June 1, 2017 President Trump stood at a White House podium and announced that he was standing up for America, for Americans, and for American jobs. He proved he was against the globalist, no-border crowd occupying much of California and New York, as well as Europe, as he withdrew from the Paris Climate Agreement. President Trump’s stand even drew Goldman Sachs CEO Loyd Blankfein out of his globalist closet long enough for his first tweet ever, stating “today’s decision is a setback for the environment and the U.S.’s leadership position in the world.”
The simple fact that the control agent of the world’s banking system, Goldman Sachs, is so vocal against the President’s decision should convince you that it’s the right decision for all Americans, even those who don’t support it and don’t really know why.
We’re now in for more boring and too often catatonic flailing from the MSM which will assert that the world is ending, that Miami will drown as a direct result of the decision, and that our children will have no air to breathe.
Goldman Sachs would benefit hundreds of billions of dollars as it would deliver and “manage” the system that would be at the heart of the engines which would control the cash redistribution – cash moving from the U.S. taxpayers to African and Asian countries. There is much cash to be made in the carbon tax and climate change industry.
But, you say, the U.S. pollutes less today than it has in a century, and in fact has made greater strides than any major country to clean-up its air. Doesn’t matter to the globalists, propagandists and their convenient faithful. With emotion, anger, and self-righteous indignation, we will be told that America, the world’s industrial leader, must be punished for having polluted the air for a century, as well as for having been a colonialist. Apparently, African countries cannot join the developed world because America polluted the air, and changed the climate in Africa. The unfounded arguments and assertions will be are absurd as all of the over-the-top lies we have been treated to since President Trump was elected — more self-hatred coming from the left. Argue with them and you’ll automatically be accused of racism – guaranteed. Try it.
There is little point in insisting that Obama has no right to enter America into such a Treaty without Congressional approval. It serves little to indicate that America and American taxpayers cannot afford to enter into such a totally unbalanced and senseless agreement.
Globalists seek to move power away from America, and place in a remote location like Brussels, where foreigners can decide the fate of Americans.
Trump today stood up and said NO. Well done Mr. President.
A constituent of the vast baby boomer generation with a career which has been fortunate to know the ponderous corporate worlds, as well as the intimately pressurized, and invigorating entrepreneurial domains of high tech and venture capital, I have harvested my share of mistakes meandering through corridors of enterprise from Silicon Valley, to London and endless, colourful, sometimes praetorian points in between. The voyage has provided an abundance of fodder for a pen yielding to an inquisitive keyboard, a foraging mind, and a passionate spirit.
Whether political or business or social or economic or personal, is it not all political? It is a privilege to write, and an even greater privilege to be read by anyone, and sometimes with the wind at my back the writing may occasionally be legible. I do not write to invite scorn, nor to invite respect, but if I get really lucky the writing can stimulate thinking. I also write for the very selfish purpose of animating my own processes, and engaging the best of what life offers. Above all, whether biting fire or swatting shadows, I am grateful to be gifted the freedom to write and publish whatever flows down to the keyboard. To all those who enabled this freedom, and to all those standing guard to preserve it, I am indebted.

This was an agreement between Obama and liberals of other nationalities. Obama is gone and so is this meaningless and bogus “agreement” which was to have meant so much wealth to so many conniving liberals.
Get ready if you live anywhere near the ocean the level are about to rise bigly. The liberal tears from erasing another Obama brainfart surely will cause flooding. Cronies set to skim the most cash out of this will be bawling the hardest.
Considering how highly Pres Trump seems to place daughter Ivanka and her husband, Jared, I was pleasantly surprised when he turned his back on those two globalists and kept his word to the American people on this Paris agreement.
Did either of them even show up for his speech?
Think we’re bad? Just look at what those pesky Minoans did to the Earth’s climate. It must have been the fabric in their sails or something.

What scientists are actually predicting is a slowly accelerating increase in drought, expanding areas desertification and a progressive loss of agricultural land, the loss of Arctic ice and the Greenland ice sheet, a gradual rise of sea level that will adversely affect heavily populated, low-lying coastal areas, loss of coral reefs with serious disruption of oceanic ecosystems, and a continuing acceleration of the mass species extinction that is already well underway. Tropical and subtropical diseases will slowly spread northward into temperate areas, along with invasive species affecting the world’s temperate forests and agriculture. “Slowly” will only be in the context of a single human lifetime. On a longer scale, this will all be happening in the blink of an eye.
