sean smith death phony scandal

We have all watched as the multiple Obama scandals developed. Yesterday he dismissed all of them as “phony”:

President Obama on Wednesday dismissed a series of controversies dogging his administration as “phony” in remarks that represented a clear shift in White House tactics.

“With an endless parade of distractions, political posturing and phony scandals, Washington has taken its eye off the ball,” Obama said in an economic address at Knox College in Galesburg, Ill.

At one time they weren’t so phony:

Obama’s comments marked an inflection point in the way the administration has been dealing with a raft of controversies, many of which the White House has previously suggested were substantive.

And he wants Congress to stop scrutinizing them:

The president in Galesburg said the GOP’s focus on scandals “needs to stop. Short-term thinking and stale debates are not what this moment requires,” he said.

No doubt. Especially as they close in on the Oval Office.

But these remarks represent a significant change- Benghazi is now among the “phony” scandals.

Obama on Wednesday did not specify which controversies were “phony,” but the administration has been attacked over National Security Agency surveillance programs leaked to the public, the IRS’s targeting of conservative groups, the Department of Justice’s seizing of media phone records, and last year’s attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya.

And someone took issue with Benghazi being called a phony scandal: Pat Smith, mother of Sean Smith.

“I don’t believe him anymore,” Smith said. “He’s wrong. My son is dead. How could that be phony?”

According to Smith, she has been given no answers about what happened that night. She said the administration told her she “didn’t need to know.”

“When I was there at the ceremony of the welcoming of the caskets, both Obama and Hillary and Biden and all of the other ones, all promised me they would get back to me to tell me what happened,” Smith said. “I begged them. Please, I must know what happened with my son. How come this happened? They all promised me they would get back to me. You know, not one of them, not one of them ever got back to me in any way shape or form — not by a letter, not by anything other than I got a memo stating that I didn’t need to know because I was not part of the immediate family.”

Smith made one last plea to the Obama administration explaining her desire for answers.

“How can I tell you?” Smith added. “I mean, it is wrong. It is not phony. It is not fake. My son is dead, and why is he dead? All I am waiting for even to this day is just someone to get back to me and tell me what happened. Why did Hillary do as she did? Why was there no security there when there was supposed to be? Who was the general that called back the troops when they were going to help?”

You can see the interview here.

We still don’t where in the world Waldobama was during the attack.

President Obama has never revealed what, if anything, he was doing while workers at the Benghazi embassy were urgently requesting support, nor has the administration explained why no forces were sent to protect the embassy. The administration also denied the attack was a terrorist incident, claiming it was a spontaneous protest against an obscure YouTube trailer for a film that may or may not exist.

A prime suspect in the Benghazi attacks was allowed to walk for lack of evidence.

There are reports that the Benghazi survivors were forced to sign non-disclosure agreements:

Rep. Frank Wolf, R-Va., is calling on the Obama administration to explain why the survivors of last year’s deadly attack in Benghazi, Libya, were reportedly asked to sign non-disclosure agreements that prevent them from talking about the attack.

In a letter to Secretary of State John Kerry, Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel and CIA Director John Brennan, Wolf said his office has received reports that some survivors of the attack were asked to sign the confidentiality agreement as recently as this summer.

“If these reports are accurate, it would raise serious questions about additional restrictions the State Department has placed on those with knowledge of the Benghazi attacks,” Wolf said in the letter. “I also worry about the impact of any [non-disclosure agreements] on congressional efforts to understand fully what happened that night and why the agency responded as it did.”

And Obama? He only knows what he reads in the papers.

President Obama, who disappeared from action reports the night of last fall’s deadly terror attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, now admits he’s ignorant of anybody wanting to talk about what really happened in those dark hours when four Americans died and no rescue was attempted.

How fortunate Obama is to have such a blindly loyal, stupid and unquestioning constituency. It is truly embarrassing that these people can be called Americans.

There’s no point in asking Hillary about this. We already know what she would say.

This is Pat Smith

pat smith

Remember this?

But his humanitarianism will remain inhumane as long as he fails to understand that the moral authority of parents who bury children killed in Iraq is absolute.

How about a child killed in Libya? Where is Pat Smith’s absolute moral authority?

