End this impeachment farce ASAP. Dare dems to start another

Loading

It was quite the day yesterday. Adam Schiff bored the living hell out of the Senate and the country. He went on spewing lie and lie after lie, noted on CNN

Schiff’s mendacity is noted even by Chris Wallace

Jerry Nadler essentially accused GOP Senators of treason, alienating the jury. It was so bad that Justice John Roberts told them to dial it back.

The democrat circus is to go on for two more days. Schiff began repeating himself endlessly after a while. It was so bad he had to reach back for his Russian collusion fantasy. He offered nothing new. He did at one point seem to lose his mind when he warned that the Russians could attack and invade US soil.

“As one witness put it during our impeachment inquiry, the United States aids Ukraine and her people so that we can fight Russia over there, and we don’t have to fight Russia here,” Schiff said, drawing rebukes from commentators across the political spectrum.

SMH. Ukraine is so vital that obama withheld lethal aid for three years and left it to Trump to actually send anti-tank missiles.

This impeachment is based entirely on innuendo and smear. It’s a Kavanaugh redux. Dems find “evidence” and “witnesses” they for some reason could not find previously.

Anyway, after this torture has ended, the GOP impeachment managers and lawyers take over. IMO what they should do is dissect each and every lie uttered by Schiff and his cohorts.

The Senate operates on rules of evidence, unlike the House. No hearsay.

The GOP should strip away every extraneous nonfactual bit including all of the testimony from other than fact witnesses and then boil this down to what it is.

Trump facing two articles of impeachment- one is for his seeking relief from the courts and the other is for exerting executive privilege. Neither is a crime.

Both articles are unconstitutional. The GOP lawyers should right then and there demand a summary judgment to dismiss and this nonsense should end. Period.

Then McConnell should suggest that if dems are still unhappy, they should start another impeachment process and try to get the witnesses they claim to so desperately want. They had their opportunity to have all the witnesses they wanted and they chose not to pursue it. It is not the responsibility of the Senate to correct their failures.

It is said that at least 75% are going to be unpersuaded by this charade.

In what has to be one of the most frightening things I’ve seen in a long time, Adam Schiff asserted that democrats will attempt to deny Americans their right to vote. (And I thought he was already crazy)

“For precisely this reason, the president’s misconduct cannot be decided at the ballot box,”

Yet I do remember someone saying something like this:

democrats have done literally nothing for the country over the last three years. Let them continue on that path. Let the democrats begin anew and see how much appetite the country has for more of their idiocy.

Now let’s see what’s really going on.

This is democrats’ last, best chance to undo an election. For the country’s and future Presidents’ sake, you best hope they fail.

DJ, this impeachment isn’t over even when it’s over.

All the obstruction that you guys chanted “should have been taken to court” are still being taken to court. The tons of new evidence released from the time of impeachment to the time of the cover-up is still out there and unanswered for. And in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act lawsuit, the American Oversight has just received 1000s of new emails from the White House budget office showing that on the day Trump pressuring Zelensky and Trump admin scrambling to justify denying aid. White House officials were still working to justify withholding congressional approved funding.

There was a lot of merit in Schiff’s question at the cover-up: “The truth is going to come out. The only question is: Do you want to hear it now? Do you want to know the full truth now?”

Trump’s acquittal at the GOP cover-up will simply be winning a small battle, not the war to come.

In closing, I will reiterate: No one at RedState has received any photos of Adam Schiff at Ed Buck’s drug den and we are not in contact with Jacob Wohl or Jack Burkman about any such photos.

So begins a conspiracy theory that Schiff had to destroy all the real evidence in the Impeachment trial that they will lose.

Buck “hires” the men for “party and play” activities in which he force feeds them meth, binds them, sometimes tortures them with hand tools, and basically rapes them. Two men died of overdoses in his West Hollywood apartment and a third man nearly died before the Los Angeles DA’s office finally arrested the monster.

Dem donor and friend of Adam of course.

To recap, Trump gave Ukraine a meeting, the funding, no investigations were launched, declassified the meeting, and offered to go to let the courts decide on executive privilege, and you impeached based on an overheard phone call and the fact that you were in a hurry?

