publication:

http://nypost.com/2013/04/21/the-kennedy-meth/

JFK spent most of his presidency stoned. When he wasn’t chasing hookers.

McCarthy more right than what Dems said”. He falsely accused Annie Lee Moss.

And how many people was he right about?

@retire05:

The battle flag of the Confederacy was carried by those who had broken the union.

Actually, it was carried by those who believe in the Declaration of Independence.

Do you have a history of military service? If not, you haven’t earned the right to criticize veterans who don’t happen share your goofy opinions.

Are you native American? Or a female? Or black American? Because if you are none of those things, you have no right to speak for them as you seem to want to do.

@retire05, #263:

The comment had nothing whatsoever to do with Native Americans, women, or blacks. It had to do with your asinine pronouncement concerning the unworthiness of veterans to take pride in their service, if they don’t happen to agree with the moronic opinions of a non-veteran, such as yourself.

@Greg: 231

BTW, here’s your link to the protesters with the confederate flags.

Greg, you said ‘an angry white mob waving confederate flags’ you have not provided a link to a ‘mob’ or an ‘angry white mob’ nor anyone ‘waving a confederate flag’. It wouldn’t have disturbed the Obama’s anyhow, it was during Church and they were all in church, right?

@Tom: 232

when peoples’ ideological investment puts them in the position of defending deplorable behavior.

Tom you certainly would know all about that, wouldn’t you?

@Tom:

The “lone nut” excuse doesn’t hold much water with me.

So Tom, we’re to interpret that as “all those nuts in Dealey Plaza were responsible for the murder of JFK”? Is that how you got it figured?

@Tom:

#239

video of people standing with this man as he waves the flag.

you can’t show us even one of him ‘waving’ the flag. He is ‘holding’ the flag, but there is no ‘waving’

@Richard Wheeler:247

I appreciate the civil, informed discussion between you and Aqua.

Chuckle.

@Richard Wheeler: 255

: I answered RT’S request. He hasn’t answered mine.

An outright lie. You have not provided one name of a person falsely accused by Joe McCarthy, not even one name. I told you I would answer your request after you answered mine. I’m waiting.

@Richard Wheeler:same post 255, another outright lie:

He was properly reprimanded by Repubs. and Dems. alike.

He was not reprimanded, he was censured and it had NOTHING to do with him accusing anyone of being a communist.

@Richard Wheeler:257 For goodness sake RW, get something right once in a while. First it is ‘well known’ that Kennedy was on meth, it was even documented that he took an extra dosage just before the debate with Nixon, his 4th of the day. How can you not know that?

Kennedy a meth head.”–proof ” McCarthy more right than what Dems said”. He falsely accused Annie Lee Moss.

I’ve provided you the proof already that McCarthy was 100% correct, and have linked you to proof that Annie Lee Moss was a communist. Just because you choose to believe all libs are Gods, doesn’t make it so.

@Redteam:

Hey, wasn’t Charlie Rangel censured? Do you think RW has as low an opinion of Charlie Rangel as he does Joe McCarthy? I mean, after all, if he is going to base his opinion on censuring, then he should be raising hell about Charlie Rangel and all the damage that moron caused.

@Greg:

If not, you haven’t earned the right to criticize veterans who don’t happen share your goofy opinions.

Are you really that damned stupid Greg? I’m a veteran, but even if I were not, the veterans of our nation have provided all Americans with the right to say whatever they please. And you are certainly taking advantage of that right to publicly display your stupidity every day. Who would want to shut you up, you are the best example of how ignorant stupid people have the right to exercise the freedoms that veterans have provided for you. Keep opening your pie hole, your ignorance is enlightening…..

@Greg:264

The comment had nothing whatsoever to do with Native Americans, women, or blacks. It had to do with your asinine pronouncement concerning the unworthiness of veterans to take pride in their service, if they don’t happen to agree with the moronic opinions of a non-veteran, such as yourself.

Thanks for another display of your brilliance. The comment certainly did have something to do with Native Americans, women and blacks. You said if 05 was not a vet she didn’t have the right to talk about vets. She was showing you that if you aren’t a Native American, black or woman, then you don’t have the right to speak for them. I know that is all waaayyyy over your head, but, I tried.

@retire05: Well, actually Rangel was censured and it was for ‘ethics violations’ and it was done when the Dimocrats were in charge of the Ethics committee. But I’m relatively sure it only elevated the level of his sainthood with RW and gang.

