This is not the time for false accusations of racism.
There is no evidence at all that the tragic deaths of Chris Brown and Eric Garner were racially motivated.
There is nothing in the Chris Brown case that cries racism. The evidence was clear. Brown’s blood was found in and on Darren Wilson’s cruiser, Brown’s blood was found of Wilson’s service weapon, the weapon had been discharged in the cruiser, Wilson suffered facial contusions, Brown was not shot in the back, three eyewitnesses describe Brown as moving toward Wilson and there was a twenty foot blood trail leading toward Wilson’s position.
You can pick your own scenario that fits that evidence. I will bet you money that not one of those protesting Brown’s shooting know what the evidence is. Not a single one. I doubt that ten percent know that Brown robbed a store and assaulted its owner.

At around 1:40 you’ll notice a black female police sergeant monitoring the event apparently unconcerned by the tactics being employed to subdue Garner. Race was not a factor.
Those cops were doing what they were specifically instructed to do by Governor Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Bill Deblasio- enforce the cigarette tax laws. Garner was no newbie to this offense- he had been arrested eight times for selling untaxed cigarettes. FYI- Garner did not die from a “chokehold.” He had no damage to his trachea. Let’s be clear- someone who can say “I can’t breathe” numerous times can indeed breathe. That in no way suggests Garner deserved to die, but those cops did not intend for Garner to be harmed, only subdued. They could not know in advance that Garner was an inch away from a heart attack and that is most likely why the cop was not indicted. I do continue to wonder why they did not taze Garner. The problem is, that might just as well have killed him too.
Whatever else these cases are, race wasn’t a issue but President Barack Sharpton is not one to let a serious crisis go to waste. Thus rather than emphasizing the fact that these unfortunate events weren’t racial in nature Obama instead chooses to fan the flames of hatred. The problem is not people committing crimes- it’s the terrible cops:
“In many communities of color [people] have a sense that our laws are not always being enforced uniformly or fairly…”
Once Obama tapped Al Sharpton as his “go to guy” on race it became obvious that Obama is as big a huckster as is Sharpton. Coincidentally, today is the 19th anniversary of the riot at Freddie’s Fashion Mart that was incited by Obama’s ‘”go to guy” on race.’
The Sharpton-led protests began in August and came to a head on the morning of Friday, December 8th when Roland James Smith, Jr., who had been part of the Sharpton’s protests, walked into Freddy’s Fashion Mart, pulled out a gun, ordered all the black customers to leave, spilled paint thinner on several bins of clothing and set them on fire — a fire that resulted in killing 7 people plus Smith. The only African American left in the story was Freddy’s security guard Kareem Brunner, 22-years-old, who was ordered to stay by the mass murderer Smith.
Sharpton, September 9, 1995:
“I want to make it clear to the radio audience and to you here that we will not stand by and allow them to move this brother so that some white interloper can expand his business on 125th Street.”

Glenn Thrush penned an article for Politico in which he wrote:
It was a heady consultation for Sharpton, who spent years on the outside dreaming of a place in the pantheon of the civil rights leaders he revered as a teenage street preacher in Brooklyn, and it’s an irony lost on no one that his rise to White House adviser has come thanks to Barack Obama, whose restrained personal style couldn’t be any more different from Sharpton’s.

As we have noted here endlessly, one must pay no attention to what Obama says as his words are obsolete within 24 hours. One must watch what he does. Anointing Sharpton says more than anything Obama could ever say.
Obama chose to speak to his personal constituency alone when he went to BET and indict all of America:
“This is something that’s deeply rooted in our society, deeply rooted in our history.”
In raising issues of racism concomitantly with these two tragic events Barack Obama is doing a great disservice to America. He is perpetuating the myth that the police acted with racial malice in both. Obama undermines faith in police nationwide and paints targets on their backs for the protesters.
When the DOJ went to Ferguson, the goal was to be sure that residents learned to recognize and hate white privilege:
When Department of Justice officials arrived in Ferguson, Mo., one day after the death of Michael Brown, it wasn’t just to conduct an investigation on potential civil-rights violations. In fact, officials from one Justice Department office were conducting meetings with Ferguson residents to educate them on subjects such as “white privilege.”
The DOJ’s Community Relations Service arrived in Ferguson purportedly to lessen the tension between protesters and city officials. But sources who attended the DOJ’s private gatherings with Ferguson residents tell NRO that the Justice Department also sought to educate and question the community about the issues of white privilege and racism. The political nature of the Justice Department’s intervention in Ferguson may not be exclusive to its interactions with residents; it also might have affected its ongoing investigations into the Ferguson Police Department and officer Darren Wilson.
Meanwhile, Eric Holder has announced new guidelines for police. When searching for suspects they can no longer use race, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation.
All of this is making Obama no friends:
The poll finds that 50 percent of adults disapprove of Obama’s handling of race relations, while 40 percent approve. By contrast, in late August, shortly after the shooting death of Michael Brown, a black teenager, in Ferguson, 48 percent approved of Obama’s handling of race, while 40 percent disapproved.
The deaths of Eric Garner in Staten Island and Brown at the hands of white police officers sparked nationwide protests, after grand juries in both cases declined to issue indictments.Obama has announced funding for 50,000 body cameras for police and created a task force on police relations with the public.
“Too many Americans feel deep unfairness when it comes to the gap between our professed ideals and how laws are applied on a day-to-day basis,” Obama said last week.
He has also said that “police officers put their lives on the line for us every single day,” and urged protesters to be peaceful.
Obama’s approval on race relations has declined the most among black people, from 73 percent to 57 percent since August. Among white people, it has declined from 42 percent to 33 percent.
Remember this?
“I’m not the president of black America. I’m the president of the United States of America…”
Just as everything else Obama says, this wasn’t true either.
Encouraging unjustified violence and hatred is something you’d expect from a community organizer but it is terrible trait in a President- even if you don’t want a serious crisis to go to waste. Using Michael Brown and Eric Garner as tools with which to batter whites in the country and further an agenda based on a false premise is atrocious.
As John Kerry might say, how do you ask someone to be the first to die for a mistake?