Why are we laughing so hard?

@DrJohn:

I read once where 10% of the college educated electorate thought that Judge Judy was a supreme court justice. There’s considerable difference trying to go back 30 years on Kavanaugh (R) than the overwhelming evidence the GOP is intentionally blocking against Trump. Plus, there was no Kavanaugh (R) election, just a shear power grab to his unprecedented seating. Best I recall, he was seated in Oct 2018. How’d that go over Nov 2018, taking into consideration the number of vulnerable Dems?

Another factor, I believe, is that voters had accepted the idea of sexual predictors and the vagina grabbing like in power. And yes, many people will still support Trump regardless of the cover-up.

I’m actually thinking more in terms of about 4 vulnerable senators who are going to have to answer to their constituents for their cover-up votes, particularly as more damning evidence unfolds and even more so if the courts allow it.

Many moving parts my friend.

@DrJohn: They find provisional ballots after Republicans win too. In trunks of cars, bathrooms ect…
memoryholeblog.org/2018/11/13/ballot-boxes-marked-provisional-discovered-in-rental-car

Next time they start one they might have a Senate majority—because republicans aren’t taking this one seriously enough to allow a real trial to be conducted, and a majority of voters are smart enough to know it.

@DrJohn:

Long term, while I’m optimistic, considering the democratic voter disenfranchising of the high court and Dem purging and supressing of GOP controlled states, McConnell donor installed voting machines, the GOP welcoming of Russia to manipulate our voting process, the vast disinformation machine of Fox, ANON, et al, and the rapidly seating of young plutocratic and corporately owned judges, your point has some validity.

I don’t however see Rs coming out ahead on this one.

@Ronald J. Ward: Sure 2 days after 50K peaceful respectful 2nd amendment rally attendees marched in the capitol of Virginia the Democrats passed the red flag law, I think the citizens are tired of Democrats ignoring the voters that pay their salaries.
Thats exactly what got Trump elected, you be hopeful with eyes wide shut bitterly clinging to your ideology.

@DrJohn:

If he’s innocent, blocking testimony from those having direct first-hand knowledge and blocking all related Executive Branch notes and documents shouldn’t be necessary. A trial where such witness testimony and documents are readily available but have have all been blocked by the defendant is a mockery of the entire process.

This will be a very easy point to make. I think republicans are setting themselves up for trouble by not taking the charges and the prescribed constitutional process seriously.

@kitt:

You, Nathon, and now Dr John keep selling this gloom and doom of Democrats and it’s puzzling trying to guess where you get it.

If polls were in your favor, I would understand your glee. I also understand that with polls against you (The latest Reuters/Ipsos AP-NORC Center for Public Affairs, CNN, Fox, Pew Research all saying most Americans want to see Trump removed from office and 63% to 70% say he’s committed corrupt crimes) you would flatly reject them so I know that part doesn’t matter.

Trump entered office as the most unpopular president ever elected with a 3 million voter loss against an extremely unpopular opponent (believe it or not, I didn’t even vote for her but here in KY, it was more of a protest write in). In his 3 years, most of the suburban workers who felt left behind, are still feeling left behind. Wages are still stagnate, diary farms are drying up, manufacturing jobs are on the decline, infrastructure turned out to be a dud, his promise of ridding lobbyist in government turned out to be a welcoming mat for them, The tax scam proved to be just that, and while he lies and lies and lies of his fantasized accomplishments, he hasn’t delivered.

I’m not getting into the specifics of all of that with you regulars because 1) I already have and 2) you’re proven hacks, but the point is, Trump has not widened his base and this impeachment has not only failed to give him a bump but by all appearances, seems to have exposed not only him but his entire party as corrupt.

Other than the above voter suppression and Russia welcoming, I just don’t see where you come up with this notion that the GOP is winning.