For those that want to knock the Confederate flag, let’s get a fact or two straight. A president issued an illegal order, for Northern states to attack southern states for an issue that was completely constitutional, the right to own slaves. The Southern states did not feel as if the northern states had the right to use military action against a fellow state for an entirely lawful event. The southern states stood for their rights and the war started. So you have the US fighting an illegal war against the Southern states. Why would the southern states not feel as if they should defend their rights?

@Redteam: You provided about as much EVIDENCE as Mac did at her hearing. NONE
Like Mac, you are an ideologue unconcerned about proof or due process. Just throw it up and see what sticks.
I’d put Mac, Rangel and you in the same boat.

I just noticed you have 11 of the last 12 comments in less than an hour. Forget JFK. You got Tourette Syndrome?

@Redteam: Well Kennedy did make Nixon look foolish in that debate and it catapulted him to the Presidency, “On 4th shot of meth.that day” You’re nuts.
I notice the tag team of 05 and RT have once again donned their wrestling tights—not a pretty image.

@Richard Wheeler:

“On 4th shot of meth.that day” You’re nuts.

his regular dosage was 3 daily, he took extra one that day. I supplied my proof that Annie was a communist, provide your’s that she was not. Just because you are bound to speak no evil of a dimocrat doesn’t mean it’s not so.

@Richard Wheeler:

I’d put Mac, Rangel and you in the same boat.

you do know that in the Navy, a boat is a submarine.

@Richard Wheeler:

I notice the tag team of 05 and RT have once again donned their wrestling tights—not a pretty image.

Enough to make the trifecta of Tom, Greg and RW envious.

@Redteam: You provided NO proof she was a Communist.The hearing also provided no proof. Sub for the three of you. Sounds good.
That trifecta against Tiresome old 5 and an old swabbie—Mismatch
Semper Fi

@Richard Wheeler:

: You provided NO proof she was a Communist.

I’m not sure if you can’t actually read, or you just can’t understand what you read. The result is the same, total ignorance. You can not provide any evidence to refute the infinite amount of proof on the internet that she was a communist. You can pretend to not be ignorant, but it doesn’t take.

@Tom: #239

Personally, I would leave any protest in disgust if I saw something like that being tolerated by my fellow protestors.

In a Tea Party rally, this individual would have been asked not to show the Confederate flag. Please keep in mind that this is basically an unorganized rally. There was very little time to organize it and to ask the ralliers how to act. A group of vets got tired of the government shoving them around, and decided to fight back in a peaceful way. Just like the trucker’s rally, there will always be the radicals who figure the louder they are, and the more cuss words they use, the more attention they will bring to the cause.

Unfortunately, this is true, but the propaganda media will focus on the ONE individual who they want to show how radical ANY conservative movement is. Remember the ONE man who had an AR-15 slung on his shoulder at one rally, and the picture the propaganda media showed was cropped so that you couldn’t see that it was a black man?

If any conservative is involved with any rally, please speak up if you see anyone who has inappropriate signs, or is saying inappropriate things. Ask them not to. There is one video of several Tea Partiers at one rally talking another man into trading signs with one man who had several signs, because the other Tea Partiers thought the one man’s sign wasn’t appropriate.

I challenge ANY liberal to show ANY pictures or videos of ANY Tea Party rally where ANY cuss words were used, ANY threats were made, ANY racist or other inappropriate comments were made, or where there was ANY trash left behind.

I also challenge ANY liberal to show ANY pictures or videos of ANY liberal rally where NO cuss words were used, NO threats were made, NO racist or other inappropriate comments were made, or where there wasn’t ANY trash left behind.

Remember the politicians who walked through a group of Tea Partiers on their way to a building and said they heard the “N” word several times, and one said he was spit on? Different videos taken by Tea Partiers were put together, and showed the group as they walked. No cuss words were recorded. One of the Tea Partiers had their hands in front of their mouth like a megaphone, and as one politician walked by, you can see him reacting to something. I’m guessing that the shouter ACCIDENTALLY sprayed some saliva as he shouted. It happens.

Most of the liberals who comment on FA would fit right in at a liberal rally. Some of the conservatives who would attend a Tea Party rally would probably be asked to tone it down. I have been to most of the Tea Party rallies in washington dc, and been to some in other places. No cuss words, no threats, no racism, many different races there, and no trash left AT ANY OF THEM. Since it is mostly trash that goes to liberal rallies, it isn’t surprising that mostly trash is left.

