A former fetus, the “wordsmith from nantucket” was born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1968. Adopted at birth, wordsmith grew up a military brat. He achieved his B.A. in English from the University of California, Los Angeles (graduating in the top 97% of his class), where he also competed rings for the UCLA mens gymnastics team. The events of 9/11 woke him from his political slumber and malaise. Currently a personal trainer and gymnastics coach.

No, Wordsworth, I saw it…just felt that my dailies were better suited here. Also, some of them brought back some bad memories…on last April Fool’s Day, I ran my usual cartoon thread at Free Republic & at one other site (probably Wide Awakes). Without telling anyone, I’d been saving the most vile lefty cartoons for about a year & I unleashed them. A vocal minority didn’t see the humor in it (plus I wanted them to get a taste of the crap I had to wade through each day). After a short while, they pulled the thread…then they made it unbearable to continue posting the thread there…so I stopped. Although most appreciated the idea of that Apr. 1 thread, there were enough cries of outrage that will preclude me from doing anything like that again.
