Think Hillary Voters Will Rally Around Obama? Think Again [Reader Post]

I don’t surf much in Democrat waters; if they ever caught me they’d make remote Pacific island cannibalism look like a state dinner. But I stumbled across this on a Democrat site, and though you have to read between the lines a bit, I think this Hillary supporter is not happy with Obama’s impending nomination. You be the judge.

On behalf of millions of Clinton supporters who have made it very clear that we will vote for a cockroach before we vote for Barack Obama, I would like you pieces of Obama crap to know that you can kiss our asses. We will collectively do everything in our power to see to it that you and that mysogynist, bigoted, race-baiting pig you worship, the fraud who has already set gender and racial relations back thirty years, goes down in flames in a big way. And there are millions of us. Millions. The kind of millions that brought his type down before from the voting booth.

So kindly don’t bother trying the Nicey-Nicey. We are not your wives you can beat the crap out of and later come back and get back together with. You are so vile you give yourselves away by the third comment, so really it’s a waste of time. You don’t even know you are offensive because it’s in your DNA or something. So really, there’s no sense of stressing yourselves trying to hide your disdain for us. It’s not necessary. We hate you even more than you hate us and all of you only serve to solidify our resolve. And when Barry Obama goes down in November, kindly remember why. Or don’t remember why. Nobody cares.

Hey, would you consider putting out a yard sign for the guy?

In the end they’ll come around, most of them, just like most Conservatives who swore they’d never vote for McCain have abandoned their principles and decided to vote for him, albeit reluctantly, and with disgust.

But what they won’t do is give or raise money, or proselytize for him. In the end, there will probably be some small percentage that doesn’t vote, or cross-votes at the top of the ticket. And I suspect it will end up being about the same on both sides.

This will have an interesting consequence, though. No matter who wins in november, they’ll likely have less than a 50% approval rating.

I bet quite a bit of Hillary’s voters pull the lever for McCain rather than Obama. Especially after the bloodletting in Denver! Can’t wait! Bwahahahaha!

If Obama loses in Nov. (in spite of McCain’s best efforts) , it will be because of racism! Just ask the media. The funny thing is that this will certainly be one of those years where the exit polls will be meaningless. I can forsee a situation where people will vote McCain, but tell the pollster they voted Obie, because they don’t want to be thought racist.

It appears a lot of Klington supporters will be joining McCain in anger management class.

McCain, Married a Foxy lady who is a millionaire, and to top it off she owns a beer company. How many of you guys want to replace him? For the free beer naturally. I’ve heard a lot of guys pray for that very thing.

I do wonder just how many of these upset Hillary supporters will stay home on election day rather than vote for Obama. The number may equal just as many conservatives who don’t trust McCain so they may cancel each other out.

My worry is that McCain will attempt to broaden his appeal to these disaffected Hillaryites and walk even further away from the conservative base.

As Skip alluded to, it’s not enough to have people vote for you, they have to donate to your campaign, make the phone calls, put up the yard signs and go door to door. I can’t see too many former Hillary supporters doing that for McCain any more than I can see many disaffected conservatives doing that for McCain.

No Quarter is one of the big anti “No Bama”/pro Hillary sites. Merciless some of those posters. I wander over there on a semi regular basis… whenever I get a masochistic hair up the rear end….

If BHO gets the DNC nod, I believe die hard Hillary fans will most definitely come out and vote, and cast their ballots for McCain. If Obama lost this year, I highly doubt he would be the DNC darling in 2012. So this opens the field for a 2012 Hillary run.

On the flip side, if Obama wins, Hillary won’t see a possible nomination until 2016. It’s for this same reason that I don’t believe she’d take a #2 slot as veep. So Hillary supporters are as vested in an Obama defeat as any solid GOP voter.

Jus’ one girl’s opinion.

Our local CBS affiliate ran an online poll on Tuesday night (Oregon/Kentucky primary night) and asked the question: “If your candidate is not the Democrat nominee, how would you vote in November … support the nominee or vote for John McCain?”

Support the nominee – 40% Vote for McCain – 60%

This is pretty telling, considering Obama crushed Hillary in the Colorado Caucus back in February. Also, one has to wonder if a case of “buyer’s remorse” has developed.

Hillary needs to stay away from the VP slot. Diehard Hillary fans will now rally behind McCain , defeat Obama, and bring Hillary back from the dead in 2012. At which time the DNC will eat their words and kiss her ass because, by then, they will realize what they’ve done.

If they haven’t already.