@Greg: How can we take it seriously, Schiff is saying that there is a conspiracy theory that Ukraine hacked the DNC, that was no ones theory ever. The DNC knew that there would be a call to have the server examined by our intelligence not crowdstrike a company hired by the DNC. So the server vanishes, the connection to Ukraine only being the co owner. Schiff is lying over and over about this, calling it debunked as it was never the theory how can it be a debunked one?
https://thedailycoin.org/2017/03/24/crowdstrike-firm-hired-dnc-ties-hillary-clinton-ukrainian-billionaire-google/
No when Schiff spews lies we are not taking him seriously, the Senate shouldnt bother with requests from the courts on subpoenas that the House failed to get.

@Ronald J. Ward: Damn boy you need to be on the House managers team with that last post its lie after lie.
Lowest unemployment in over 1/2 century wages not stagnant but the lowest paid getting better wage hikes

https://www.cnbc.com/2019/03/13/workers-at-lower-end-of-pay-scale-getting-most-benefit-from-rising-wages.html.
They are not being forced up by government but market driven, competition driven.
If you come out of your mamas basement perhaps you will see billboards offering jobs. Apply within signs in the windows of smaller businesses, I bet even you could get a job, holding that job is up to you not the benevolent government.
Thanks for tossing your vote into the shitter then bitching about the results.
Same as the house Management tossed their investigation into the shitter now bitch about the results.

@Greg: Same talking points! No one has to prove their innocence in this country except when accused by Democrats. People are considered innocence until proven guilty. You are getting mixed up with the country you want to live in with the USA. I guess you finally admitted you are a commi-socialist and want to turn this country into one.

@DrJohn:

If you have to lie, it’s over.

That’s surely satire.@kitt:
We’ve been through all this before and just from recollection, seems like you blamed it on farmers for buying too many expediences tractors. If that were true, John Deere and Case International wouldn’t be feeling the brunt.

Your highlighting feel good soundbites and regurgitating what Trump’s selling at his clan rallies. Stock market’s doing great but it ain’t hitting back home at the auto repair shop or Mon and Pop’s diner who are not even feeling any relief, but are also picking up the tab of Trump’s trade wars. They’re force into Trump socialism by having their $ confiscated and handed over to farmers and Amazon who pay $0 taxes. Nothing’s changed for them.

You’re obviously listening to Trump who happens to be an impulsive and uncontrollable liar. Otherwise, maybe you can tell me why you think dems are in so much trouble-other than what you heard from Trump or Sean Hannity.

@Ronald J, Ward: You are not looking. Every where I have been and everyone I have talked to who have small businesses are booming. Look at the housing market. We can not find a carpenter to do small jobs. They are working on building. Who do you think feeds these people? Who do you think repairs their cars? I tried to get a fender fixed and have to wait for a month. You as usual do not know what you are talking about. You just spout B S talking points (Berni Sanders)

@Randy:

Not talking points by friend, you’re just not getting it.

The work is out there but it just isn’t paying anything. Any modest gains in raises have been gobbled up by increases in cost from Trump’s trade wars and his socialism of giving our money to farmers and such. The tax scam went to the top, not to the workers.

Trump promised to help the working man. He lied. A few examples:

1. Weakening workplace safety protections for offshore drilling workers on 12/29/2017
2. Signing a tax bill into law that tilts the tax system further against workers 12/22/17
3. Limiting workers’ ability to decide with whom they want to form a union 12/15/17
4. Making it harder for workers to bargain over their working conditions 12/14/17.

10. Endangering the retirement investments of working families by signing a EO on February 3, 2017
11. Halting EEOC equal pay data collection 8/29/17
12. Signed into law a to block customers from filing class action lawsuits against banks 11/02/17