Climate change is already having enormous human consequences in arid regions. Consider Syria, for example. We tend to imagine war and mass population displacement are entirely a matter of politics and religion. In fact, a major contributor to all that has followed has been the worst drought in 900 years.
The Department of Defense has been taking climate change into account in its long-term planning for well over a decade, knowing full well that there will be serious consequences.
Pretending it isn’t real isn’t going to make it go away. It’s going to make it all worse.
@kitt: #2,
Kitt, the U.S. has done an incredible job of cleaning its effluence, whether into the air, or into the ocean, or into the earth.
We can, we should, we will continue that trend, however, what we hear from from the trolls and globalist propagandists is that America will now be responsible for cataclysmic disasters. Senior bankers are at the head of that line. They’ve never cared for the taxpayer, and aren’t about to change their ways soon, will all of the demented adherents they’ve created.
@Nanny G: #3,
Nanny G, I’m amazed that none of the whiners are ignoring the fact that in this treaty, the world has placed the financial burden squarely on the back of America’s taxpayers, plus will not move the polluters to clean-up their acts.
@Greg: We had a drought in Texas… it broke. We had a drought in California… it broke. We have droughts… always have, always will. And, they always come to an end.
The war in Syria is a result of the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood and Obama’s support of it.
The next climate-panic prediction to come to pass will be the first.
Wait to see Trump be declared a Climate Crinimal by the granola munchers/tree huggers wait for Mad Madame Maxine(Waters)and his little spoiled snot bucket(Robert Kennedy Jr)to be demanding his impeachment for standing up for america and against the Useless Nations and their One World Goverment
@Bill… Deplorable Me: #8,
Bill… Deplorable Me, . . . and please don’t raise the spectre of the Maunder Minimum’s re-emergence — their heads cannot take the pressure.
@James Raider: No one thinks we should crap up the planet. Billions spent on the science that doesn’t prove anything and nothing on engineering real solutions that will not negatively affect our lifestyles. CO2 is not a pollutant they are nutz.
@kitt, #11:
Calling CO2 a pollutant is a means of misdirection; an effort to make the science seem silly, by pretending it’s being equated with toxic, noxious emissions. It’s a propaganda tactic.
CO2 is a natural greenhouse gas. It adsorbs solar energy reflected off the Earth’s surface that would otherwise be radiated back out into space. It helps keep the Earth warm.
When you increase atmospheric CO2 levels, heat retention is increased as a consequence. This is the result of well understood physical process.
Why would anyone believe turning billions upon billions of metric tons of fossil carbon back into carbon dioxide and releasing it into the planet’s atmosphere would not result in global warming? Does that not run contrary to logic and common sense? Whatever the effect of all other natural variables affecting planetary temperature might be, we’re adding that additional man-made change to them.
@Greg: If CO2 is so deadly and harmful, why do so many liberals pour out so much as they go about their wealthy, entitled lives, even thousands of tons of it going to and from “climate conferences”? Or, do climate-believing liberals actually HATE the environment?
so how many active volcanos does the earth currently have producing tons of CO2 hourly?
@Bill… Deplorable Me: #13,
Bill . . . Deplorable Me,
Like Walt Disney CEO Robert Iger who guaranteed himself some bonus dollars by Firing IT staff and replacing them with, ” immigrants on temporary visas for highly skilled technical workers, who were brought in by an outsourcing firm based in India.”
@Bill… Deplorable Me, #13:
Kindly refer back to post #12. Specifically:
“Deadly” and “harmful” are more of the same. It’s an effort to direct the discussion away from the relevant facts and the real issues.
Did you see Scott Pruitt’s repeated evasions of the press conference question, Does the President believe today that climate change is a hoax? The way this administration dodges direct questions is utterly pathetic.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYPS9tsxdYQ
@Greg: So, that’s my option rather than expecting an answer?
The exchange below took place:
Rosie O’Donnell said to Jake Tapper: ” proper response is to “say no to the a–holes, easy.”
Jake Tapper obliged her request, replying to O’Donnell, “OK: no.”
Isn’t that great?
@Greg: It’s quite clear that you don’t understand how nature works.
Because they understand how the world operates and they’re not idiots.