Oh wait- this is a phony scandal.

The real phony is Hillary and 0-blama calling the incident phony. I’m sure their press will help them.

Diplomatic Security agent David Ubben, who fought along side two of the four who died in Benghazi, has begun to tell his story.
No medical plane was sent at all.
Ubben is the one ho kept going into the burning building until he recovered Sean Smith’s body.
Smith’s mom said, ”Why couldn’t the government have done the same thing? I think (Ubben) is a hero. He absolutely is a hero along with the two Seals that got it. There’s no reason for all these people to die.”

During the second wave of the attack, Ubben was on the roof of the CIA annex — along with former Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty — defending the compound.

State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki on why is has been so hard for Congress to get testimony from witnesses, like Ubben:
“We don’t prevent anyone from telling their story. We’ve helped and facilitated countless hearings and interviews and discussions of members of Congress.”

Now, there’s one guy, Col. George Bristol, who has been hidden from the Congress.
The Obama Admin claimed he had retired and therefore they had no idea where he was…..turned out not to be true.
He retires this week.
Obama’s peeps have known EXACTLY where has been ASSIGNED to be.
They just refused to share.

What DIFFERENCE does it make?? the DIFFERENCE HILLARY, is if YOU had DONE YOUR JOB, these Deaths may NEVER have occurred.. THAT is WHAT DIFFERENCE IT MAKES!

“With an endless parade of distractions, political posturing and phony scandals, Washington has taken its eye off the ball,” Obama said in an economic address at Knox College in Galesburg, Ill.

Truer words were never spoken. The entire focus of the GOP has been on their campaign to damage the reputation and impair the effectiveness of the Obama administration, without regard for the consequences of their own appalling negligence regarding all other issues. The republican majority House is truly worse than useless.

The most recent RCP Congressional Job Approval poll average, compiled earlier this week, stands at 15.8 percent, with 76.2 percent disapproving of the job Congress is doing. Looking at the accompanying graph, it’s readily apparent that the level of disapproval has trended upward since the new republican House majority was seated following the 2010 elections.

@Greg: WHAT reputation?? All we’ve seen is lies and cover ups !

as to THE POLL… when the MSM, starts telling TRUTH, and not acting as a LIB SHILL… maybe the INFORMED populace, would poll differently.

The RCP averages represent both conservative and liberal polling sources. They’ve generally been very accurate concerning the outcome of elections. I assume they’re equally accurate in the picture they present concerning public attitudes toward Congress.

Blame everything on that damn lamestream media. Sarah Palin

15% approval you say. Considering that damn lamestream media I’m not surprised. John Boehner–But don’t worry, we plan on overturning everything and the people will love us.

Greg
how dare you accuse the GOP, THEY ARE NOT DELAYING ANYTHING WHICH IS NOT THERE,
and the SCANDALS ARE ALL REAL NOT PHONY ALL OF THEM REALITY,
and WOUNDED PEOPLE REAL PEOPLE ARE IN HOSPITALS COVER WITH THE ADMINISTRATION THREAT TO REMAIN SILENT,
BUT THEY WON’T,
OBAMA HAS THE BLOOD OF THE 4 HEROS ON HIS HANDS

@Greg: @Greg: You seem to not grasp, he is Washington.

@Mully, #9:

No more than the members of Congress, and far less than those who have spend many years there.

@Greg: Yes he is the leader. Leader are supposed to lead not whine and complain which is what he does. That is not leadership. This guy is like a general complaining the opposing general is tough and should give in.
He conveys that since he was elected then everyone should agree with him and go along with him.. He seems to have poor at best negotiating skills.

His ideas for the economy are warmed over liberal ideas that simply don’t work. If they did he wouldn’t be focusing on the economy for the 19th time. Did anyone hear anything new from him during his speech?

@Mully, #11:

Unfortunately for the GOP, the economy is unquestionably strengthening. Their dire predictions of total economic doom, which we were previously hearing 24/7, failed to pan out. That’s why they’ve switched from the economy horse to the scandal horse. That one doesn’t seem like a winner, either.

I don’t think Obama is really the GOP’s problem. Dislike for Obama might be the only thing that’s holding them together.

