Some More Big Take Aways from Tucker’s Putin Interview

by Larry Johnson

We have not beaten this horse to death. At least not yet. But there are some other important results from Tucker’s interview of Putin that merit some attention.

First, I checked all of the cable news web sites — Fox News, CNN and MSNBC — this morning and not one covered any facet of Tucker’s interview with Putin except for a mention that Tucker asked Putin to free the Wall Street Journal reporter. The print media did its best to downplay the event. The NY Times published a piece under the headline, Putin Calls on U.S. to ‘Negotiate’ on Ukraine in Tucker Carlson Interview, while the NY Post focused on Putin’s claim that Bill Clinton initially was open to letting Russia join NATO but his advisors vetoed that idea (Putin says Bill Clinton told him Russia could join NATO before pulling back hours later: ‘You tricked us’). No one did a deep dive to analyze what Putin had to say.

While the Western media is bending over backwards to ignore the interview, it has caught fire on the internet. As of 9pm Eastern Standard Time the interview on X/Twitter has over 159 MILLION views.

Did you notice the one President that Putin declined to name? Barack Obama. Putin had some positive things to say about George W Bush and Donald Trump. He talked about Clinton and the U.S. refusal to entertain Russia as a NATO partner. And he described the fruitless interactions with demented Joe Biden. So, why not talk about Obama? It was under Obama’s stewardship that the CIA, in tandem with Britain’s MI-6, launched the Maidan coup, which culminated in the ouster of Ukraine’s elected President Viktor Yanukovych. I interpret not saying the name of Voldemort, err I mean Obama, indicates Putin is mightily pissed off at Obama. Rightly so.

Putin also provided the first confirmed ranking of the countries supplying mercenaries to fight for Ukraine against Russia — Poland, the United States and Georgia (in that order). I did not realize that there were that many U.S. mercs running around in Ukraine.

Ray McGovern and I discussed the Tucker interview with Judge Napolitano on today’s Intel Roundtable.

02/10/24 – Trump says he would ‘encourage’ Russia to attack Nato allies who do not pay their bills

Donald Trump has said he would “encourage” Russia to attack any Nato member that fails to pay its bills as part of the Western military alliance.

At a rally on Saturday, he said he had once told a leader he would not protect a nation behind on its payments, and would “encourage” the aggressors to “do whatever the hell they want”.

Members of Nato commit to defend any nation in the bloc that gets attacked.

The White House called the comments “appalling and unhinged”.

Addressing crowds during the rally in South Carolina, Mr Trump said he had made his comments about Russia during a meeting of leaders of Nato countries.

He recalled that the leader of a “big country” had presented a hypothetical situation in which he was not meeting his financial obligations within Nato and had come under attack from Moscow.

Mr Trump said the leader had asked if the US would come to his country’s aid in that scenario, which prompted him to issue a rebuke.

“I said: ‘You didn’t pay? You’re delinquent?’… ‘No I would not protect you, in fact I would encourage them to do whatever they want. You gotta pay.'”

A White House spokesman said the former president was “encouraging invasions of our closest allies by murderous regimes”, and labelled the comments “appalling and unhinged”.

He added that the statement “endangers American national security, global stability and our economy at home”.

Mr Trump, the favourite to run again as the Republican candidate in this year’s US presidential election, has long been critical of Nato and what he sees as an excessive financial burden on the United States to guarantee the defence of 30 other nations.

Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, after Mr Trump left office. He has since bemoaned the amount of US money sent to Ukraine, which is not a Nato member.

The US has provided Ukraine with more financial support than any other country – totalling more than $44bn (£34bn) since the 2022 invasion, according to White House figures from December.

However, Republicans in Congress have since the turn of the year blocked all new funding – demanding tough measures to restrict migration into the US on its southern border, and then refusing the amended bill when it was presented earlier this week.

Mr Trump celebrated that rejection during Saturday’s rally, saying the proposals made by President Biden had been “disastrous”.

The two issues have now been successfully separated, meaning that senators are now able to debate the aid money separately.

“Unhinged” is putting it mildly. I don’t know what it’s going to take to wake this man’s followers up. They may not be listening, but Putin and every enemy of America certainly is.

Then I guess they should fulfill their commitments and pay. Trump had them paying and made NATO stronger. His method WORKS. Dumbasses like Obama and Robin Ware/Robert L. Peters/JRB Ware/Pedo Peter/idiot Biden letting them walk all over them and do all the heavy lifting doesn’t. That makes NATO weaker, which very well could be their intent.

Trump doesn’t seem to comprehend that the containment of Putin is vital to our own national security, that the United States is essentially the same size as ALL of Europe, or that the GDP of all European nations combined is only around 72% of the United States.

