Time, the magazine dedicated to the Progressive Socialist movement, yet still professing to be a legitimate news source, has left Herman Cain out of the list of possible Republican contenders for the nomination. This omission has occurred twice: May 23 (page #35) and June 6 (page #16). It is obvious that Time, a representative voice for the Ultra Leftist movement that is so close to declaring themselves as Marxists, is omitting Cain for certain reasons. Reasons that go beyond bigotry and racism. They are scared to death of an intelligent Black man with the traditional values that Americans are searching for; a man who has actually accomplished meaningful achievements, a man who is not ashamed of his past, a man who can think on his feet, an articulate man who doesn’t need a teleprompter to keep from sounding like a moron, a man with integrity.
Cain competed in the first presidential debate on May 5 and commanded the floor; he officially declared himself on May 21. An excuse that they weren’t aware that he was running would be a bald faced lie, not that the propaganda bureaus are above telling lies, they just try to avoid lying when it is obvious to everyone that they are lying.
Time has devoted a page to amateur handicapping for the past two weeks, Mark Halperin has taken on the role of oddsmaker with odds that would make him a laughingstock among professional gamblers, but he doesn’t care if he appears to be a fool with 1,000 to one odds with Republican candidates, he has a mission. It is to impress upon the typical cerebrally deficient reader of Time, that Obama is invincible. This reenforcement of the Obama Myth will help keep those who are beginning to have doubts from straying to candidates who supposedly have no hope of winning, but Cain is that commodity that is hard to dismiss. He is infinitely more qualified than Obama and he isn’t dragging the Marxist baggage that is causing America to question Obama’s leadership into seemingly predictable debt and failure.
If you read Time, and hopefully you don’t, you would assume Republicans are racists. They appear to only consider White people; however the truth is far more incidious, for the Progressives are literally pimping Obama as their badge of fairness and compassion. The simple minded and those who thrive as parasites willingly accept this pablum and thus they are to be denied the image of a Black Man who actually competes and wins in the real world as opposed to a Community Agitator who accomplishes nothing and produces nothing. A tradition he has carried on through his presidency.
Yes, it is fair and logical to assume the Progressive Socialists are scared of Herman Cain; their fear is well founded, because Cain doesn’t need women fainting on camera cue or a sympathetic press singing false praises, he is the real deal that will destroy Obama in debate. A confrontation that America, at least the Non-Marxist segments of America are waiting breathlessly to watch.

I watched Herman Cain on O’Riley after his Sunday appearance with Cris Wallace. He admitted He didn’t know about the Palestinian right to return to lands in Israel formerly occupied by their ancestors. He also quickly understood the implications. Herman Cain quickly showed he ability to understand problems and find solutions that can work for the good of the country. My impression of him is that he understands that for the US to return to prosperity, the people must be allowed to succeed instead of being taken care of by the government. The liberals (progressives) cannot conceive of individuals being successful without the government intervention or without depriving someone else of their livelihood.

Time magazine may not believe there are black conservatives are out there but much to their dismay they will sooner or later find out how wrong they are.
There is a group of conservative black men in the Detroit area that host two radio shows on Saturday. Both shows air under the name of Joshua’s Trail and are hosted by Dr. Levon Yuille. The Saturday morning show is co-hosted by Charles McCollough and Milt Harris while the Saturday afternoon show is co-hosted by Del Marsh and Phil Stargell.
The first show is on from 8:00 – 10:00 A.M. on WDTK and the second is on from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. on WAAM. Both are streaming stations and gather quite a diverse group of both listeners and callers from not only the Detroit area but from around the country.
Both shows bring a breath of fresh air to the airwaves and a sense of hope that the black community is slowly but surely awakening to the truth about conservatism.

