The ACLU is suing the National Security Agency for violating the U.S. Constitution. The illegal NSA spying program authorized by President Bush just after September 11, 2001, allows the NSA to intercept vast quantities of the international telephone and Internet communications of innocent Americans without court approval.
Since the lawsuit was filed in U.S. Federal Court in the Eastern District of Michigan, where I practice, I’ve already been contacted by concerned U.S. citizens who wish to intervene in the case as interested parties (whose interests and welfare are affected by this case) in support of the government’s activities. And we may do so. You may feel free to contact me regarding this if you are interested in adding your name.
So basically anyone who disagree’s with this suit and who wish to intervene AGAINST the ACLU can sign up. If ever there was a better opportunity to shove their cowardly and traitorous behavior down their throat, this is it. Debbie tell’s us how to sign up:

I will need everyone’s complete name and contact info (full name, phone number, e-mail address, complete U.S. snailmail address–you must be a U.S. citizen). If you have e-mailed me regarding this, I will respond via e-mail to you over the weekend and into next week, with an affidavit to sign (with notarized signature) and a brief agreement saying you agree to have me represent you in court for this matter and that I will not charge you any fees.
Take the time to send her an email and follow through. The ACLU needs to be fought tooth and nail on this. The Democrats have pretty much already hung the white flag up, but the ACLU will fight for anything that will harm this country. They need to be stopped.
Jay tells us that the cost is 250 bucks. Jay started the donation process here. To date over 1600 bucks has come in which is good news. The cost of fighting this group will probably be high but I know we can raise it. Time to fight this group toe to toe.