Not our problem. Let them not support the invaders from Africa, draining their coffers. Stop the insane green agenda that stunts advancement, it has the farmers in full revolt. NATO created the problem, have their uber rich Rothchilds and the English King pay for protection, as in the old days, when the Kings wanted territory.
The invaders wont fight for their hosts, like in Afghanistan they dont have the IQ for training no loyalty or common tribal goal.
You have both TDS and PDS so does NATO.

Europe may be signaling they are losing to the globalists interests. Let them. As for me, America First. The rest can live the life they have chosen or have been forced to live. If they acquiesce, sucks to be them.

You don’t seem to grasp the fact that America is part of an interdependent global economy that our prosperity and national security depend on.

This is the 21st Century, not the 19th.

You don’t seem to grasp that Robin Ware/Robert L. Peters/JRB Ware/Pedo Peter/idiot Biden is an incompetent, ignorant, corrupt, treasonous pedophile that enabled Putin to invade Ukraine while Trump made NATO stronger and kept Putin under control.

while Trump made NATO stronger and kept Putin under control.

Trump said that he would encourage Russia to attack NATO allies and that he wouldn’t turn a hand to help them.

The one and only reason Russia invaded Ukraine is because Robin Ware/Robert L. Peters/JRB Ware/Pedo Peter/idiot Biden is a weak, incompetent, invertebrate moron that just begs to be taken advantage of. His energy policies enabled Putin to attack and now it’s a massive disaster.

the United States is essentially the same size as ALL of Europe, or that the GDP of all European nations combined is only around 72% of the United States.

So you want to apply your Socialist philosophy of “equity” to foreign policy?

“Socialism is the fire department saving your house. Capitalism is the insurance company denying your claim.”

And who are you quoting without giving credit, Comrade Greggie.

Anonymous. He said a lot of things.

Stayed anonymous for a reason, apparently. Kind of like Obama wanting to stay behind the scenes as Robin Ware/Robert L. Peters/JRB Ware/Pedo Peter/idiot Biden wrecks the country.

He’s not claiming it as his own. He put it in quotation marks.

Wow. So much stupidity in just two sentences.

Please explain.

Capitalism has provided more economic opportunity, wealth and advancement than can be measured. Socialism is a cancer. How’s that?

Putin got a few points of history “wrong.”
See, according to America’s revisionists, history tells one narrative, but according to Russia’s revisionists, history tells another narrative.
Who knows how long we’ve all been learning lies about the past.

But, one thing is certain: if you put you money on the line, you are more “bought into” your agenda.
Europe had been all talk, no cash for a long time, letting the USA bear the brunt of defending Europe.
We all learned in Vietnam that there is no “domino effect.”

Trump already forced European countries to “pay their part of the bill,” to defend Europe.
It worked.
Now he suggests all “gifts” of cash to foreign nations be reconfigured as loans.
These loans would have low-to-no interest and adjustable repayment schedules.
Makes sense.

There is Brexit Boris tossing a grenade into the peace agreement talks, now why would he do that knowing men were dying and Ukraine was losing?
Perhaps these “negotiations” should be fully televised.
He can deny it all he wants but the internet is forever
Apr 20, 2022Boris Johnson has cast doubt on the prospects for a negotiated peace in Ukraine, comparing it to holding talks with a “crocodile

Jun 7, 2022Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskiy and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson walk along a street after a meeting, as Russia’s attack on Ukraine continues, in Kyiv

Boris Johnson warns against a Ukraine-Russia peace deal There is “absolutely no sign” that Russia wants to reach a deal with Ukraine, and it could not be trusted even if one

Maybe Boris should get a uniform and a gun, be put on the front lines along with all the war pigs.

Do you believe that Putin wants a negotiated end to the war?

02/10/24 – Swift warned against further shows of public support for President Biden

Taylor Swift will be vilified by millions of Americans and risk her own safety if she endorses Joe Biden in the 2024 election, a top talent agent has warned…

…Amid speculation of her impending support for Mr Biden, Mr Trump’s allies were said to be plotting a “holy war” against the star.

It sparked right-wing conspiracy theories including claims Swift is a secret Pentagon agent and her relationship with Mr Kelce has been fabricated to bolster Mr Biden.

If she wades into the politics ahead of this year’s election she will be “vilified by a massive number of people in a way she’s never experienced”, Mr Shalit said.

“I also think that she does get involved, she also adds personal risk to herself… because there are a lot of extremists out there,” he said, adding that those she goes against may “try and do nasty, unpleasant things to her”.

Swift has not previously been put off voicing her opinion by the potential fallout…

Endorse Trump’s opponent and you’ll risk your life? Seriously, WTF?

Only the left promotes and employs violence. Look at what they did at the Russell and Hart Senate buildings, at the Supreme Court, at the homes of Supreme Court Justices or in Democrat cities after Floyd killed himself with his own fentanyl. Look at the Hamas supporters and their violent protests. Violence is the currency of the left and the Democrats encourage and support it.