IMPEACHMENT

@Greg:

Unfortunately for the GOP, the economy is unquestionably strengthening

.

Tell that to the record number of Americans that have been dropped from the labor force.

Their dire predictions of total economic doom, which we were previously hearing 24/7, failed to pan out.

What? How do you get there? Wasn’t it Obama and the Democrats that demanded the passing of the Stimulus Bill to “stimulate” the economy? Oh, wait, all those shovel ready jobs were not really shovel ready. Ooops.

That’s why they’ve switched from the economy horse to the scandal horse. That one doesn’t seem like a winner, either.

Right you are. A dead Border Patrol agent, four dead Americans in Benghazi, the IRS persecuting groups because they thought those groups were conservative, NSA spying on non-law breaking Americans, pushing racial division in the nation…………………….nothing to see here, just move on.

I don’t think Obama is really the GOP’s problem. Dislike for Obama might be the only thing that’s holding them together.

Well, that’s because you have fully partaken of the Obama Kool-Aid. Or you are just a paid troll. I pick both.

Obama never called the incident phony. If anyone is guilty of exploiting the death of Mrs Smith’s son, it would be the GOP with their trumped up phony scandal, which President Obama and many others have identified.

One might recall that the Congress has had nine full hearings on Benghazi, (compared to the total of three on the multiple attacks on diplomatic targets that killed thirteen Americans during the Bush era-which seemed perfectly acceptable to the GOP) and came up short on any wrong doing. One might look at the fact that The Accountability and Review Board, led by diplomat Thomas Pickering and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Mike Mullen, pretty much exonerated Secretary Clinton of any wrongdoing.

The bogus Benghazi scandal is a product of the abject fear of the GOP who have brought blatant dishonesty to an entirely new level. It’s simply a twofer that goes after the Hillary campaign and the President at the same time, utilizing the spin machine of Fox News and the Karl Rove’s super pacs.

One big difference I think you’ll see here is that I doubt you see Dems attack Smith like we saw when the GOP used their attack machine to discredit and slander Cindy Sheehan who lost a son along with over 4ooo Americans and hundreds of thousands injured in what will historically go down as the mother of all scandals.

Ronald J. Ward
DON’T TRY TO GIVE US THAT COMPARISON,
we where watching the whole thing progress in a bloody bath,
in BENGHASI, NO ONE TO BE LEFT WITH HELP,
AND THE DITHERING TO SAY WE JUST CAN’T SEND MILITARY WITHOUT KNOWING.
KNOWING WHAT, THAT THERE WAS AMERICANS IN NEED OF SUPPORT,
AMERICANS WORKING FOR FREEDOM FOR THEIR COUNTRY LEFT ALONE TO FIGHT AN UNEVEN FIGHT BUT BRAVE ENOUGH TO NOT RUN OUT OF IT,
WHILE THEY IN AMERICA CONTINUE TO EVALUATE WHY THEY SHOULD SEND HELP,
EAT YOUR WORD AND CHOKE, AND DON’T EXPECT ANYONE TO HELP YOU,
THAT’S THE NEW AMERICA,
PRESIDENT BUSH YES WE MISS YOU MORE AND MORE,

MOTHER SMITH
WE WON’T LET HIM BE FORGOTTEN LIKE HE WAS THERE,
HE IS A HERO LIKE THE OTHER,
AND THAT IS WHAT WE WILL REMEMBER OF ALL OF THEM TO HAVE DONE,

It seems that according to him, EVERY criticism or question is met with the same reply:

http://i979.photobucket.com/albums/ae277/RAPH6969/2013/44_zps0e1f3271.jpg

I always know the right has nothing when they have to resort to bombastic lies right in their blog headings, lol!

Well, he’s right. The GOP has been too busy making up scandals to deflect from the fact that not only have they used the filibuster a record number of times to deny numerous jobs bills, they’ve put forth no ideas of their own (except more tax cuts for the uber-wealthy).

But how do you tell this to someone like ‘Retire05,’ who thinks only in a right wing bumper sticker mentality?

