McAfee Splits the Fani Baby?

by Ed Morrissey

Profiles in Courage, it ain’t.

Judge Scott McAfee has just released his much-anticipated ruling on the disqualification motion involving Fani Willis, Nathan Wade, and the prosecution of Donald Trump et al in Fulton County, Georgia. Faced with an absurd set of explanations, courtroom deceit, and obvious political grandstanding from Wills and Wade, McAfee decided to … leave the decision to her:

An Atlanta judge on Friday ruled that Fani T. Willis, the Fulton Country district attorney, could continue leading the prosecution of former President Donald J. Trump and his allies in Georgia, but only if her former romantic partner, Nathan J. Wade, withdraws as the lead prosecutor of the case.

The ruling by Judge Scott McAfee of Fulton Superior Court cut a middle path between removing Ms. Willis for a conflict of interest, which defense lawyers had sought, and her full vindication, with the judge sharply criticizing her behavior.

Read the order at Fox 5 Atlanta. McAfee tries to eat his cake and have it too when it comes to Fani Willis. On page 9 of his ruling, McAfee calls the relationship “a tremendous lapse in judgment” and Willis’ courtroom behavior “unprofessional,” before leaving it up to her whether she wants to keep the case:

Without sufficient evidence that the District Attorney acquired a personal stake in the prosecution, or that her financial arrangements had any impact on the case, the Defendants’ claims of an actual conflict must be denied. This finding is by no means an indication that the Court condones this tremendous lapse in judgment or the unprofessional manner of the District Attorney’s testimony during the evidentiary hearing. Rather, it is the undersigned’s opinion thatGeorgia law does not permit the finding of an actual conflict for simply making bad choices – even repeatedly – and it is the trial court’s duty to confine itself to the relevant issues and applicable law properly brought before it. Other forums or sources of authority such as the General Assembly, the Georgia State Ethics Commission, the State Bar of Georgia, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners, or the voters of Fulton County may offer feedback on any unanswered questions that linger. But those are not the issues determinative to the Defendants’ motions alleging an actual conflict.

And even more hilariously, McAfee then declares that Willis has created at least “an appearance of impropriety” that must be ameliorated, and that Wade clearly intended to deceive the divorce court about the nature of his relationship with Willis — presumably with Willis’ help, since she refused a subpoena service and threatened to prosecute Joycelyn Wade for obstruction if she pursued the subpoena. McAfee then goes on to declare Terrence Bradley a liar, and that he’s not the only one:

However, an odor of mendacity remains. The Court is not under an obligation to ferret out every instance of potential dishonesty from each witness or defendant ever presented in open court. Such an expectation would mean an end to the efficient disposition of criminal and civil proceedings. Yet reasonable questions about whether the District Attorney and her hand-selected lead SADA testified untruthfully about the timing of their relationship further underpin the finding of an appearance of impropriety and the need to make proportional efforts to cure it.

So Willis acted unprofessionally in the courtroom and contributed to an “odor of mendacity,” establishing “an appearance of impropriety” … but McAfee wants to let Willis resolve the situation because she’s just so darned trustworthy, or something.

That’s even more risible considering Willis’ speech at a church in which she accused the defense attorneys of racism for hiring her boyfriend. McAfee claims that Willis’ constant accusation of racism aimed broadly at the defense is “legally improper,” but still chooses to do literally nothing about it.

Curtis Houck sums it up nicely:

The problem with splitting the baby is that the baby dies. That seems to be what happened here in McAfee’s attempt to be Solomonic. If he wanted Fani Willis to remain in charge of the case, he needed to exonerate her from all of these issues. Instead, he admitted what everyone could see on live television, and then refused to act on it.

That sets up an appeal, of course, based on the factual record that McAfee established in this order. And one has to wonder whether that is McAfee’s intent — to punt this to the state appellate court rather than risk the ire of Fulton County voters by disqualifying Willis.

The imaginary unwritten law CLEARLY states that only ONE thieving, pathological liar is allowed on a fascist, politically-driven lawfare case. So, one of you has to go.

A judge who was a donor to a prosecutor is allowing that same prosecutor, who perjured herself, to prosecute someone for a crime that never happened. Let that one sink in.

President Trump has been fully exonerated of the infamous telephone call now that the truth has come out. None of these assorted cases has any merit.

