In February 2006, when Muslims around the world were at the peak of Murdering people over the Motoons, I offered a set of Ten Cartoonments, depicting Orthodox Islam’s systematic violation of the Ten Commandments.
I was hoping I could use the jihadists’ propensity for outrage to trick them into making an issue of this exposure of their constant violation of the proclaimed foundation of their own religion, undercutting them and using their own perverse energy to advance Islamic reform. My effort got no exposure, but the principle is sound.
Ever since 9/11, people of good will have been trying to distinguish between true Islam and the “false Islam” of al Qaeda. Few are willing to state the obvious: that this false Islam is ORTHODOX Islam.
The Sixth Commandment (sorry King James) translates from the Hebrew as: “Thou shalt not murder.” There is no clearer murder than Orthodox Islam’s death penalties for blasphemy and apostasy. Murder is any killing that is not in defense against violent attack or conspiracy to violent attack. Blasphemy and apostasy are mere ideological non-conformity, not violent threat. Then there are the Koran’s numerous commands to wage jihad (2.216), to slaughter (9.5), and to subjugate (9.29), all interpreted by orthodox Islam as universal edicts.
Orthodox Islam a murder cult, pure and simple, but orthodox Islam and true Islam are very different things. No contender for “true Islam” can possibly escape the Ten Commandments. Dozens of times the Koran condemns those who “forget the laws of Moses.” This is the founding stone of the religion, the point where the Koran both claims the God of Abraham and condemns the Jews for supposedly being unfaithful to that god. But the Jews were only accused of twisting the “allegorical” parts of the books of Moses, not the “basic parts” (Koran 3.2-7), and nothing is more basic than the Ten Commandments.
Orthodox Islam, with its systematic violation of the Ten Commandments, can only be a grotesquely false Islam, as complete a perversion of true Islam as it is possible to imagine. It is orthodox Islam that attacked America on 9/11, and it is orthodox Islam that must be reviled by every decent person.

My Ten Cartoonments piece is quite long, but worthwhile if you are interested in the possibilities for using Islamic texts to haul Islam up from a pre-Ten Commandments religion to a Ten Commandments religion, which is all that morality requires of Muslims. Stop committing murder, theft, covetry, adultery, false witness, idolatry, and every other Mosaic crime. Then we are fine. You can come on in, and please feel free to use your new-found freedom to waken your moral sense and start using your god-given brains.
Only by punishing all criticism with death has orthodox Islam been able to keep the lid on its systematic violation of the most fundamental laws of the God of Abraham. The twin death penalties for blasphemy and apostasy are orthodox Islam’s Berlin wall. The west can expose the un-Islamic perversity of this murder, but it is up to Muslims to “tear this wall down,” because THEY are the bricks. They must abandon orthodox Islam for true Abrahmic religion, one by one, or else burn, if there really is a Hell, and there should be a Hell, with special torment set aside for those who do evil in the name of God.
That is what it means to “take the lord’s name in vain.” You didn’t think orthodox Islam would miss violating one of the ten did you?

According to the Book of Numbers 31: 13-18, after Moses’ Jewish army has defeated the Midianites, Moses orders that all the remaining Midian men, women, and children be killed. The only ones to be spared were the young virgin girls, who were taken as sex slaves by the Jewish soldiers, as commanded by Moses.

“Sick stuff” is an apt description … of the idiocy that resides between Marcus’ ears. There are indeed some horrific acts of aggressive conquest and murder carried out by the Jews in the Old Testament, but these were singular acts, described as carrying out God’s command for the Jews to conquer the promised land. We all know that this behavior was typical of primitive societies. They waged brutal war for resources, including females. The Israelites recorded their own such behavior in their religious history.
This history is common to all peoples. Vikings raped, pillaged, thieved and murdered their way up and down the coast of Europe for centuries. The question for peoples today is whether this historic criminal behavior has been renounced. The Vikings converted to Christianity and gave up their murdering ways a thousand years ago. The Jews gave up violent conquest over two thousand years ago. Christians stopped fighting over religion after the invention of the printing press, when the faithful started reading their bibles for themselves and saw that they were supposed to love each other, not fight each other.
No so with Islam. Orthodox Islam is the ONLY religion that has enshrined pre-Ten-Commandments behavior as a universal standard going forward. Where Jews claim they were given permission by God to conquer the lands that they did once conquer, Islam claims an open ended command by God to use every kind of violence (including, specifically, terrorism) to conquer infidel lands, so long as there is anyone anywhere who remains unsubjugated.
My question is how anyone can possibly be foul-minded enough not to grasp the difference between having Viking ancestors and thinking that it is okay to rape, pillage and murder like a Viking today. I’d like to know more about this Marcus person. What is his ethnic background? His education? His politics? His religion? I’d like to know how it is possible for someone to be so impossibly stupid.
Marcus, nowadays most people reject a lot of the things that were done in Old Testament times. Except of course for certain Muslims who have taken the ugliness and refined it. Buzz off, Marcus. If the old Israelites had listened to Jehovah and wiped out all the Caananites it might be a better world today. They were too nice to the moon worshipers and let them breed.

Would that it were so. Two hundred years passed between the invention of the printing press and the Peace of Westphalia, and I think it’s fairer to say that it was the horrors of the Thirty Years’ War that ultimately compelled peace and a certain amount of tolerance even on the diehards. Not trying to nitpick so much as point out that if you actually use this rationale to try to construct a modern day analogy, it doesn’t point to the optimistic (Muslims need more internet access!) but rather to the pessimistic (they will see the light of reason only after their cities are leveled). We can hope that they are actually more sensible than the Europeans of four hundred years ago.

Going to find a few passages describing stuff that happened thousands of years ago and use that to rationalize your anti-semitism? Maybe something more recent like the writings of Maimonides or Spinoza would set you straight.
Of course it took time for direct access to the Bible to create widespread understanding of the actual teachings of Jesus, but ultimately its influence was overwhelming. This is what led to the libertarianism of the United States: the concept of Christian liberty, that being created in God’s image meant that we are inherently free to choose. This is foundation of natural right in Christian understanding, and it depends fundamentally on the New Testament where Christian’s are to be guided by the spirit of the law (to love your neighbor) instead of the letter of the law, bringing individual moral judgment fundamentally into the equation. Not that the Thirty Years war did not make people think twice as well.
Obviously the situation is very different with Islam. Islamic texts are full of instructions to slaughter infidels. It takes a very careful reading to see that, to not be self-contradictory (and the Koran insists many times that it contains no contradictions), these instructions must be seen as conditional on circumstances of defensive war. Otherwise they are murder, which is barred by Islam’s proclaimed allegiance to the Mosaic law. Add the centuries of Islamic jurisprudence in support of every violation of the Ten Commandments and, as we have see, exposure to Islamic texts tends to breed murderousness, not morality.
But we can attack that. It is not hard to demonstrate that the pre-Ten-Commandments religion of orthodox Islam is necessarily a false Islam, in that following its instructions will necessarily, according to the Koran itself, condemn its followers to Hell at every turn. Islam cannot possibly escape the Ten Commandments. Thus all we have to do is point out orthodox Islam’s systematic violation of the Ten Commandments and there is a chance to break its hold on the Islamic world. These primitive societies really do fear Hell. Show them that Hell is without-a-doubt where they are going if they follow orthodox teachings, and we have a chance to SCARE them away from pre-Ten-Commandments Islam.