How has Obama done on the economy?
He’s both pivoted back to it 19 times AND he’s never slept without thinking about it.
So….Under Obama for 5 years America has a job-starved economy.
Despite lovely comments by his loving media, Obama’s economy is slowing down, even though numbers show it was already anemic under him.
Gross Domestic Product is falling.
The jobless rate nationally is 7.6%.
In our most highly populated states like NY, CA, MI, Ill and NJ it is between 8 and 9%.
Consumer confidence is down.
Consumers are not spending robustly, but rather sparingly.
Wages are stagnant.
Gas prices are rising.
Taxes are also rising.

So, what did Obama achieve in his speeches as he pivoted back to jobs for the 19th time?
He blames Republicans for things.
But remember, every Obama proposal that has come to Congress has not received even ONE vote, Dem OR Rep!
So, blaming Republicans is silly.

HISTORY LESSON:
The 1981-82 recession pushed unemployment to 10.8 percent, higher than it got under Barack Obama, but the economy recovered in just two years under Reagan’s pro-investment, pro-jobs agenda.
The economy was up at an 8.5 percent growth rate in the first quarter of 1984 as Ronald Reagan prepared to run for re-election.

~~~~
So how do former Obama syncophants feel about Obama’s ”recovery?”
Nobel Prize winner Paul Krugman, one of Obama’s earliest supporters, more recently wrote, “We’re still very much living through…a low grade depression.”
OOPS!
Obama’s even lost him!
Don’t the rest of his few little cheerleaders feel dumb?
They should!
no wander ,OBAMA won the election,
this woman will be 5 years in the cling for multiple votes and she was an agent to check if there was not fraud, she is one of how many, they are finding other every day,
SO ARE THE CONSERVATIVES READY TO TAKE THE FRAUDULENT GOVERNMENT OUT
AND TAKE THE PLACE ,
@Nan G: Actually Nan Consumer Confidence Index hit a SIX YEAR HIGH at 85.1 in July fueled by higher stock and R.E. values. Gold is down—have you sold yours?
If President Bush had just one of these scandals, he would have been crucified by the media. Anybody remember waterboarding? The media could not get enough of it and the story went on forever! My how things turn when a liberal is in office. Is there any difference now between the mainstream media and Russia’s Pravda?
@This one:
Well, he’s right. The GOP has been too busy making up scandals to deflect from the fact that not only have they used the filibuster a record number of times to deny numerous jobs bills, they’ve put forth no ideas of their own (except more tax cuts for the uber-wealthy).
Is Brian Terry dead from the use of a Fast and Furious gun?
Is Chris Steven, Sean Smith, and two other Americans dead from lack of response by our government on Sept. 11, 2012 in Benghazi?
Were almost 300 organizations with “Tea Party,” “Patriot” or “9-11” in their names targeted by the IRS under directions of an Presidential appointee?
But how do you tell this to someone like ‘Retire05,’ who thinks only in a right wing bumper sticker mentality?
How do I explain anything to someone like you who can only parrot Huffington Post, DailyKos, Moveon.org and DNC talking points?
Tell me, do you get an email every morning telling you what to say because you have yet to provide anything original on this forum?
@Richard Wheeler:
I was referring to the Gallop Economic Confidence Index which is at -12 last week.
The current score is substantially lower than the five-year weekly high of -3 reached in late May and early June.
The public’s confidence inched closer to positive territory and reached a new peak in late May and early June after U.S. stock prices surged and housing values increased.
For the most recent week, 43% of Americans say the economy is getting better and 52% say it is getting worse, for a net economic outlook score of -9. This score has sharply declined since it reached positive territory in late May and early June.
Americans’ assessments of current economic conditions this year have been steadier. Last week, 19% of Americans said the economy was “excellent” or “good,” while 33% said it was “poor,” for a net current conditions score of -14.
Bottom Line
While U.S. stock prices have registered four consecutive weeks of gains, that has not been enough to maintain the higher levels of confidence Gallup measured in late May and early June. Higher gas prices, a struggling job market, and rising mortgage rates could be contributing to consumers’ slightly lower levels of confidence in the economy.
http://www.gallup.com/poll/163628/economic-confidence-stalls.aspx
Sorry for the confusion.
The right wing is ginning up Benghazi and trying to blame the US military for being unable to stop these tragic deaths. That is shameful. Stop trying to put scandal on a tragedy and politicizing those deaths.
