poisonous fruit

The fruits of liberalism have ripened and are now being harvested in several cities across the nation. The wretched Obama administration has set its sights on police in this nation and the returns are coming in. Following the Michael Brown shooting and the evidence supported Darren Wilson’s account of the incident Eric Holder and his race Nazis at the DOJ goose stepped all over the Ferguson Police Department demanding a “wholesale change.” Holder said he was prepared to “dismantle” the Ferguson PD.

In Cleveland a judge found a police officer not guilty in the shooting of two:

A Cleveland police officer was acquitted Saturday for his role in the 2012 fatal shooting of two unarmed people in a car after officers mistook the sound of the car backfiring as gunshots.

After a four-week trial, a judge found Michael Brelo, 31, not guilty of two counts of felony voluntary manslaughter in the deaths of Timothy Russell, 43, and Malissa Williams, 30. Russell and Williams were killed Nov. 29, 2012, after they led 62 police vehicles on a chase across Cleveland.

“The state did not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant Michael Brelo knowingly caused the deaths of Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams, because the essential element of causation was not proved for both counts,” Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge John P. O’Donnell said in his ruling.

The DOJ’s response was to launch another investigation into the Cleveland PD. They found that the Cleveland PD actually used force against criminals.

The DOJ isn’t even waiting for the outcome of the Freddie Gray shooting in Baltimore. It has launched another investigation, this time into the Baltimore PD.

On face value it appears that any time a black person is shot or dies the DOJ will rain down on the heads of the local police department.

Between Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake’s stupidity and Marilyn Mosby’s over-reaching grandstanding, the Baltimore PD is miserable.

The spike in crime and decrease in arrests in Baltimore since the death of Freddie Gray is the partial result of low morale among the police force, an anonymous city cop told CNN.

The 12-year veteran said of officers’ morale: “It’s in the sewers. It’s down. It’s the worst I have seen in my career.”

He said that officers have slowed their response to 911 calls. And when they do answer, they often travel in groups of three or four out of fear for their safety and of being accused of wrongdoing.

They have reason to be afraid. It’s open season on cops. Obama and Holder have cut the ribbon. Cop deaths were up 56% in 2014. Police nationwide are in a pickle. On the one hand they know that they are targets right now. Cops have been killed very recently in New York, New Orleans, Mississippi, Nebraska and New Mexico. On the other hand, cops also know that if they are forced into engaging in a firefight, the Obama DOJ Nazis will be all over them like the stink of corruption on a Clinton. Obama has consistently sided with the suspects against the police.

This is not going unnoticed by the bad guys. They had quite a holiday weekend.

Baltimore:

29 shootings, 9 dead.

Chicago:

44 shot, 12 dead.

New York:

In DeBlasio’s New York you’re 45% more likely to be murdered.

Murders are way up so far this year in Manhattan, The Post has learned.

Sixteen people were killed around the borough between the first of the year and Sunday. Over the same period last year, the figure was 11. That’s an increase of about 45 percent.

Shootings in the borough have also soared.

There have been 50 “shooting incidents’’ since Jan. 1, compared with 31 in the same time period in 2014 — an increase of about 38 percent. Some of these “incidents’’ involved more than one victim.

The number of shooting victims nearly doubled, from 33 to 61.

St. Louis:

After seeing crime drop sharply in the first half of 2014, St. Louis saw a steep rise in violence in several neighborhoods as protests grew, following the shooting death of Michael Brown in nearby Ferguson by police officer Darren Wilson. By year’s end, St. Louis logged 157 homicides, the city’s highest yearly toll since 2008.

The problem has persisted this year as well: Homicides went up 6% for the first quarter of 2015 compared with the same period last year.

Police are afraid- afraid for their lives and afraid to do their jobs because they’re being attacked while the a**holes in the White House and in the state offices don’t have their backs but they do have the backs of those who need “space to destroy.”

The violence, the killings- these are the poisonous fruits of liberalism. Hate cops? Great. Enjoy living without them. Watch as the social fabric of these cities is torn asunder. America has bitten into the poisonous fruit of liberalism and now we all see the consequences.

