Well….CJ ruined the surprise for me. But even though the surprise is ruined I would like to welcome CJ as an author of Flopping Aces. He says we are scrapping the bottom of the barrel, I couldn’t disagree with him more. Getting a active member of our armed forces to take the time to write his thoughts out in a post for all of us read is anything but.
Anyways…I welcome you CJ into the FA family, and pray for you safe return from Afghanistan.
A brand new Flopping Aces icon will be coming your way soon.

CJ
I am writing to a Yazzie Sterling in Afghanistan. If you happen to meet him, tell him hello from a former Pennsylvania resident on his way to the northwest part of the USA.
Welcome C.J. My son-in-law David Shive is in Afghanistan now. Thank You for your service and I am looking forward to your perspective!
Welcome and all the best as one of our literary leaders. Hope you can stomach the UN better than i could.
Sorry about that. I guess I got trigger happy! 🙂
I love the icon!
I might be trigger-happy and ruining a surprise here as well, but CJ has an excellent interview in….*drum roll*……wait for it…….wait for it…….
The Daily Kos!
Awesome article CJ….love these qoutes:
Hey, CJ! Glad to see you’re writing again!
Soldiers Angels supports you all the way!
Thanks everyone. FA did an awesome jOb on the image too. I’m loving it.
My my, aren’t you the handsome devil icon, CJ…. LOL
Good, direct and to the point responses in the KOs piece. Every barrel has some bad apples. Just to sorry it’s used to taint the integrity of the entire barrel.
Cool Avatar. Who draws those?
@John Cooper: Sorry I missed this question John. All the artwork done on Flopping Aces, including the header, for the past 3+ years is done by Matt McKendrick. Great artist and owns FightCancerTees.com. You can find much of his work here also.
