Inauguration Day

The inauguration went off without a hitch and man was that speech something. Great speach and probably one of the greatest deliveries Bush has made during a speech.

The Sundries Shack brings up a good point about the supposed peace loving moonbats. Check this out.

12:12p.m. ET Not So Peaceful Peace Rally

Hundreds of people gathered at both ends of Meridian Hill Park in Northwest Washington for a peace rally sponsored by the D.C Antiwar Network.

But there were interlopers: Thirteen members of ProtestWarror, supporting the Bush administration and its policies in Iraq. When the Bush supporters arrived, about 20 black-clad, self-described anarchists emerged from the crowd, shouting profanity and epithets and demanding that they leave the peace rally.

When the Bush supporters refused to leave, the anarchists tore the signs out of the Bush supporters’ hands and stomped on them. When ProtestWarrior leader Gil Kobrin objected, several male anarchists knocked him to the ground, kicking him in the back and punching him. Other anarchists punched and shoved Kobrin’s 12 colleagues.

After D.C. Antiwar Network members broke up the fight, the Bush supporters heeded their order to leave the park. Kobrin then called D.C. police, who are now guarding them at the entrance of the park as they hold up their pro-war signs. “We’re going to hang tight,” Kobrin said. “We’re expressing our freedom of speech just as they are expressing theirs.” –Robert MacMillan

Hmmm, how wonderful the moonbats are huh? How about the one’s calling him a sexist and a racist. Uh, yeah….he nominated the first black female for Secretary of State and he is a racist and a sexist.

With little fanfare and not much credit, President Bush has appointed a more diverse set of top advisers than any president in history.

n his first term, Bush matched the record that President Clinton set in his first term for appointing women and people of color to the Cabinet, and Bush had a more diverse inner circle at the White House. Since his re-election last month, the president has made a series of groundbreaking nominations.

It all comes down to the moonbats hating what Bush does, doesn’t matter what he does, they will hate it. As Brandon said over at his blog:

I truly believe that the reason many people don?t like President Bush is that he means what he says. For years we?ve had politicians that make empty promises; however, Bush scares some of the Washington elite because of his broad agenda. And while I think that makes him a hated President by some, I think for those same reasons, many people believe Bush can be the greatest President in modern times.

I can agree with that.