Don’t forget to thank a liberal on your way out of town.

New York’s police had to travel in threes or more, too recently.
So, the cash from tickets and fines plummeted.
Now NY is in a pickle.
Meanwhile what I used to see in So Cal informally is becoming policy….namely that POOR people won’t have to pay tickets, fines or penalties.
THEY can ride around in cars with NO insurance, OLD license plate registrations, outstanding tickets and warrants with no fear from police.
http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/05/24/jerry-brown-pushes-traffic-debt-amnesty-for-poor-its-a-hellhole-of-desperation/
But don’t you try it if you were BORN here!
Don’t try it if you have two nickles to rub together.
The avaricious cities and counties will be sending their police to trap you!
They still need all that cash and now have fewer drivers to get it from!

A total of 137 shots fired directly into a car occupied by an unarmed black couple after the car backfired—15 point blank by the officer in question, who was standing on the hood…

Incidents such as this one might explain why police in some areas are losing the support of the communities they’re policing.

@Greg:
Read the whole story, Greg. I did

@RJW:

Utter nonsense. I have no opinion vis-Ă -vis Baltimore but you’ve already convicted the cops. I am waiting for the facts as I waited in the Martin and Brown incidents before I offered an opinion. Your statement is emblematic of what makes liberals so poisonous. I martialed facts. You simply opined.

@Greg: The hatred of the police, which has materialized itself in the shooting and killing of numerous cops, naturally causes them to become edgy, especially in certain areas and when confronting black suspects.

You have your own ideologically driven leaders to thank for that condition, Greg. The left is not happy unless it is stirring up hatred by on group of another. Obama has been busy at this ever since the Henry Gates episode.

Classic fascism.

@Greg: Greggie Greggie Greggie, you need to listen to the judge present the verdict and maybe you would understand how JUSTICE works!! Liberalism causes riots, looting, destruction of private property when JUSTICE is rendered!! You got a better way then by all means bring it forward. Certainly the liberals solution for health care has failed and the solution for Justice is clearly not the answer either!!

@Greg:
Lets just remove all cops from these inner cities and see how that works out. Let the natives self police. Then I suggest you move to one of these areas and enjoy your new life of police free bliss.

DR J read the whole story and then tell the WHOLE truth.
Yes in 2014 police shootings went way up from the year before BUT ……….. after “sky rocketing” it then only reached the average number for the previous decade. You didn’t tell anyone that 2014 was really just an average yearly total, and that 2013 was abnormally low. Why not ? trying to fool us. sorry didn’t work. I hope that you weren’t that sloppy in all of those published articles that you claim.
Dr J you have to know by now that I always check back to cited primary sources

Liberals won in Los Angeles County where the minimum wage is going up to $15/hr soon.
Workers rejoiced.
But today, unions insisted on an exemption from that for its own workers!
http://www.vox.com/2015/5/27/8670529/la-union-exemption-minimum-wage
Recall, if you will, how it was labor unions, pretending to be fast food workers who pushed this law through to begin with.
Both the Left and the Right must deride them for this move.

@Bill, #5:

What about the hatred people on the right are constantly trying to stir up toward liberals? I think you’re looking at your own reflections.

@Greg:

What about the hatred people on the right are constantly trying to stir up toward liberals? I think you’re looking at your own reflections.

Such as what, Greg? Pointing out how the left uses false charges of racism to stir up hate, incite violence which results in injury and death? Pointing out how the left lies about how conservatives consider the poor as an excuse to raise taxes and keep more people in indentured poverty? Pointing out how Obama has lied his way into office, acted un-Constitutionally to diminish individual rights, wreck the economy and imperil national security?

You have argued long and hard for false points, Greg. These false points always attempt to indict Republicans and conservatives for liberal failures, making some of the most vile accusations. While the left accused Bush of lying and war crimes, even as we had troops in harm’s way, with Democrat leaders calling him a liar and declaring wars lost, we are now somehow supposed to hold the worst President in United States history in high esteem…. because you leftists don’t think it’s nice to criticize his lies and failures.

I don’t think the vampiric left even casts a reflection.