And Nan the “economy” is doing very well, for the top 10%. These “job creators” who are now paying less of their share of the total tax burden than under Reagan are laughing all the way to the banks that are “too big to fail”. But the GOP has convinced their uber right wing that those people should not pay more in taxes, even as their wealth and share of the national wealth keeps going up.
When George Bush was President the media was much more skeptical on jobs and the economy. Unemployment was at 6 per cent and falling and we were still being told things were bad. The new jobs being created were not good jobs. With Obama the jobs are mostly part time ones now as full time work shrinks. The poverty rate is on the rise. For every job the Obama folks claim to have created 2 people have gone on food stamps. Which to some I‘m sure is fine as it helps enslave more people on government assistance instead of setting them free. The media however is a cheerleader. As Obama recently said they tell him his ideas are good ones. I doubt George Bush ever heard those words from the media. NO president should be hearing those words from the media.
Of course Obama and his followers hold their breath for another jobs bill or program to save us all. How about green energy of high speed rail? Never mind it has no market or is a money pit, it will create jobs we are told. It’s easy when you are spending other people’s money. I suggest Democrats all get together and pool their own money and pick a project, fund it with their own funds and prove people like me wrong. Obama can be the leader; the way he saved Detroit should do it.
Fact is what was promised in 2008 has not come to pass; the jobs the lower debt, none of it. What has is doubling of gasoline prices and escalating food prices to put the squeeze on us all. Wages have not kept up.
Now we have unions such as the Teamsters and the IBEW wanting big changes in Obamacare. They were all for it, until the details began trickling it. Now the tune has changed.
As for the stock market, it’s being fueled by Fed bond purchases to the tune of 85 billon a month. Once that stops we’ll see what happens. When there are whispers of it stopping the market tanks. What this has done though is make Obama the greatest president we have ever had in terms of creating wealth inequality. The poor see higher prices for daily living while the wealthy see their portfolios’ go higher.
Nothing phony about this.
@john:
The right wing is ginning up Benghazi and trying to blame the US military for being unable to stop these tragic deaths. That is shameful.
Apparently you don’t know that the military operates under a chain of command. Individual soldiers cannot enter into any fray with out orders from up the chain. And where does that chain end? At the Resolution Desk in the Oval Office. No, the right is not blaming the military, it is blaming the CIC of the military who has told one lie after another about Benghazi. First, the lie that Benghazi happened because of a little known video. Was that true? Not according to anyone there that night. Then the lie that a General who should be testifying was retired and could not be found. Ooooops. That lie was outed by the Military Times.
Stop trying to put scandal on a tragedy and politicizing those deaths.
You mean like how Obama, and his minions, used Sandy Hook and Trayvon Martin for political clout?
Go back to Huffington Post, DailyKos and OFA. They have your daily talking points ready for you.
The only reason Obama is ”pivoting” back to the economy is that his attempt at a distraction from how bad it is (at the time he thought Trayvon Martin had been shot by a Jewish white man called George Zimmerman) failed worse than he could ever have imagined.
The Obama WhiteHouse.gov website has continuously had more economic ideas than all his speeches this week put together!
Obama actually said: I spend every minute every day on making the economy work.
But the truth is out that ABC News dishonestly edited Zimmerman’s juror to take ´Got Away With Murder´ out of context.
Obama’s helpful media can’t do it anymore!
Obama has been for everything that hurts America and against everything that might help her.
Even his ”work place” killer, Nidal Hasan, came out with a public statement to wit: I am a JIHADIST, not a crazy man just shooting up my fellow workers.
Obama must be apoplectic!
Over our night the Obama-hated Egyptian military went into the Northern Sinai desert and killed man Islamists who were massing there to go against Israel!
Whose side would Obama have been on between Islamists and Israel I wonder?