I would also call much of the behavior directed towards the police as reprehensible.

This also would not be allowed in a Tea Party rally.

####“I call upon all of you to wage a second American nonviolent revolution, to use civil disobedience, and to demand that this president leave town, to get up, to put the Quran down, to get up off his knees, and to figuratively come out with his hands up,” said Larry Klayman of Freedom Watch, a conservative political advocacy group.####

How is it “ugly” when all he is saying is he wants a “nonviolent revolution” using “vivil disobedience”, like Martin Luther King, Jr., and he demanded, “…that this president leave town….”, not drug or railroaded out of town, and that the president should quit showing favoritism to the Muslim religion. Did you think that any of the things said against ANY of the republican presidents was “ugly”?

Readteam
I like them all, yes all your last comments,

Proof on the internet?? There was NO PROOF at her hearing. Fact.

Since it is all on the internet your link is ?

Later evidence against Moss

Since Markward’s information included an address for Annie Lee Moss, and Moss confirmed this address in her testimony, the possibility of mistaken identity was never a very realistic one.[13][21] In 1958 the Subversive Activities Control Board investigated a related case and confirmed Markward’s testimony that Moss’s name and address had appeared on the Communist party rolls in the mid-1940s. Several sources have reported this as proving that Moss was a Communist.[22] More substantive is the evidence contained in Moss’s FBI file, some of which wasn’t revealed until the file was released through a Freedom of Information Act request. Andrea Friedman describes this evidence as “perhaps a dozen pieces of paper – included a list of ‘party recruits’ that identified Moss by name, race, age, and occupation; membership lists from two Communist party branches, the Communist Political Association, and various ad hoc committees containing Moss’s name and address, as well as the number of her Communist Party membership book; and receipt records from 1945 for Daily Worker subscriptions.” Friedman concludes that Moss most likely had indirect contact with Communists through her cafeteria workers’ union, and at most was probably a “casual recruit to the Communist Party, attracted by its social and economic justice politics,” and later abandoned any associations with them

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Annie_Lee_Moss

RW, there are many, many more damning articles. As I said, I understand your reading comp is zero point zip sh*t, but even you should be able to get someone to interpret for you.

@Richard Wheeler: #279
Just for the record: The TV debate between Nixon and Kennedy was staged. Nixon was known not to be able to stand very long because of his phlebitis in his leg, so it was decided that the two would stand behind podiums. Nixon had to switch back and forth on his legs because of the pain of the phlebitis. Nixon was also known to sweat a lot, so the room was set at a higher temperature than usual. Kennedy wore makeup, and Nixon didn’t. His switching back and forth, and his sweating made him look like he was nervous.

A poll of the radio listeners gave the debate to Nixon, but the TV viewers gave it to Kennedy. Even back then, the propaganda media did everything they could to get democrats in office.

@Smorgasbord: Smorg, it has gotten to the point that I’m pretty sure RW won’t understand what you’re saying. I think he’s off his meds.

@ilovebeeswarzone: #289
We should be having rallies FOR our veterans, not BY our veterans.

@Redteam: and Smorg Phlebitis–heat turned up to make Nixon sweat?? excuses . Kennedy had a bad back from war injury on PT-109. I saw the debate. JFK DESTROYED HIM.
Of course RT reminds us he’d had four doses of morphine that day.
Are you guys listening to yourselves? Hilarious

@Richard Wheeler:

Of course RT reminds us he’d had four doses of morphine that day.

As I’ve said, you’re off your meds and can’t read. I’ve never mentioned morphine.
And tell us all that you’ve never heard that the persons in the studio said Nixon had won and later the tv viewers said Kennedy. Those that can’t remember history, can’t remember history. (ever heard that saying)

@Redteam: #293
I usually leave it at the right for each person to have their own point of view. When I see that neither one of us are going to change our minds I would rather change the subject and stay friends.

@Richard Wheeler: #295
…Phlebitis–heat turned up to make Nixon sweat?? excuses.

If it were the exact opposite, you would be crying “CONSPIRICY!”

:/Redteam: Excuse me -you said he’d had 4 doses of meth that day. You know your drugs better than I.
Smorg Why make excuses for the guy. He was the experienced debater.
Meds I take none. Health is great.

@Richard Wheeler:

You know your drugs better than I.

It’s not drug knowledge RW, it’s being able to read and understand what I read. Unlike some around here.