17. Undermining the quality and pay of apprenticeship programs on June 2017.
18. Switching sides in Supreme Court case limiting workers’ right to sue. June 2017
19. Proposing a budget that would slash funding for job training. May 2017
20. Cut important programs for coal miners and their communities
despite his promise to support coal communities.
21. Attempting to make it harder for people with disabilities to work, again going against his campaign promises.
22. Rolled back rules on wage theft in June 2017.
23 Rolled back rules of. exposing farmworkers to toxic pesticides in Jan 2017, again lying about his campaign promises.
24. Making it harder for workers to save for retirement in May 2017 by signing legislation to repeal Obama-era guidance that helped cities and states set up retirement savings plans for workers who didn’t have access to employer-provided plans. .
25. Weakened protections for construction workers in April 2017.
26. Signing Exec Order in April 2017 letting lawbreakers off the hook for safety violations
27. More weakened laws exposing farmworkers to toxic pesticides
on March 29, 2017.
28. Has awarded $billions in federal contracts to employers who have violated wage laws.
29. His March 2019, threatens workers by slashing funding for programs that protect workers’ rights and access to services.
30. Weakened payday lender rules in order to screw the poor 2/6/2019
31.Allowed employers to classify workers as contractors in order to end benefits and overtime 1/25/19
32.Again going after employee’s tips on 2/15/19
33. Exempted seasonal workers from federal wage hikes on 9/25/18.
34. Proposed regulations to weaken radiation protection of workers on April 2018
35. Making it easier to buy out employee pensions in March 2019

41. Promised to cut social security and Medicare 1/22/20
42. Proposed budget cut of $500 billion in Medicare March 2020

You see, these are the folks I get out and talk to, the coal miners in eastern KY demanding their paychecks after getting screwed out of (don’t forget Trump’s response during the debates when asked about stiffing contractors and workers out of their pay for a jobs well done: “that’s called good business”).

I’m seeing the folks picking up on that reality. I have no clue what you’re seeing.

@Ronald J. Ward: Provide this source.

@Ronald J, Ward: So how do farmers go bankrupt without debt? The price of equipment is only one factor. look at the approval ratings for trump with farmers that have been getting screwed by democrat trade policies and trade agreements for years.
I linked to 2 liberal leaning sources of wages and jobs I know reading and comprehending is not your thing. Understanding economics for those pushing socialism is certainly not found.

It is you repeating soundbites without every trying to find out what the actual facts are.

Compare Joe Biden to Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, John Kasich, even Hillary Clinton.
Candidate Donald Trump buzzed thru all of these with no trouble at all.
Who really thinks he was so scared of Joe (Sleepy Joe, One Percent Joe) Biden that he felt he had to skew the election?
I mean, Joe makes multiple gaffes PER DAY!
President Trump would chew Joe up and spit him out were he to really end up as the Dem candidate.
Of course, he won’t.
Joe will drop out.
He’s only in because Dems need him as part of the “narrative.”

@Randy:

@Ronald J. Ward: Provide this source

I’ve come to learn source and links mean nothing here. I gave the dates which gives you a reference.

@Randy: @kitt:

You’re missing the point. I agree that many thought their god Trump was going to be their savior. I agree that his base is by and large rock solid-that shooting on 5th Ave thing. And many are going to be reluctant in admitting that they screwed up by voting for a known liar, con man, and thief. Even the 2nd admin enthusiast were unmoved when he said take away guns prior to due process. And of course, the Neo-Nazis and KKK are going to be there no matter what.

My point is that 3 yrs after being elected the least popular ever and losing by 3 million of the popular vote to an opponent most everyone hated, he’s coming up short on not only by expanding his base but losing a slight amount. Consider those who strongly are concerned about climate change, the LBGT group, those concerned with the middle east, even the Evangelicals as we saw in the CT editorial. And now by every poll and measure, he is losing ground on his cover-up of bribing the Ukraine government.

I’m just not seeing this bump in the GOP you guys claim. And other than “trump says”, you’re not providing much.

@Ronald J. Ward: 5th Ave thing. 5th Ave thing. 5th Ave thing. 5th Ave thing. 5th Ave thing. 5th Ave thing. 5th Ave thing. 5th Ave thing. 5th Ave thing. 5th Ave thing. 5th Ave thing. 5th Ave thing. 5th Ave thing. 5th Ave thing. 5th Ave thing. 5th Ave thing. 5th Ave thing. 5th Ave thing. 5th Ave thing. 5th Ave thing. He never shot anyone, He never shot anyone He never shot anyone He never shot anyone He never shot anyone He never shot anyone He never shot anyone He never shot anyone He never shot anyone He never shot anyone He never shot anyone He never shot anyone He never shot anyone .
Democrats at Trumps rallys over 20% The fact that 58% of attendees at a Trump rally in Wisconsin were either Democrats or Independents is significant. Very significant. Ignore the facts, these are fun rallys and the democrats cant draw arena filling crowds with overflow.

