Trump Jr. pounds the harridans of The View

Donald Trump Jr. blasts ‘The View’ hosts for Joy Behar’s ‘blackface’ and Whoopi Goldberg comments on Polanski

Donald Trump Jr. went into enemy territory on Thursday prepared for a fight, and a fight he got.

Minutes into his appearance on the left-leaning daytime chatfest “The View,” co-host Joy Behar rattled off a laundry list of President Trump’s mishaps and controversial moments when Trump Jr. reminded the panel that “we’ve all done things that we regret.”

The president’s oldest son, who was joined on the show by his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle, went on the offensive, accusing “Joy Behar of once using “blackface,” and calling out Whoopi Goldberg’s past comments diminishing the seriousness of director Roman Polanski’s sexual assault of a minor. Then, when the show went to commercial, Trump Jr. took to Twitter to continue the barrage.

“We’ve all done things that we regret. Joy, you have worn blackface,” Trump Jr. said at one point during the contentious segment. “Whoopi, you said that Roman Polanski… it wasn’t ‘rape-rape,’ when he raped a child.”

Goldberg snapped back: “Now that you’ve broken this piece of ice, because I guess it is the fight you wanted…are you questioning my character?”

“I’m not questioning your character. I’m talking about, you’re questioning my father’s character and I say we all have done and said things,” Trump Jr. said before being interrupted by Goldberg.

Behar denied wearing blackface

Photo resurfaces of Joy Behar in blackface for ‘beautiful African woman’ Halloween costume

The Wrap media editor Jon Levine resurfaced an old clip of “The View” on Wednesday in which hosts, including Joy Behar, discuss Behar’s past use of blackface for a Halloween costume.

Video of the 2016 episode posted by Levine shows Behar discussing the photo in a joking manner with then-co-hosts including Raven-Symone, who asked Behar: “Joy, are you black?”

“Joy — are you my auntie, Joy?” the “That’s So Raven” star, who is black, jokes in the video. “Did you have tanning lotion on, Joy?”

Behar responds, admitting that she used makeup “that was a little bit darker than my skin.”

This is great

It was nice to see those witches get handed their heads.

The View just another liberal talk show with the usial bunch of pathetic little screwballs you could ever imagine crawling out of the woodwork

It was blackface.
All attempts to appropriate the black culture thru makeup is blackface.
To deny it is crazy.
In minstrel days and during vaudeville actors wore an over-the-top version of blackface, using shoe polish.
Groucho Marx also used shoe polish to put on his facial hair disguise so he could go out in public without makeup and not be recognized as a celeb.
I met him at a shoe store in the 1950’s when his show was still on and didn’t recognize him.
But the shoe salesman (remember them?) introduced me to him.

It was nice to see those witches get handed their heads.

You can hand them their heads, but I’m sure they’d prefer something more useful and valuable.

Trump Jr. must have been tired and went on “The View” to rest his brain.

BTW they invited him to hawk his new book TRIGGERED how ironic.

speak about hypocrisy-recall when actor ted danson painted his arms, face and hands and dress as a black man to propose to fat ass whoopie? recall on all the media news stations and in most newspapers across the country. when one watches the view- realize it represents a formatted state control show under a Khrushchev design. they all represent true communist and socialist values only surpassed by the hollywood “decadent stupidity” mentality.

I bet if Trump Jr had his way, he would rename this article.

@Deplorable Me: I found where woopie buys her weave…
Jr moped the floor with her.
We have a who wore it better here.

@kitt: Apparently she gets a deal on used ones from the grease pit of a garage.