The earth atmosphere stays in balance. Humans breathe Oxygen and expel carbon dioxide. plants breathe CO2 and expel Oxygen. Guess what would happen if either of these two processes did not take place. If too much CO2 begins to build up, the trees grow faster and consume more of it and expel more O2 which balances the atmosphere. If the atmosphere starts to heat up a little too much, plants grow faster and consume more co2 which then lowers the temp and slows the growth to keep it in balance. That’s why when morons like Algore say the polar ice caps are going to melt, he’s forgetting that the trees are growing faster and is going to consume that CO2 and make more ice form. Isn’t it strange to you that the atmosphere had no problems staying in balance without humans for millions of years and now we think a few humans are going to change the atmosphere. What a helluva ego to think a human can change the atmosphere on the earth. Even with the thousands of atomic bombs that have been exploded, what is the net effect on the earth? Nutting. Leonardo Da Veenche flew in a private plane, 11000 miles, spewing CO2 to accept an award for reducing Co2 and then flying 11000 miles back on a private plane, again, spewing CO2. Do you think he is ‘serious’ about the problem?
@Greg: If he says, “yes, there’s climate change” (and it’s 100% likely there is – normal planetary behaviour), they’ll pillory him for not “doing anything about it”. If he says “no there isn’t”, they’ll pillory him for being a “denier” and point to all their phony data.
Those screeching the loudest are those who planned to profit. Any surprise? No point in arguing “science” anymore. This hasn’t been about science for at least a decade. If they try, change the subject to “cui bono”.
@James Raider: you have to understand that with Disney, you’re dealing with someone that raised the prices of admission by 20% just to reduce the crowds at the parks. They weren’t getting more for their money, just being fleeced more.
@Bill… Deplorable Me:
Bill, I really like that statement. In fact, let’s give Greggie and any other lib that wants to jump in on it to name the first environmental catastrophe to take place. When will New York be submerged? When will the Polar ice cap actually be melted. When will Anarctica ice cap be back down to normal levels. When will the CO2 overwhelm the O2 and all humans will die? I’m sure Greg is still concerned that there is no more snow on Mount Kilamanjaro, right?
Let’s hear your prediction Greg.
@Greg: We would not exist without C02 plants require it. There has been more of it in our atmosphere in the past. Climate changes, we have had ice ages, the Sahara had plants , elephants and gazelles. Huge floods huge droughts. Gore is a whore he as made more money from alarmism and his predictions that are complete lies, the polar bears are still here. He doesnt care about the planet, he has a yuge carbon footprint.
I am sick to death of those arrogant self serving assholes saying I cant run a 2 cycle lawn mower as they jet around the planet with fleets of cars eating from banquets of exotic foods shipped in from all over the planet. Only to return to their mega mansions and write a book or make a film how I can save the planet by recycling my soda can, change my lightbulb type, and live without AC.
Look to engineers to save the planet create things that clean factory effluents stop throwing good money after bad the climate “scientists” are not helping, worried about methane from mega farms give them grants to create electricity with it, warm their buildings. No CO2 will not kill the planet, it makes my flowers grow, they in turn make O2.
@Redteam, #19:
The main thing wrong with that balancing theory is that it simply isn’t happening, as this NASA graph of measured atmospheric CO2 levels clearly demonstrate. The chart is based on direct measurements of atmospheric CO2 levels going back over 400,000 years, taken from bubbles that were trapped in Arctic ice core samples. Only in very recent times has the upward trajectory of the plot line gone vertical and stayed that way. Current levels are far higher than they’ve been at any other time in the last 400,000 years, and are climbing faster than at any other point in that time frame.
@Redteam: The problem is that liberals never mind being proven wrong or caught in a lie. Their total lack of principles and morals helps them with that. It’s how they can accuse anyone that doesn’t join the chorus of idiots lamenting planetary doom as being anti-science while they are basing their entire position of the voodoo climate alarmists use to marshal support.
@Greg:
Temperature fluctuations and CO2 emissions do not coincide
In 1610, CO2 levels dipped deeply; temperatures didn’t
Historical warming periods; just like now. Before CO2
New paper says only 4% of CO2 increase is due to fossil fuels
http://hockeyschtick.blogspot.com/2014/07/new-paper-finds-only-375-of-atmospheric.html
Research shows climate less sensitive to CO2 than models suggest
A one time the following was the “consensus”.
It seems man is a creature of doomsday predictions. Climate change just the latest. There have been many others. History is always a great read.
The withdrawal of the non binding Paris accord is just the latest thing for the left to whine about. I just don’t see the rich lefties changing their lifestyles to help the planet.
