Prior to the debate in Cleveland all of Trump’s cadre and family in attendance were tested for COVID and all were negative.
…the Cleveland Clinic made one thing clear: every single person with credentials who went into the debate had to have a negative Wuhan coronavirus test.
And then in the next blink of an eye Trump, Melania and many of his staff are COVID positive. ALL of it is traced back to the Cleveland Clinic.
Officials for the City of Cleveland said 11 cases of the Wuhan coronavirus could be traced back to the Sept. 29 presidential debate. The cases were a result of debate pre-planning and set-up, with the majority of cases impacting out-of-state travelers, particularly debate organizers and members of the media.
The Cleveland Clinic said chances of infection were low
Before the event, the Cleveland Clinic, which oversaw the health and safety measures at the debate, said there was a very low risk level of exposure.
“Based on what we know about the virus and the safety measures we had in place, we believe there is low risk of exposure to our guests,” the Cleveland Clinic said in a statement before Tuesday’s debate.
There are some questions to be answered:
“In the event the person’s case stems from the debate, the individual will be asked: who they are employed by, who they were in contact with at the debate, how they got to the debate, how long they were there, if they did any traveling recently or attended any other mass gathering,” the city explained.
No one on Biden’s team is reported to be affected.
So how did this happen? Inquiring minds want to know.

It is absurd to claim Trumps team was not following protocols, they were. Anything else is a complete lie. They had to just to participate. The virus doesn’t care about masks and distancing etc. If the virus is around, the current protocols will help, but won’t completely insulate anyone from the virus. The result is so one sided, it is impossible to conclude this just bad luck. Contact tracing should reveal the culprit, as long as the White House does the work. The culprit who was deliberately trying to kill the President.

We had a local nurse volunteer (BTW, NEVER volunteer!) to go to NYCity to assist when that city’s covid cases were rising very fast.
She died of it.
And, from local TV interviews with her family, she always obeyed all the most stringent protocols.
Sh wore the best masks, had plenty of them, wore the gloves, the gowns, the booties.
She still died of covid 19 in NYCity.
IF health care professionals can catch it and die from it, what chance do people have when alcohol, sanitizer and peroxide were in short supply?
And, IF someone did run a Deep State action against the Republican side of the debate crowd, there is no defense.
But, I look at the Rose Garden gathering for Amy Barrett and I see a never-Trumper Mike Lee unmasked and pawing everyone he can. He got covid officially right after this.
Look back at how rabidly Mike Lee opposed Trump, before the man won the election. Is he any more trustworthy than Mitt Romney or the globalist republicans in Utah? I wouldn’t shake hands with any of them.
I posed this same question some days ago. I find it odd that over the past 6 months, aside from a random infection here and there, there was no outbreak in the President’s staff. Apparently their precautions were adequate. Then, suddenly, just as Barrett confirmation was nearing and the campaign heating up (with Biden unable to take the heat), there is this outbreak. When asked how I could believe Democrats would do such a thing, I asked them to provide an example of the Democrat’s character that would rule out any such actions. Russian collusion? Quid pro quo? Impeachment? Spygate? Gen. Flynn? There is NOTHING so low the Democrats would not employ it.

It seems more logical to go back to the Barrett announcement ceremony, but supposedly everyone there had been pre-tested/screened too.
Maybe they were trying to target Barrett without knowing she had already had Covid and recovered.

How long after you come into contact with the virus do you show symptoms? We were initially told it could show up for fourteen days. Trump’s behavior has put his staff and supporters at risk. It has resulted in three days in Walter Reed, current confinement to the White House, and over a dozen in his circle coming up COVID-19 positive. Thirty days before the election, his campaign manager is infected.
There might be something here to learn from observation. Namely, that masks and social distancing actually do reduce the odds of infection, while the opposite behavior has the opposite effect. This is a case of reality validating common sense expectations. It’s not like this has been the only example. It’s just the one that’s most in the spotlight.
Nobody wants to wear a mask or avoid normal social contact. Sometimes we have to do what we would rather not do, for our own benefit and the benefit of others.