You have argued long and hard for false points, Greg. These false points always attempt to indict Republicans and conservatives for liberal failures, making some of the most vile accusations.

Vile accusations? Perhaps you’ll provide a few examples.

Keep in mind that a accusation of having done a vile thing isn’t quite the same thing as a vile accusation—particularly when there’s credible evidence supporting the claim.

For example, torturing prisoners is a vile thing; there’s nothing vile about making the accusation when what was done can be proven to be true.

What bothers you most about Abu Ghraib? What went on there, or the fact that accusations were publicly made about it and then backed up with evidence? Show me anything that even remotely approaches that level of vileness that has taken place since Obama took office.

@Greg: How about when liberal wackos like you accused Bush of lying and therefore people dying?? Can’t be more vile than that Greggie!! Bush did NOT lie and if you have proof that he did I want to see it!! Also you fail to acknowledge then that the 70 Democrats who saw the same data lied as well!!

@Greg:

Vile accusations? Perhaps you’ll provide a few examples.

Well, you started out by listing one yourself… “torture”. Let’s see, what others…. racism, Benghazi, lying to go to war, war on women, war on gays, war on the poor, Congressional obstruction, government shut down, the economy, national security, foreign policy, illegal immigration, disrespecting Obama due to race, the IRS scandal, Fast and Furious….

In other words, Greg, whatever topic has appeared, you have taken a position based on lies placing sole blame for the situation on Republicans and/or conservatives. You utilize the tactic of hate to try and demonize and vilify the opposition and you base that tactic on lies.

What bothers me about Abu Ghraib? The fact that it happened. The fact that some of our more stupid personnel conducted themselves thus. What also bothers me about Abu Ghraib is how the left salivates at the opportunity to use it to place the blame for a low level incident entirely on Rumsfeld and the Bush administration. However, when it comes to the continuing pitiful economy, increasing racial tensions, Benghazi, the IRS scandal, the VA scandal, the Fast and Furious scandal, the debacle in Iraq, you and the rest of the idiotic left are perfectly happy to agree with Obama’s contention that he not only bears no responsibility for any of it, but he never knew about it until he read it in the papers, an activity he himself says he rarely does.

I’ll tell you something that is even more vile than that; the death of Chris Kyle, the brutal imprisonment of Tahmooressi and Hammer by the Mexicans, Hekmati imprisoned in Iran, all ignored by Obama and his administration while he lauds the deserter Bergdahl in the Rose Garden as a hero and trades 5 dangerous terrorist leaders for his return.

@Common Sense, #13:

How about when liberal wackos like you accused Bush of lying and therefore people dying?

I usually try not to be so blunt. When you’re that blunt, people become angry and cease thinking about what you’re actually saying.

Removing Saddam Hussein was a pre-9/11 neo-Con objective that Cheney took with him to the White House. After 9/11, the Bush administration deliberately built the case for a preemptive invasion of Iraq by presenting information supporting their assertion that the Saddam Hussein regime posed an imminent danger to the United States while totally ignoring or suppressing intelligence to the contrary.

There are certainly many people who characterize what they did as a lie. Whether it was or not probably depends on the extent to which they believed their own story. It’s clear that a lot of people did die as a result of what we did because of that story. It’s hard to argue that the long-term consequences have been positive. It’s now known that what has happened is a danger that our intelligence community issued a warning about before the invasion. It would have been a good thing to have openly discussed.

@Greg: No proof that he lied, nice try though!! Still a false accusation.

I’ve read the back and forth in the comments…what intrigues me is the liberals keep going back to the widely disproved argument that Bush ‘lied’…not to mention that many, many Democrats, Hillary for one, was ‘on board’ with BOTH FEET when it came to the discussion on Iraq. I have to ask…is that all they got?

Torturing of prisioners…for vital information…to win a war against Islamic Terrorists who hide behind a ‘religion’ to slaughter others…prisioners who went on to LIVE. vs. a Terrorist Enemy who holds US citizens as ‘captured prisioners’ then later methodically saws their heads off on video for their families to see.
Who do I ‘feel’ for more?…that’s a tough one, I guess. /sarc