@Greg: I did not name CO2 a pollutant, the EPA did, so the EPA is trying to make the “Pseudo Science” look silly? Or was it just another reason to apply more regulations on an already over regulated society? Hey just 2 more layers of government control to Paradise, so lets add Paris and the UN to set idiot rules for the USA too. What was in the non-treaty was going to create paradise, and how much was China and India going to pay for that, as they are the biggest polluters?
In Heal’s estimates, the Paris Climate Agreement cost would total to $1.3 – $5 trillion. We dont have that money. and even if we did its ours to spend on us, if that hurts their widdle fweelings too bad so sad.
Greggie Greggie Greggie, as an environmental expert I thought you would applaud President Trump for really doing something about the real climate change issues facing our nation. That is, Political Climate. He has changed it from a dictator that made his own laws and lifted his middle finger to congress to returning the balance of power back to the people!! Also, without China and India needing to do anything for 13 years is what I call a bad deal for our environment if your into that sort of crap. Reality is Greggie, Slick told coal workers that their strategy was to put them out of work. How’d that and the deplorable strategy work during the last election cycle Greggie??
I’m curious how many of you reactionary deniers favor
1} creationism vs evolution 2) Bryant vs Darrow.
3) Obama birth Hawaii vs elsewhere
Thanks RW
@Richard Wheeler: Why? Does that make the climate scam seem more real to you?
@Richard Wheeler: I asked the questions–you can answer or ignore. Join DT who refuses to answer ” Is global warming/climate change a hoax.”
To that question–my emphatic answer is no.
@Bill… Deplorable Me, #25:
What’s your point? That you can come up with three cranks in the pocket of the fossil fuel industry and related special interests for every 97 climate scientists who politely note that they’re spreading a load of manure?
Dr David Evans is an electrical engineer. His hobby is apparently cranking out specious climate change denial articles for fun and profit. He has frequently made claims that just aren’t true. He’s married to Jo “Nova,” a television presenter and owner of the webste his global warming denial articles often appear on. Nova receives funding from the Heartland Institute and the Science and Public Policy Institute.
The Heartland Institute is a purveyor of disinformation on a variety of topics, and an advocate of anti-environmentalism and climate change denial. During the 1990s they were paid by the tobacco industry to promote information casting doubts on the connections between tobacco smoking, cancer, and heart disease. Whatever else the Heartland Institute might be, they’re a reliable tool of special interests, and have a long history of collecting money to work against public interests.
Who funds the Science and Public Policy Institute is uncertain. The organization is not registered with the IRS. It’s not really much of an “institute.” It claims a few associated people, but has no physical address and seems to consist mostly of one person—Robert Ferguson—who gathers up and reissue anti-climate change articles and reports found elsewhere.
@Greg: And Obama is a community organizer, yet you worship his words as if he knows what he is talking about. Again, your entire mythology of climate alarmism is based on fake science, failed models and reconfigured data. Yet, those who don’t believe it are in some sort of irrational denial?
@Richard Wheeler: Your question is a tangent; the last thing liberals want to do is discuss the facts.
@Richard Wheeler: Climate Change is not a hoax, our climate changes. Is man made climate change a hoax, yes I believe it is because man’s contribution to climate has never been quantified as a science. Global warming is one of those made up terms that liberals use to get their base all revved up.
@Richard Wheeler: Creationism versus evolution is made up comparison. I believe in both and that’s logical. I could care less where Obola was born so no need to answer, it’s as worn out as his failed presidency which his only legacy is black racism. Now let me ask you one Rich, did Donald Trump win the last election? Is Obolacare a failure?? Did Obola like to America about it to get elected??
@Bill… Deplorable Me: Facts –it’s you deniers that can’t handle the facts.
Trump a “leader” You gotta be kidding
Common Sense You call those answers?
@Richard Wheeler: Well, here’s a fact; your global warming cult is based on manipulated data, intentionally faulty computer models, intimidation and lies. It took true leadership to reject going along with the liberal crowd (with their hands out) and rely on facts.
@kitt:
And you would know that better than any tidal gauge on th eplanet?
How???
