Karine Jean-Pierre’s System Reboots in Real Time After Doocy Asks About Biden ‘Bloodbath’ Remarks

The media/Dem-driven fauxtrage over former President Donald Trump’s recent comments referencing an auto industry “bloodbath” kicked into overdrive again Monday after the presumptive 2024 GOP presidential nominee used it during a presser in Michigan and in a new campaign ad on Biden’s border crisis, which Trump now calls “Biden’s border bloodbath.”

“It’s a border bloodbath and it’s destroying our country, it’s a very bad thing happening. It’s going to end on the day that I take office,” Trump said after describing the types of illegals pouring over the border, including people he described as “military-age men” from countries like the Congo, Yemen, Somalia, Syria, and China who were “perfectly fit for military service.”

During the Monday White House press briefing, press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre fielded questions from several members of the press corps about Trump in the context of both the “bloodbath” presser and the ad:

But when it came time for Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy to ask his question, it was specifically about remarks Biden himself made in 2020 where he declared that the bruising Democrat presidential primary should not turn into a “negative bloodbath.”

“So when Donald Trump is talking about a ‘bloodbath,’ it is ‘violent rhetoric,'” Doocy said. “What was it when Joe Biden said in 2020, ‘What we can’t let happen is let this primary become a negative bloodbath’?”

What happened next was Jean-Pierre seeming to do the equivalent of a computer reboot in real time, while suggesting at one point later that “context” was needed, though the Biden White House has never cared about context when it comes to Donald Trump.

Doocy had to repeat the question several times, and it was never directly answered by a flustered Jean-Pierre, who twice called it “disingenuous” to ask.

Watch:

This graphic came pretty close to describing what was actually going on with Jean-Pierre as Doocy asked the question:

This whole ridiculous debate reminds me to a certain extent of how the media went nuts after the attempted assassination of then-Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ) in 2011, with so-called journalists taking then-President Barack Obama’s marching orders in calling for a “new tone,” declaring words like “crosshairs” and the like would no longer be used in their reporting (while also falsely blaming Sarah Palin).

For instance, here was then-CNN anchor John King apologizing for a guest using the word:

Before we go to break, I want to make a quick point. We were just having a discussion about the Chicago mayoral race. Just a moment ago, my friend Andy Shaw, who now works for a good government group out there, used the term ‘in the crosshairs,’ in talking about the candidates out there. We’re trying- we’re trying to get away from that language.

There’s such an overinflated sense of self-importance in everything the media does, when they don’t realize that the most important thing they can do is to report on things truthfully, accurately, objectively and in context while letting the viewer/reader form their own opinions about the statements being made.

In one sense, KJP is right – context is important. But in the context of how the Democrats and the media refer to things Donald Trump says, they don’t give a royal rip about context, which is one big reason why trust in the media is at all time lows, something that is unlikely to change anytime soon.

Someone ask her why Isreal must show accountability for killing aid workers when no one was held accountable when aid worker and his children were droned in Afghanistan.

I don’t know how much she is paid, but she is underpaid. Having to invent new lies on every topic every day of the week must be exhausting, even for professional liars.

But, under no circumstances should you describe an actual bloodbath as a “bloodbath”.

Trump was told by libs he cant say bloodbath, so he doubles down by declaring the invasion Bidens bloodbath. Gotta admire his spunk.