@kitt:

So you’re using his clan rally attendance as a barometer of his reelectability?

@Ronald J. Ward: Yup, oh you do know Bernie boy that the Clan is a Democrat NGO. The “Klanbake” 1924 Democratic Party National Convention. The 1924 Democratic National Convention, also called the “Klanbake”, held at the Madison Square Garden in New York City from June 24 to July 9, 1924, took a record 103 ballots to nominate a presidential candidate.
Just in case your professor never educated you in facts.
Gulags were bad places where thousands died.

@kitt:

I’m actually just trying to capture whatever it is you’re trying to say but that seems to be a rather tall order.

You ramble on and on and on about how Trump didn’t shoot anyone to my comment of: “I agree that his base is by and large rock solid-that shooting on 5th Ave thing.” You then try to rationalize Trump’s popularity based on his road show traveling accolades by bringing up Klanbake and DNC conventions dating back a century ago.

I do recall you tending to get this way in the early evenings.

@Ronald J. Ward: I know you cant follow. You asked our basis but dont like the answer. Your insane old repetition of the 5th avenue thing. You call a GOP rally a clan gathering, I know you have no basis so I remind you who the clan is, this fact must cause great pain in your tiny brain.
There is no solid evidence for the impeachment and this waste of taxpayer paid trial should end.

@kitt: The people that provide AJ with his thoughts haven’t told him the difference between fact and hyperbole yet.

@kitt:
Your insistence with no evidence is inconsistent with the majority of Americans as well as the evidence we see and hear with our very own eyes and ears. Even Fox News acknowledges that. And the more evidence that comes to light, the louder the die hard Trump enablers cry that there’s no evidence and insist on ending any confirmation of that evidence, all while advocating the actual covering up and hiding of that evidence.

You are on the side of protecting Trump and his lies, whatever they may be or become. My argument is simply that it’s contrary to the majority, thus invalidating the claim that it will ultimately hurt Democrats.

@Ronald J. Ward: Is English a second language for you? If not, then I have great difficulty understanding how you believe that the HoR Dems are telling the truth at the Senate trial. Maybe you should listen a little more closely.

@Ronald J. Ward: Gee, I’d like to see that Fox News acknowledgement of the legitimate evidence the Democrats have. Think you could provide that?

As a bonus, provide those “lies” of Trump’s.

@Randy:

I’d wager I’ve followed this cover-up much closer and from more sources than you. You have the same access as I do but as you mention above, can’t see it without a link. The Republicans have the same information as the Democrats but rather than respond with a rational rebuttal, won’t allow us to see or hear it. That speaks volumes.

Most every poll or analysis indicates around 72% believe there should be witnesses- 84% Ds and even 69% Rs. So we’re always going to have that 20%-30% of flat earthers who think the sun revolves around the earth.

In many ways, this is simply a repeat in history of Republicans and Fox News conning the American people. Iraq didn’t attack us on 911, Saddam didn’t have WMD, there were never any death panels out to euthanize grandma and Down Syndrome babies, ACA never created long lines or drove doctors overseas, Russia did interfere with our election, nobody is coming to take your guns, and Trump withheld congressional approved funding to a foreign government in exchange for their help in his reelection by digging up dirt on his electoral opponent.

@Ronald J. Ward:

Your insistence with no evidence is inconsistent with the majority of Americans as well as the evidence we see and hear with our very own eyes and ears.

You don’t speak for other Americans, *sshole. And the “the MAJORITY thinks this way” bullsh*t response doesn’t work.

No they don’t.

I have no issue with Trump being impeached for something real. You and your party have not presented something either clear or truly damning.

You are on the side of protecting the misinformation machine of the Democrats, which is being hopelessly dismantled by Trump. THAT’S WHAT I WANT. THAT’S WHY I VOTED FOR HIM.

