Ahmadinejad Does His Clown Routine to Thunderous Applause

Loading

The Iranian President, whom our President has regarded as a key player in establishing Peace in the Middle East has made Obama appear to be a bumbling fool in the Carter tradition and received thunderous applause for his efforts from the international community at the the United Nations.

During his General Assembly address, the Iranian President called for a “U.N. fact finding group” to investigate 9/11.

He also said that ”the majority of the American people as well as most nations and politicians around the world” believe that “some segments within the U.S. government orchestrated the attack to reverse the declining of the American economy and its grips on the Middle East in order to save the Zionist regime.”

Before his speech, the Obama administration must have had high hopes that Ahmadinejad would have listened to the offers of diplomacy as presented by the administration and its allies on the Security Council. Members of the U.S. delegation remained in their seats. In years past, only what is called a “low-level note taker” has often been posted behind the little plastic “United States” sign, when Ahmadinejad took the stage.

On Tuesday, when Ahmadinejad spoke during the global summit on poverty, the American delegation remained even as he predicted the defeat of capitalism.

But true to form, he quickly went over the line with his 9/11 remarks and that prompted the U.S. diplomats, and others, to get up and walk out.

We can only assume that the United Nations endorses the typical Marxist handling of student dissenters that Obama declined to help: the torture, rape, and executions are a small price to pay for the establishment of a Socialist Dystopia where the ends always justify the means.

Now we this tyrant on our own soil, insulting our country in front of a corrupt association that US tax dollars support, that is the Progressive model for World governance: how long must we endure this shame? When will America say, take your corruption and install it in one of your crack pot cesspool countries and play Socialism there.

From Lenin, 1870- 1924:

The Social Democrat must ever forget that the proletariat will inevitably have to wage a class struggle for Socialism even against the most democratic and republican bourgeoisie and petty bourgeoisie.

The State And Revolution, Chapter 10

Ahmadinejad stressed the might of Iran and denied their intention to develop a nuclear bomb.

He insisted that his government does not want an atomic bomb — something he has said in the past — and that Iran is only seeking peace and a nuclear-weapons-free world. He repeatedly sidestepped questions on when Iran would resume talks on its disputed nuclear program, and he said anti-nuclear sanctions against his government would have no effect.

Appearing calm and self-assured on his seventh trip to the United States, the Iranian president showed every sign of being in command of himself and prepared to deflect questions about his government’s harsh suppression of opposition forces after last year’s disputed election that returned him to a second term.

“The United States’ administrations … must recognize that Iran is a big power,” he said. “Having said that, we consider ourselves to be a human force and a cultural power and hence a friend of other nations. We have never sought to dominate others or to violate the rights of any other country.

“Those who insist on having hostilities with us, kill and destroy the option of friendship with us in the future, which is unfortunate because it is clear the future belongs to Iran and that enmities will be fruitless.”

These people only wriggle for advantage until they have the opportunity to strike; Obama and Carter’s method of capitulation is seen as weakness to be exploited by these international thugs, it is time to withdraw from the UN and evict them.

What’s with the “appear to be a bumbling fool” ??

Reasons for the USA to stay in the UN:

(1)

But true to form, he quickly went over the line with his 9/11 remarks and that prompted the U.S. diplomats, and others, to get up and walk out

Well let’s not forget that those ‘others’ were delegates from all European Union nations as well as Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Costa Rica. And the UN doesn’t endorse every speech given at the UN.

I think it would be better if the UN was located outside of the US and that it was restricted to only democratic countries. However democratic countries still have to deal with totalitarian regimes like China who would stop such a move. Corruption is more likely to happen in non-democratic countries which in turn corrupts the UN.

Gaffa: I think it would be better if the UN was located outside of the US and that it was restricted to only democratic countries.

Self defeating to the “intent” of the UN, Gaffa. Were the UN an “echo chamber”, they are worthless for working out diplomatic approaches to global problems. As far as the location of the building, frankly I wish the UN were abolished… period. It is beyond corrupt, and light years away from their original purpose. There is no cleaning up that body.

Certainly there is need for int’l leaders and their pow wows. But the UN, in it’s current form, ain’t it. And they are so firmly entrenched in power and corruption, they will never yield such, nor allow it to return to function as envisioned in it’s more benign intent.

If I were in charge, I would give them a weeks notice and bulldoze that building. Let some other chumps start picking up the cost for them to bash and undercut the USA.

It is long past time for the U N to move to Geneva.
It is also long past time to put at the top of the agenda the funding of the U N.
My opinion is that there would be no U N, save for the automatic free pass for foreign spies (serving under diplomatic cover) to work out of New York City.
U N bureaucrats receive grossly inflated salaries.
We pay those salaries.
In return, they regularly savage us.
Let us pay our fair share, on a per capita basis.
Ha.
Let the U N go the way of the League of Nations.

LET them move out anywhere else, THE FREE world don’t need them,
except for being beg and harass, by the bullies of the WORLD,
the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA NEVER NEED THEM FOR DOING WHAT
THEY KNOW BEST, AND THEY also can win the war better without involvement from the UN,
and without their agreement to any STRATEGY OF WAR,
THE UN are waisting AMERICA’S time and money and resource, GET THEM OUT

Ahmadinejad’s role in Iran’s government is less important than either the role of the rulling Mullahs and the role of the Revolutionary Guard.

He is more like the Steve Colbert of Iran.
He couldn’t even authorize the freeing of an American prisoner (not this latest, the one before her).

He lacked the position of power to do that.

He acts as a diversionary clown while Iran arms itself and spreads its influence into
South America and Iraq and Syria.

Gee, he must be good, too.

Everybody stares at him and ignores what Iran is up to.

Ahmadinejad is a rodent. I pay no more attention to him than a chattereing squirrel. Like NanG says, he has no real power. The mullahs run that country. Ahmadinehjad is simply their current mascot and mouthpiece.

On a different note, I really like the photo, Skookum. The Iwo Jima Memorial is majestic and awe-inspiring. Everyone who can should pay it a visit.

@Toothfairy: I have been there and had someone take my picture saluting the Marines.

ToothFairy: HI, CHECK on top side how funny it is : you mention a rat, and right below I mention THE insects, but put them together,it’s hilarious, bye

I agree. Once you’ve been there, you’ll never forget. No picture can do it justice. I got chills walking around the monument and reading all the battles our Marines have fought in. You can really feel their presence there. It makes you proud.
