Some of you may or may not know that the Weblog Awards are going on right now and I wanted to write a short note and beg, plead, conjole, the readers of Flopping Aces to vote for Hot Air for best blog. You may not believe they are the best blog around but it’s a two horse race between HA and Andrew Sullivan, and that nutcase should not win the thing.
Maybe next year we will get nominated for something. Best blog thong maybe?

FiveThirtyEight looks like a lock for best political coverage. Nate was only 0.6% off his popular vote prediction for the 2008 Presidential election (polls do matter when taken in context). They did a great job covering each campaign’s field work in several states. I wish I could of voted for them for best new blog as well…

P.S. Doesn’t that thong look like it’s big enough for two people to fit in it? Maybe we need a Flopping Aces thong design competition. Any takers?