The Dems have so thoroughly destroyed their credibility in carrying out any kind of investigation or allegations, so I think you need to think about who’s enabling who.

The Obama Era, and all the loosely held power it had, is gone. Time for you and your party to move on, too, and stop trying to defend the corruption of these fools in Congress and beyond.

And you don’t understand how your self-described internationalization all melts into childish garbage when you hit on your same old points of “Trump could kill babies in the street” and all that.

The charges against Trump aren’t strong enough, and those perpetrating have demonstrated a moral slide into complete relativism…as they will say anything to get Trump out.

Just as you say this isn’t over for Trump, it isn’t over for your party and the numerous people getting rich from the Ukraine.

Lost aid money…and suddenly all these installed family members (Pelosi, Kerry, Podesta, Biden) are getting rich.

Sound’s like money laundering to me.

If Biden et al don’t have anything to hide, why wouldn’t they take the stand?

hahahaha…

@Nathan Blue:

You don’t speak for other Americans, *sshole. And the “the MAJORITY thinks this way” bullsh*t response doesn’t work.

Never claimed nor do I intend to. I’m simply giving statistics based on multiple sources.

No they don’t.

And you do speak for other Americans? You’re only providing your opinion along with either debunked and/or irrelevant talking points.

The charges against Trump aren’t strong enough, and those perpetrating have demonstrated a moral slide into complete relativism…as they will say anything to get Trump out.

That’s a silly argument because much like this scam cover-up of a trial, it’s just saying “Trump is innocent because we said so”. The biggest downfall and what will come back to haunt the GOP is that they’ve refused to allow testimony, evidence, and witnesses that would validate that. There are documents waiting to be presented, witnesses willing to testify which should be what every trial is about-getting to the truth.

Trump and Rs are literally telling Americans that they are not allowed to see or hear that evidence while telling us he is innocent simply on their say-so.

And I do understand that you and FA are party to that cover-up.

@Ronald J. Ward: Just wondering (again) if Democrats are being so consistently honest, what happened to all the EVIDENCE they SWORE they had that PROVED Trump colluded with Russians? It all just evaporated when the Mueller report was released. And, with all the evidence they have a their disposal, WHY did Schiff choose to LIE about what Trump said in his phone call, about meeting with the “whistle blower”, meeting with Zelensky or the Parnas “evidence”?

The republican rebuttal…

There’s that, and their other argument: Trump is innocent and the impeachment is a farce because the economy booming* and we’re rolling in money.

*New cult mantra: Trump is innocent, Biden is the crook, and a one-trillion-dollar-per-year deficit doesn’t matter. Repeat 10 times whenever doubts arise.

Here’s another image to file under A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words.

@Greg: The image of Trump in the much larger chair as your distinguished Congressman Hank Guam Johnson described. Nice, did the ever get all the duct tape goo off Zelinsky’s daughter?

@kitt, #39:

I’ve always been curious about where Donald buys his extra-extra-extra-long neck ties.

Don’t forget to tune in Uncle Rudy’s Propaganda Podcast beginning later today…

Sure, he’s got THIS EVIDENCE, given to him by THESE TWO PEOPLE—one of whom might be identified—but he won’t present it in a formal setting or testify about it under oath. He says he’s working as Trump’s personal attorney, but Trump isn’t paying him. Somebody sure as hell is.

The man is a tool.

@Greg: And greggie, do not forget the FISA violations that made the Mueller investigations void!

Networks decide, now that the Republican argument is starting, on not air the proceedings. But, nothing BIASED about the media or anything

@Greg: Biden IS the criminal; he admitted it on video.

@Greg:

I’ve always been curious about where Donald buys his extra-extra-extra-long neck ties.

At least we are spared from having a President who wears Family Dollar table cloths as dresses. The SS dont have to wear Little Trees car air fresheners cleverly disguised as hanging name badges.

When even the FOX and Friends crew are raising their eyebrows, you know Rudy has a credibility problem. The same video is being presented elsewhere on YouTube with their skepticism edited out. I’ll give FOX credit for putting it all up on YouTube without such alterations.