Not only that, but it has been shown the group receiving Trump’s call illegally recorded the call, lied about the contents of the illegally recorded call, then tried to destroy the evidence. If that’s not conspiracy and obstruction, if not a RICO case itself, I don’t know what is.

No one anywhere on the prosecutorial side of this case as one ounce of credibility or legitimacy. Democrats just love it, though.

Prosecute everyone who pointed out serious issues with the election 18 co defendants, the bullshit with Rudy.

Breaking Fanie stepped down?

Jonathan Turley: Fani Should Have Stepped Down – How is One Guilty and Not the Other? (Video)

1 the judge should have recused should yet recuse
2 Both need a good IRS audit along with a full audit of her department
3 Purjury charges, disbarment
only problem is he was a FU caused charges to be dismissed keeping him on would be better than getting a better crooked lawyer.

In the Democrat world. Blatant, obvious, definite, proven guilt MIGHT not indicate guilt.

Fani will have to be dragged out, kicking and screaming, shouting “RACISM!” all the way.

There was never any legal basis for Willis to be disqualified. It was nothing but an effort by Team Trump to smear her reputation.

democrat law fare has failed. There will be zero trials regarding any of the bogus charges before Election Day in November. The only way democrats can defeat President Trump is to cheat and steal 2024 like they did in 2020.

All that’s necessary is for all of the people who realize what Trump is to turn out and vote.

Most adults know what it means when someone tells them whatever they want to hear without regard for truth, principles, morality, or logical consistency.

03/14/24 – Former Vice President Mike Pence will not endorse Trump in 2024

…Trump “is pursuing and articulating an agenda that is at odds with the conservative agenda that we governed on during our four years,” Pence said on Fox News…

That would be a monumental understatement.

I am certain Judas Pence is being well paid for betraying Mr. Trump and the American people. His political life is over and he likely knows it, and is now competing with Christie and Nimrata for dirty money from billionaires and foreign corporations.

What is really necessary is for Democrats to crank up the election fraud machine, like in 2020.

Why Is President Biden Helping Hamas?

Last edited 1 month ago by TrumpWon

Why do republicans not question the morality of 30,000 civilian deaths Gaza?

Why Is President Biden Helping Hamas?

IDK, why did hamas start a war with Israel?

Most likely to trigger the sort of disproportionate response we’re now seeing, which will guarantee the perpetuation of hatred and violence. Nothing threatens lunatic terrorists more than the possibility of peace. These are religious fanatics whose only meaning in life is death and martyrdom. So far as they’re concerned, the more innocents that die the better. It creates the mindless rage that they exploit.

IDK, why did hamas start a war with Israel?

Israel needs to kill every single hamas terrorist and hamas sympathizer in Gaza so that October 07 never happens again. And, if there is some collateral damage, well too damn bad.

Last edited 1 month ago by TrumpWon

Most likely to trigger the sort of disproportionate response we’re now seeing, which will guarantee the perpetuation of hatred and violence.

So, you think it was automatic that the IDF would just begin slaughtering innocent civilians if Hamas murdered 1,200 innocent Jews? If that is the case, and Hamas got what they wanted, what’s the problem?

My guess is, based on history, that there is nowhere near 30,000 civilian casualties in Gaza. The Israelis, being astutely aware of Hamas’ aim and that Hamas intentionally uses civilians as shields, make every possible effort to reduce the harm to civilians.

The world is full of anti-Semites. The Democrat party is infested with them. It takes very little to arouse the “hatred and violence” constantly seething in the left.

You should redirect your question to the parents of dead children, or the children of dead parents.

If that is the case, and Hamas got what they wanted, what’s the problem?

Hopefully both are dead.

Listen to yourself.

Hopefully both are dead.

The only good hamas is a dead hamas. What is not to like about that?

Last edited 1 month ago by TrumpWon

Democrats sympathize with terrorists. That’s why they have their own here.

Except, like the 30,000 casualties, the parents of the dead children don’t exist, either.

You just LOVE to bet lied to and love to stoke your desire to hate with the lies.

Most likely to trigger the sort of disproportionate response we’re now seeing, which will guarantee the perpetuation of hatred and violence.

OK, let’s start this off with where you get the 30,000 number? I’d bet it’s from Hamas itself. Do you admit to that?

As to triggering disproportionate response; you seem to be ignoring that Muslims have hated the Jewish people since the time of Mohammed. Or did you forget that? And you seem to have forgotten that the IDF doesn’t cut babies out of the Gazan mother’s womb. Killing unborn babies seems to the the purview of the Muslim terrorists and American Democrats. No war in Israel has ever been started by the Jews. Always started by the Muslim nations.

