Representative Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) says taped depositions of January 6 star witness Cassidy Hutchinson and all other testifiers from the original January 6 Select Committee investigation are now missing. “I wrote a letter to Bennie Thompson asking for them and he confirmed that they did not preserve those tapes. He didn’t feel that they had to,” Rep. Loudermilk says. “But according to House rules, you have to preserve any data and any information and documents that are used in an official proceeding.”

Legal experts said errata sheets for congressional witnesses are common but usually are limited to technical or typographical errors. The experts who reviewed Hutchinson’s errata sheet dated Sept. 12, 2022 said it appears to make material changes to her stories.
“These aren’t ‘corrections.’ They constitute entirely new testimony that should be subjected to cross examination,” Harvard Law Professor Emeritus Alan Dershowitz told Just the News after reviewing the memo. Dershowitz represented Trump at his first impeachment trial where the 45th president was acquitted on charges related to Ukraine and did not have a role in the Jan. 6 impeachment.

If the interviews are unrecoverable then it becomes paramount that Speaker Johnson foam a new January 6 committee.
The pelosi committee was in place to create a coverup for the misdeeds of those who orchestrated the January 6 protest that morphed into a full blown riot.
Democrats cannot allow due process to follow through. Their political objectives cannot be achieved that way because their political objectives are mostly unconstitutional. If the rules are followed, they lose. Only through corrupt means and methods do Democrats prevail.
Considering there was no cross examination to begin with, that seems a moot point. However, it would be nice to know what the changes were and if perjury was committed.
