It is time to investigate this traitorous President for being a Russian asset

It is time for Congress to really take action and investigate whether the President acted on behalf of Russia. The President took highly visible and borderline traitorous actions for the benefit of the Soviet Union. Some of the actions were clearly meant to be kept under wraps but fell into the public light. Some actions were taken very early in the Presidency. The left wing press should also be very interested in this as a precedent.

I am talking about President Barack Obama.

One of the early things Obama did as President was to appease Vladimir Putin by removing the missile shield from Poland.

Barack Obama has abandoned the controversial Pentagon plan to build a missile defence system in Europe that had long soured relations with Russia.

In one of the sharpest breaks yet with the policies of the Bush administration, Obama said the new approach would offer “stronger, swifter and smarter” defence for the US and its allies. He said it would focus on the threat posed by Iran’s short- and medium-range missiles, rather than its intercontinental nuclear capabilities.

“…a missile defence system in Europe that had long soured relations with Russia.”

He wanted better relations with Russia. He was placating Putin.

It hardly ended there. In 2010 Obama’s Secretary of State said that the administration goal was to “strengthen Russia.”

Obama’s administration oversaw the sale of 20% control of US uranium to Putin.

In 2012 Obama beat Mitt Romey over the head with rhetoric that basically argued Russia was our BFF.

“Gov. Romney, I’m glad you recognize al-Qaeda is a threat, because a few months ago when you were asked what is the biggest geopolitical group facing America, you said Russia — not al-Qaeda. And the 1980’s are now calling to ask for their foreign policy back — because the Cold War has been over for 20 years. But Governor, when it comes to our foreign policy, you seem to want to import the foreign policies of the 1980’s, just like the social policy of the 1950’s, and the economic policies of the 1920’s.

Again, a full throated defense of Russia.

Then, he promised to be more flexible for Putin:

In 2014 Russia annexed the Crimea and Obama stood down for his BFF Putin.

In 2014 something else happened. Barack Obama was informed that the Russians intended to interfere with the coming election.

The Obama administration received multiple warnings from national security officials between 2014 and 2016 that the Kremlin was ramping up its intelligence operations and building disinformation networks it could use to disrupt the U.S. political system, according to more than half a dozen current and former officials.

As early as 2014, the administration received a report that quoted a well-connected Russian source as saying that the Kremlin was building a disinformation arm that could be used to interfere in Western democracies. The report, according to an official familiar with it, included a quote from theRussian source telling U.S. officials in Moscow, “You have no idea how extensive these networks are in Europe … and in the U.S., Russia has penetrated media organizations, lobbying firms, political parties, governments and militaries in all of these places.”

That report was circulated among the National Security Council, intelligence agencies and the State Department via secure email and cable in the spring of 2014 as part of a larger assessment of Russian intentions in Ukraine, the official said.

And Obama did…..nothing.

POLITICO spoke with more than a dozen current and former officials from across the national security spectrum, including intelligence agencies, the State Department and the Pentagon. Almost all said they were aware of Russia’s aggressive cyberespionage and disinformation campaigns — especially after the dramatic Russian attempt to hack Ukrainian elections in 2014 — but felt that either the White House or key agencies were unwilling to act forcefully to counter the Russian actions.

Not only did Obama do nothing, he made sure no one else did anything

The Mueller report flatly states that Russia began interfering in American democracy in 2014. Over the next couple of years, the effort blossomed into a robust attempt to interfere in our 2016 presidential election. The Obama administration knew this was going on and yet did nothing. In 2016, Obama’s National Security Adviser Susan Rice told her staff to “stand down” and “knock it off” as they drew up plans to “strike back” against the Russians, according to an account from Michael Isikoff and David Corn in their book “Russian Roulette: The Inside Story of Putin’s War on America and the Election of Donald Trump”.

Throughout his tenure as President Barack Obama consistently acted as a Russian asset. He failed to protect the 2016 election from Russian interference.

His actions are nothing short of treasonous and this demands that a Special Prosecutor be appointed to investigate.

It is amazing that those who watched in reverent silence as Obama kow-towed to Putin at every opportunity denounce Trump as a “Putin puppet” for destroying his military assets in Syria, TRYING to get NATO on board in cutting off Putin’s petro-dollars, run his spies out of the country, oppose him in Venezuela and layer more and more sanctions on him. If ever there was an example of simple-minded people dutifully repeating the most anti-factual talking points, it is in the collusion theater of the absurd.

I dont think that they will truly investigate Barry. Cleaning out his shadow government should take priority. Time to take out the trash.

the radicalized muslin terrorist almost buried America. crooked hilary would have finished the job. I am surprised that foreign agents have not visited the terrorist or crooked hilary for a talk. racall that the left in press, senate, and the house were enamored with the first black pres. the left media never showed him leaving the briefing room on multiple occasions and kicking the exit door open.crapper and brennan were all part of the efforts to destroy Trump.

Putin loves all Democrats and Trump haters.

No foreign policy successes only failures (Iraq, Syria, Libya, ISIS etc.). On the domestic side, the worst economic record for growth of any President since WWII and in the top four for worst growth of any President period despite adding trillions to the debt. Cash for Clunkers and the “Stimulus Plan” were failures. His signature “accomplishment” was Obamacare which failed to perform as advertised and should have been declared unconstitutional. Now we can add the biggest abuse of presidential powers in history to the mix. Ah the messiah. He probably doesn’t have to worry about going to jail for sedition, but his precious legacy wll be tarnished for good.

@lyn:

Putin loves all Democrats and Trump haters.

How do you figure?

@Michael: because they are communists.

@CaptMorgan: All Democrats and Trump-haters are communists?

@Michael: Hey everybody, look!!!

Cathy Newman couldn’t find a job, so she hijacked “Michael”s posts!

“So what you are saying, Michael, is that Obama is a Communist?”

“No, I’m saying all non-Democrats agree that all Democrats and Trump-haters are communists…haha! I was good in middle school debate team, you know!”

Maybe you should be focused on finding a viable Democrat candidate for 2024? It’s never too early…

I don’t understand what point you’re trying to make here.

@Michael:

I don’t understand…

We know you don’t. That’s the point.

@CaptMorgan:

I think you may have just tipped your hand.

@Greg: More so, CaptMorgan exposed that you and Michael are oblivious to hyperbole when it suits your cause.

No fun, you two.

Bet you’re both single. Or…perhaps you’re a couple?

I’ll bet the idea is giving you a boner, isn’t it?