Saying something is true doesn’t make it so. Claiming you have the evidence to prove it isn’t the same as actually presenting the evidence. Running your mouth on television or a podcast isn’t the same as testifying under oath.

Democrats are making their case by presenting known facts and the sworn testimony they have managed to collect despite White House obstruction. Republicans are trying to counter that with a media disinformation blitz presented by clowns like Giuliani, none of whom they will allow to speak or be questioned under oath.

Rudy and his fishnet stockings would be a big hit in the prison system.

We need to remind ourselves: this entire thing started because Dems, thru Eric C. thought they had some kind of goods on Trump that could take him down.
After all the real call seemed to be so sensitive it was placed on a secure server!
That allowed Eric C. to make up anything he wanted!
Later, just after Trump had released the transcript of the call, Schiff, too, made up all sorts of crap as if it had been on the call.

But Pres Trump’s placement of that call’s transcript onto a secure server actually protected him from leakers.

After Eric and Adam Schiff both put their feet deep into their mouths people saw for themselves that this whole impeachment thing was based on lies, much like the Kavanaugh accusers.

For reasons unknown the House Dems have doubled down on impeachment.
Is it to hurt some GOP Senators in vulnerable states?
Is it to try to taint Trump all the way to November?
Is it to please (or maybe get rid of) the Squad?
To cover up the fact that Jerry Nadler, Zoe Lofgren, Hakeem Jeffries all OPPOSED lethal aid to Ukraine when they had a chance to vote for it! https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/01/23/joni-ernst-several-democrat-house-impeachment-managers-voted-against-lethal-aid-for-ukraine/

@Greg:

Saying something is true doesn’t make it so. Claiming you have the evidence to prove it isn’t the same as actually presenting the evidence.

Wow. And yet that is the entire substance of Democrats’ accusations. You might want to let them know about your latest epiphany because they are really making fools of themselves.

Hakeem Ahmabeegfugginliar is saying Trump put the phone call in a secret file to keep all the nastiness hidden (you know… the same call that he DECLASSIFIED and RELEASED that had nothing criminal in it). No, Hakeem, that was do e to keep the Obama hold-over scumbags from leaking confidential conversations as they had previously.

Let us know when you have something other than lies.

@Deplorable Me, #47:

And yet that is the entire substance of Democrats’ accusations.

No, that IS NOT the entire substance of the case for removing Donald Trump from office, as anyone who has been watching the presentations of facts and testimony in the Senate for the last few days will realize.

Trump’s Ukrainian scheme has served his own interests and those of Vladimir Putin to a far greater degree than those of the United States—assuming that it served our own nation to any degree whatsoever.

Republicans can’t state one damn thing that this has done to benefit our own nation, without falling back on references to the bullshit conspiracy Rudy Giuliani was sent to Ukraine to cook up. They’re using an assertion of the truth of a conspiracy theory to rationalize extortion undertaken to advance the conspiracy theory itself. This is the best they can come up with?

While there’s not a shred of evidence supporting the assertion that Ukraine, not Russia, interfered with the 2016 election—a story which U.S. intelligence told the Senate had originated with Russian sources—nor a shred of evidence supporting any of Giuliani’s claims about Biden, Trump has had to lock down over a dozen witnesses with first-hand knowledge of the scheme and volumes of Executive Branch notes and documents to cover his own butt.

Every Senate republican who allows the Senate trial to conclude without those people being heard from and those documents being considered will become complicit in an obvious White House cover up. They can take that with them to the November elections.

@Greg: Actually greggie, there is quite a lot of proof if you care to examine it. You still fail to get it. Biden is dirty! Has been for a long time. Even Obama was concerned about the Bidens being so bold in cashing in on the Ukrainian foreign aid. Just what has Trump gained from the Ukraine?

@Greg: If one thing can be accomplished, I hope that the IMF and USAID are investigated. Too easily used as slush funds for the political elite and favored NGOs.See what happens when they are sent actual supplies for assistance. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/puerto-rico-supplies-warehouse-governor-wanda-vazquez-fires-2-more-officials-over-viral-video-showing-aid-2020-01-19/
