Megyn Kelly Reveals Silver Lining In Judge McAfee’s Decision On Fani Willis

The decision by a Georgia judge allowing Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis to remain on her Trump case if conditions are met does not represent a sizable win for the Democrat, according to Megyn Kelly.

The SiriusXM host and former Fox News anchor wrote just an hour after Super Court Judge Scott McAfee’s decision that Willis has been “publicly humiliated and disgraced” by allegations that she carried on a secret affair with fellow Trump prosecutor Nathan Wade. Even worse, she may have perjured herself when claiming their relationship only began after Wade was hired by her office.

“Before this scandal was unearthed by defense attny Ashley (Ashleigh) Merchant, things were rolling along for Fani W. She’s now been publicly humiliated and disgraced. Her ethical & legal probs are only just beginning. I’m not at all confident she will try this case v Trump. She will be under multiple investigations by then,” Kelly wrote on X.

“She gets to remain on the case thx to a judge who pulled a cowardly John Roberts. But her probs are only beginning … and getting Wade off of this case is a superhuman feat by the defense. He’s been outed (as has she) as a liar/schemer. So – not entirely what the defense wanted (or deserved) but still Team Trump is in much better shape today than 3 mos ago in GA,” she added.

Even if Willis were to proceed in the case, she would be under the microscope of federal and state investigators probing whether she has politicized her office or abused resources to unethically fund it. U.S. House Republicans are exploring whether Willis diverted anti-gang resources from other divisions under her purview while Ashleigh Merchant, an attorney for one of the 14 Trump co-defendants, has unearthed evidence that Wills took a high-level meeting with Vice President Kamala Harris while her case against Trump was ongoing.

On Wednesday, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed into law a new commission tasked with removing prosecutors who refuse to upload their oaths of office, an allegation that has been raised against Willis.

“I am thankful to Governor Kemp for signing this vital piece of legislation into law. Now, the Prosecuting Attorneys Qualifications Commission can begin its important work and rein in rogue District Attorneys that refuse to uphold the rule of law in our state. If District Attorneys want to continue down this reckless road and put the interests of criminals ahead of law-abiding citizens, they will be held accountable,” said Lt. Governor Burt Jones following the signing ceremony.

“publicly humiliated and disgraced”

Well, only to those who think we should have a legitimate justice system that is not used as a political weapon by the most degenerate and corrupt people in our nation. I’m sure Democrats think this is just cool as shit and in no way impugns the mission Fanni was on, which was try and swing the 2024 election over to the most corrupt and incompetent idiot ever to shit his pants in the oval office, Robin Ware/Robert L. Peters/JRB Ware/Pedo Peter/idiot Biden.

Like with most things we conservatives complain about, something being blatantly obviously wrong and the applicable authority investigating and doing something about it are two vastly different concepts. Will we even get the appearance of an investigation? Or, will we see an actual investigation but it will be dragged out until there is no longer any interest or purpose? Or, will we see action by someone as gutless as McAffee that pretends to look at the evidence and says, “Hmmm… nope. Nothing to see here.”?
