Harry Reid – “Coal Ruining Our Country!”

Loading

Only Harry Reid would say something so out of this world ignorant:

“the one thing we fail to talk about is those costs that you don’t see on the bottom line. That is coal makes us sick, oil makes us sick; it’s global warming. It’s ruining our country, it’s ruining our world. We’ve got to stop using fossil fuel.”

The guy is a walking billboard of hyperbole.

The war is lost

This flu is going to strike us all, me, my children, my grandchildren; and if they get it, half of them are going to die unless we do something to stop it

I’m sure his dad gave him a pat on the back, but it’s a back pat he’s going to regret.” (On Bush selecting Cheney as his VP in 2000)

The Iraqi war is hopeless and the situation in Iraq is same as it was in Vietnam.”

And so on….the man is an embarrassment to the Senate and the Democrat party. When we have an alternative to fossil fuels that is cost effective and won’t destroy our economy then I’m sure we all would be happy to switch over. But until then just friggin drill. As Thomas Pyle, President of the Institute for Energy Research, said today:

Members of Congress have been questioning witnesses and pounding podiums for the news cameras, but they have done nothing to increase American oil production by even one single barrel. Families are paying the price of Washington’s willful refusal to do what we all know must be done. American taxpayers own the federal lands, and they own the vast energy resources that lie beneath them too. If the federal government continues to withhold these supplies, how is it any different from OPEC?

The only thing the Democrats have done over the last 30 years of denying our country to ability to drill is made us dependent on other countries for our survival. Its ludicrous to think we have all this oil under our own feet but can’t get it our because of some spotted frog or other such nonsense.

And instead of talking about that Harry Reid embarrasses himself with “the world is lost” kind of crapola.

Get a grip Senator.

Harry Reid makes me sick. This asshat has the nerve to condemn fossil fuel which at the present time runs our economy. Without fossil fuel we would be destroyed economically and militarily. This Senator is a total moron.

It boggles my mind that these fools pander to the commie greenies at the expense of our country.
And how can any idiot greenie not realize that it’s going to take years and years to come up with acceptable alternatives…
So in the mean time we have to drill more and build more refining capacity and more coal and nuclear.

There is no such thing as AGW and never will be…

Keep drinking the kool aid libs,,

It’s becoming absolutely clear to anyone paying the slightest attention that Democrats are out to STOP us from using energy in nearly every form.

So how long will it be before the big lie the Democrats have put out blaming big oil for the problem is seen for what it is?

High gas prices aren’t the fault of big oil. They are the fault of big government… big DEMOCRAT government!

I wonder what Sen Byrd had to say about Reid’s comments? Byrd’s been re-elected every time based on funding from coal companies.

Anyone seen a comment from his office?

Every single Republican candidate for Congress should be running on the platform of “I will work to increase the supply of oil production in our country, and limit the influence foreign nations have on our energy prices.” Every single one of them.

Harry Reid and the rest of the Marxist Democrats make me sick.

Energy independence is right under your feet.

Harry Reid is the same idiot liberal democrat that said the war in Iraq was lost. He ought to be censured, removed from office and brought up on charges of treason, in accordance with Article III, Section 3 of The Constitution.

Or Stone Cold Steve Austin should run up to him on the floor of the Senate and smash him with a steel folding chair. Either way works for me 😀