You know Skook? Cain might just be the person we have been waiting for all these years. He has all the positive attributes that have been mentioned, and yes he is black, but more importantly a successful black man who has lived the American dream. That just may be his ace in the hole, to winning over more blacks to vote for the GOP ticket. I would hope that as a black man that the resistance that he will surly run up against in the black community will not be half as bad as if he were a white man/woman. And yes there are those blacks who will undoubtedly call him a oreo/uncle Tom”. But I really think that he can do it. There are many blacks out there who are dissatisfied with Obi, but if given another black alternative to Obi I think that they would be more inclined to vote for Cain, than more of the same. Just look at how many conservatives who had reservations to cast their votes for Bush. Yet the majority of them did, and to quote a much used phrase at that time, “I had to hold my nose but I did vote for him.” The same could hold true for the black community. I can’t wait to watch the debates! if cain handles himself like he did in the first one, he will kick major butt! And I would bet good money that Cain did not sit on his laurels after that last debate. He probably started examining his weaknesses, and strengths and improving on them for the next showdown.

I heard the subject mentioned on a local Sunday radio talk show a few minutes ago, while riding over a mountain in one of the wealthiest Liberal bastions in the country. The word is out and even Liberals are asking why and not just Liberals, but the kind that donate millions. It’s for sure they will never be able to edit the previous issues listed above, so they are trying to limit collateral damage. It’s called taking a dump and falling back in it Tom. I am sure it has never happened to you: I am just asking to imagine the mess.

I like the fact that Cain is for The Fair Tax. If anyone doesn’t know what the Fair Tax is, it is a system where all Federal Taxes are eliminated and put in a Federeal sales tax. You pay your Federal taxes when you buy something. Even the illegals will be adding to the Federal treasury with this system. Every economist who studied the system agreed that it would creat jobs. Everyone who has read The Fair Tax book said they are for it. I recommend that EVREYONE read it.

Skookum, first let me say it’s flattering and unprecedented for me to receive an open invitation to express my opinion and I’m flattered by your invitation to do so. I might however take a moment to question your labeling of me as a “liberal/progressive”. I wonder perhaps if your own unapologetic residence upon the ideological frontier has conditioned you to a hardy skepticism toward those who reside in comfort closer to the equator, and perhaps if you lump all us fair-weather folk together, without considering how Buffalo is pretty far south of the north pole without being tropic. I’m not running away from the “liberal” tag, mind you; merely stating that in a forum where that word is pejorative and conjures a host of stereotypes that don’t necessarily conform with my (I like to think) more nuanced views, it’s not helpful to attach labels cavalierly. Of course, perhaps this is just ironic proof of the Robert Frost’s quote, “a liberal is a man too broadminded to take his own side in a quarrel”. Moving on.
To your question, I don’t know exactly what I think of Herman Cain because I too am still learning about him. On the plus ledge side, his story of his rise from modest means is superficially appealing and he seems like a man of substance. On the minus, his positions don’t align with mine in many areas (which is no different than any other GOP candidate). I like that he seems genuinely intelligent. I don’t like that he seems entirely focused on, and qualified for, domestic economic challenges and doesn’t seem up to speed on foreign affairs. There are those who believe it’s best to root for the worst candidate to win in the other parties primary because the general public will likely reject that candidate and your guy/gal will have a better chance of winning. I’ve always been wary of that proposition because if something goes horribly wrong, you could just end up with the worst possible outcome of all, for example, a dangerously unqualified intellectual lightweight, perhaps someone who thinks Paul Revere started the NRA. As an American who realizes that either a Democrat or a Republican could win, I have a fiduciary interest in seeing both parties put forth the best possibly candidates. I will continue to learn about Mr. Cain in that spirit and look forward to your continued coverage of his candidacy.
Digging deeper, if you would indulge my untrained curiosity, I’d be most grateful to read your opinions regarding the provenance of, the utility of, and your personal tolerance for, the ideological distribution of humanity. For arguments sake, let’s say it’s a bell curve, left to right, with the most zealous at each end and the moderate and disinterested clustered in the middle; is this, on the aggregate, a natural state of affairs? Is it closer to an ingrained state in a person, or more like what baseball team you happen to like, a matter of circumstance or inheritance? Are there natural liberals born into conservative households and vice-versa, and does the distribution remain, on the whole, stable? Is this distribution overall beneficial and perhaps responsibly for humanities rapid development, or would one side “winning” over the other, be more so? Finally, if it were possible without harming anyone physically, to wish away all liberalism, would you so?