There is no end to Islamic terrorism. It’s part of their culture and their culture is based on their religious cult. And they hate Americans as much as you do.

Have you seen recent aerial videos of the devastation in Gaza? Do you understand that 1.3 million people are trapped there with nowhere to escape to? That’s about 14,000 human beings per square mile. 50 to 60 percent of all buildings in Gaza have been damaged or destroyed by bombing and shelling. How could tens of thousands NOT have been killed?

Last edited 1 month ago by Greg

The more the better. The fewer hamas terrorist the better chance for peace. The next dirtbags to get rid of are the hezbolas.

You will never have peace, because of the hatred and anger you carry inside of yourself.

TrumpWon is not a hateful, vindictive, fascist Democrat.

I see they wont be tossing queers off any tall buildings but a quote from you my dear

When a terrorist organization uses neighborhoods to launch attacks to murder children, girls, boys, women, elderly, what do you think happens when the attacked nation defends itself? THIS is the result of Robin Ware/Robert L. Peters/JRB Ware/Pedo Peter/idiot Biden lifting sanctions on Iran, flooding them with cash and allowing them to resume funding terrorism.

Wouldn’t have happened under Trump. Blame Robin Ware/Robert L. Peters/JRB Ware/Pedo Peter/idiot Biden, 100%.

Every orphaned child will become a candidate for terrorist recruiters. This is why I believe targeted assassination is a good alternative to war. You might make a few mistakes, but tens of thousands don’t die because of them. Take out a Hitler, take out a Putin, and the world becomes a better place. Such people can be profiled with a fair degree of accuracy. Take them out early, and apologize to no one.

Just like those that Obama’s drone strikes recruited into al Qaeda. The Arabs themselves will recruit more terrorists, indoctrinating children to hate Jews and aspire to kill Jews. While Trump was starving them for cash, Robin Ware/Robert L. Peters/JRB Ware/Pedo Peter/idiot Biden refinanced them.

Obama’s drone strikes neutralized ISIS and al Qaeda. Which of their top level cadre would you want to bring back?

They claimed to kill one guy 3 or 4 times, I think I would bring back the doctors without borders he droned.

ISIS wasn’t neutralized until Trump took them out. Obama killed civilians (hmm… much like Robin Ware/Robert L. Peters/JRB Ware/Pedo Peter/idiot Biden) and recruited for al Qaeda.

Are you referring to the fact that Trump ordered more drone strikes than Obama did? 40 in Somalia in 2020 alone…

They will anyway its their culture.
Oh BTW Macron can suck on his tranny wifes dick declaring war on Russia. He has run France into a shit hole and doesnt GAF if they are nuked .

I was unaware that a “tranny wife” could give birth to three children, which she has from her first marriage. Perhaps you know more about that than I do.

Any pics of her preggers? Ya look it up its an amusing lil tale that has interrupted their intimacy lol.

You say you have children, but I’ve never seen a picture of you pregnant. You’re probably trans. Your handle is a nickname for Christopher. Big Chris. Which sag lower—you withered tits or your droopy balls?

You are simply insane

I’m simply doing exactly the same kind of thing you do all the time. If that makes one insane, then own it, Big Chris.

I’ll bet you have more facial hair than I have.

I was unaware that a “tranny wife” could give birth to three children,

Isn’t that leftist woke tranny blasphemy?

That’s the bullshit bouncing around in your own head.

No, that’s your ideology, scooter. You better turn yourself in for reeducation.

I see you refuse to answer my question (as you constantly do), Do you think I should care about Gazans who would gladly watch Hamas slit your throat simply because you are a Jew or an American? You buy the crap that is put out by fake news organizations like the anti-Jewish NYSlimes who has been lying to readers for over a century. I am sure you are going to tell me “but, but, the Gazans are not Hamas and so you can’t blame them.” Who the hell do you think put Hamas in Gaza Strip leadership?

Remember CNN, the “news” site you love to link to?

“At his office about a mile away, where desks and shelves groan under piles of paperwork, Khalil Shikaki is thinking about the conflict (in the Gaza Strip).
Palestinians, he says, overwhelmingly support the Hamas decision to go to war with Israel.