@Richard Wheeler:
You’ll have to let us know when your move date is and what part of the country you decide to settle down in.
http://www.cbsnews.com/news/emmanuel-macron-invites-americans-france-trump-decision-paris-accord/
The funniest line of the week, from Putin, of all people:
@Greg: What a dumb shit. You disagree with my statement then link to a graph that proves my point exactly. do you see some cycles in concentration of CO 2 over the hundreds of thousands of year? Let’s take a period and examine it. Look at 350K years ago to 300K years ago when CO 2 went from 180 up to 300. got that? Okay, which country was responsible for most of that increase? What was the race of the people involved in that increase? What were they specifically doing that raised the CO 2 that much? Oh, and then look it did it again from 250K to 200K years ago and then again about 150K to 100K years ago? Which countries were doing that and what were the people doing to cause those increases. Oh and then look, about 15K years ago it started up again. Who did that? What types of cars were doing that polluting? Tell you what, there were no humans for most of those cycles, so if we had the cycles without humans, why are you stupid enough to think we wouldn’t continue to have cycles just as we always have? Isn’t that what I said that you disputed? That the presence of CO2 consuming plants and O2 Consuming entities will always balance each other out. So just to make it simple. Why was the CO 2 cycling with NO humans involved?
Footnote: Don’t give the total complete moron that wrote your article too much credit. For example he says: ” In 2013, CO2 levels surpassed 400 ppm for the first time in recorded history.” Just curious, what period do you suppose he includes in that period of time. What years do you think he includes in ‘recorded history’. Do you think that the atmospheric content over Anarctica is representative of the rest of the earth? You have any proof one way or the other. I wouldn’t put so much faith in the work of morons.
@Greg: 24 Greg, let me help you out with something. Yeah I know I shouldn’t try to enlightened the unenlightenable, but here goes. On your chart of ‘historical’ CO 2, which was taken from pockets of air frozen in ice in Anarctica, note that the ‘cycles’ are relatively constant. But then, to find a “world average’ CO 2 level we take a day trip to Mauna Loa, Hawaii, one of the areas of the globe with consistently high Co 2 levels because it has constant eruptions of volcanos and compare that with Anarctica which has the lowest average CO2 levels on the globe because there is no volcanos or O2 consuming plant, therefore not generating CO 2. And then you lay that phony BS science on poor little dumb ass liberals, well, what the hell do you expect. You might as well have invited them to jump into one of those volcanos. AS old Abe said you can fool some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time, but liberals don’t understand the difference. (or maybe that was Yogi)
Tell us what the average CO2 content in air frozen in the Anarctica over the last 20 years and see what that shows. Ok sport?
@Richard Wheeler:
Easy, he was hatched.
@Richard Wheeler:
It’s obvious you are not a scientist and don’t have a clue.
@Greg:
Don’t you have any self respect? Did you read that crap. He says A It’s clearly a B He says it’s hot Clearly it’s cold He says it’s up clearly its down. He says it’s sweet Clearly it’s sour.
Clearly you are dumb as a post He’s says ‘hey, you’re right’ Uh, well……
@Redteam, #45:
I’m sorry you’re having difficulty processing what the items in the reference mean.
Basically, Skeptical Science has listed 16 of Dr Evan’s climate assertions and demonstrated why each one is incorrect, providing links to factual information to back their assessment up.
Dr. Evans is a purveyor of misinformation.
@Greg:
As are you, so I’m sure what anyone cares what you say or think.
@Greg:
he didn’t ‘demonstrate’ a damn thing, he just made the opposite statement. You say up, I say down. You sure are struggling with that concept, aren’t you?
@Redteam, #48:
Maybe you failed to notice that those blue-font comments in the What the Science Says column are links you can click on, which will take you to lengthy explanations of why Dr. Evans is talking through his hat. Each is far more than just making the opposite statement. If you want to look at each discussion under the Advanced tab, you’ll find presentations of the supporting data.
@Greg: Hey Greg, I finally figured out an example that I think you might get. Here goes: If you live in Omaha and you take a dump in your bathroom, do you think the stink level goes up at anarctica the same amount as it does in Omaha or in your bathroom? Do you think if you took a stink level at anarctica and in your bathroom and averaged the two, that would represent the stink level for the entire earth?
That’s the absurdity you are dealing with in taking a CO2 level in a volcano and saying that represents the CO2 level in anarctica 300K years ago. I can’t make you understand that, I don’t really expect you to as there is no chance you ever will. You’ve clearly demonstrated over time that anything scientific is way over your head. You only believe liberal politics. (Don’t forget to turn the exhaust fan off to avoid polluting the world)