His research company, the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research (PCPSR), has just published the findings of its latest survey into Palestinian attitudes.
Seven hundred and fifty adults were interviewed face to face in the West Bank, and 481 were interviewed in Gaza, also in person. The Gaza data collection was done during the recent truce, when it was safer for researchers to move about.
The survey, which has a four-point margin of error (rather than the usual three-point), found that almost three-quarters (72%) of all respondents believe Hamas’s decision to launch its attack on Israel on October 7 was “correct.”

Have you seen recent aerial videos of the devastation in Gaza?

Have you seen the either the aerial videos or the on ground videos of the London blitzkrieg? That bombardment, that included fire bombing, lasted eight months, f*ckwit. And in nightly bombing, including the firebombing, how many Brits do you estimate were killed?

You are willing to believe any lie your told. Now you are jumping on the side of radical Islam that would have no qualms about killing you. I guess you have forgotten the videos of Gazan children dancing in the streets of Gaza or marching with their headbands and rifles on September 11, 2001?

You are a disgraceful pig.

“The legend surrounding the Red Heifer, rooted in Mishnah texts, describes specific attributes such as its color, work history, and upbringing. The unique conditions for its birth and the subsequent rituals contribute to its sacred significance. The legend asserts that a red heifer meeting these criteria has not been born in two thousand years, making the current presence of five such heifers a highly exceptional and symbolic event.”

That’s your response to Robin Ware/Robert L. Peters/JRB Ware/Pedo Peter/idiot Biden babbling, stammering, garbling, staring blankly off into space every time he speaks (unless he is jacked up on a supercharger cocktail)? Weak, pathetic, desperate, sad and lame. Just like Robin Ware/Robert L. Peters/JRB Ware/Pedo Peter/idiot Biden himself.

Those that havent listened to A couple of Rallies and have had a lack of alternate media wouldnt make sense of it. MSNBc knows that.

I think I see the problem; you leftists are so ignorant of economic things that you think someone discussing the economy and ways to improve it is “babbling”. Just because you don’t understand German doesn’t mean someone speaking German is babbling. It just means you are ignorant.

Kidneys, uranium…Enrique? Hello?

Yup no borrowing money for other countries wars, we have our own problems

No, it’s Robin Ware/Robert L. Peters/JRB Ware/Pedo Peter/idiot Biden’s destruction of border security, putting US citizens in danger, many dying at the hands of illegal immigrant criminals, and Democrats’ refusal to protect US citizens that has put the aid at risk. Democrats don’t always get everything their own way. Sometimes they will HAVE to put the US taxpaying citizen first.

I might be best not to trust Hamas with supplying you with the numbers of casualties, no matter how much you enjoy being lied to.

greg lives to be lied to.

There was never any legal basis for Willis to be disqualified.

Well, not from the Democrat perspective. Lying, fraud, misuse of taxpayer funds, abuse of power are all admirable qualities to Democrats. It’s just honest people and the actual law where those come in conflict. The fact is, she is scum and should never have brought this case, considering it is based on lies about an illegally recorded phone call.

That would be the smear. None of those things actually took place. The point was to plant those ideas in people’s heads. That’s how Trump operates.

Only Fani’s testimony, he BFF’s testimony, Wade’s testimony, Wade’s partner’s testimony, the phone records and the vacation receipts say different. It strikes me that you deny evidence when it exists and condemn when evidence doesn’t exist. You should work on reversing that.

Both her testimony and the paramour’s testimony are enough to kick her fat ass to the penitentiary. Wade can run after her so they can be together. Both perjured themselves.

McAfee is running for reelection in a black district. Does he want to axe Fani? Now he can say in his campaign flyer, “I saved Fani’s fanny” from Trump!

Judge McAfee donated to Fani Willis in 2020. McAfee is allowing Willis to remain despite Terrence Bradley saying “dang” after realizing texts proved Nathan Wade and Fani Willis were in a relationship before Willis hired Wade to get Trump. Trump won’t receive a fair trial.

Jonathan Turley had one of the best reactions;

“It’s like finding two people in a bank vault and taking one off to jail.”

“They both testified in the same way. They were the two parts to this relationship, and yet only one of them was disqualified.”

“Why should Willis escape these consequences?”

Fanny being told that all she has to do is update her relationship on Facebook to “Single – Again…” is simply telling her that there will be no consequences for her malfeasance.
You’d better break up with him, is this 3rd grade?
The judge is a joke.