Obama is America’s president, but he has not represented even one view in any agreement with my views since he got there.
And, where was OBAMA on the night our two Benghazi compounds were attacked????
For anyone on the left- where was Obama during the Benghazi attack?
I’ll tell you what’s phony- Obama saying that he gives a damn about Sean Smith or the other three dead.
Inflation is showing it’s predictable results in housing prices and in stock prices. Jobs are evolving into multiple part-time jobs replacing single full-time jobs. Our international debt is being paid with dollars which are worth less than when the money was borrowed. This all looks good and is due to the Fed increasing the money supply rapidly.
Middle and lower classes are finding their spending power decreasing faster than their income is increasing. People on fixed incomes are in the worst shape as food and energy costs are swallowing up their discretionary budgets. The government games the official inflation rate by weighting technology prices more heavily. This is no help to the bulk of people, but the public has been dumbed down by the infected educators and the media so nobody seems to have a clue as to the cause of their problems. They’re told to blame “the corporations” or the wealthy who aren’t suffering.
As the increased dollar volume flows through the economy, the tax machine increases government income which brings about deficit reduction. This also extends the day of reckoning for Social Security as long as COLAs are suppressed by the official inflation calculation. If the inflation continues, it may even ameliorate some of the pressure of state and local governments pension debt
All is proceeding as I have expected and expressed. Eventually, even middle class salaries will necessarily increase due to inflationary pressure. That is, they will if the economy resumes any measurable growth and the job market actually recovers.
At this point, the average person is best served by a debt load at an interest rate fixed below the actual inflation rate such as a home mortgage.
Inflation makes the economy look a lot healthier than it actually is. This is why the silly socialists can brag and why they’re just blowing smoke, as always.
NanG said: ‘But remember, every Obama proposal that has come to Congress has not received even ONE vote, Dem OR Rep!”
Really, ‘Obama’ puts Bills before congress? News to me. I thought that was the job of Congress.
@This one:
The President can propose or advocate legislation to Congress, and have it formally introduced for a vote by political allies. The annual budget bill that the House debates, modifies, and votes on normally originates as a proposal from the White House. Obama’s budget proposals, introduced as bills, have been defeated repeatedly by nearly unanimous bipartisan votes. For years, the Federal budget has been arranged as a series of 30-day continuing resolutions; the lack of an annual budget violates the law but they do it month by month anyway.
LOLWUT?
Friends, one of the SEALS who died at Benghazi was part of the rescue team that you deny existed.
The only SCANDAL is that people like you are trying to invent one, and in doing so, you dishonor the memory of the brave servicemen who voluntarily bordered a plain in Tripoli, flew to Benghazi, went to the compound and came under surprise mortar attack. Those who died in that mortar attack were heroes, not victims, and you who claim they never went to the rescue of their fellow Americans are beneath contempt.
But more importantly: you are denying reality.
(P.S. remember the fake emails ABC published from “Congressional sources”? Wanna know who prepared those fakes and gave them to ABC to rile y’all up? Now THAT’s a scandal … do you want Issa to investigate it? LOL)
@This one:
OK, feces for brains – every time an Obama administration budget was introduced by some sycophant in Congress, that bill garnered 0 votes. Zero. None. Nada.zilch Zippo – not even dimocraps.
Does that help your fevered brain understand, you weasel word, mealy-mouthed obama sycophant?
Am I clear here?
REWINN
WE KNOW ALL THAT, WE WHERE WATCHING IT ON FOX,
THOSE HEROS SEALS WHERE FIGHTING THE TERRORISTS BY THEMSELVES, THEY KNEW THAT ANY TIME A RESCUE TEAM WOULD ARRIVE, SO THEY WAITED AND FINALLY DIED ON THE SPOT
AND THOSE ARE NOT THE RESCUE YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT, THEY CAME NOT TO FIGHT AN ARMY OF ALQAEDA BUT TO HELP THE AMBASSADOR,
THE RESCUE NEVER CAME, THEY TALK OF A VIDEO INSTEAD AND OBAMA AND HILARY SPEND
MULTIPLE THOUSAND, DOLLARS TO SAY TO THE ENEMIES THEY ARE SORRY, FOR THE VIDEO,
Obama has put forward a budget each year. It’s not Obama’s fault that Congress is so f-ed up that it can’t respond the way it’s supposed to. There’s a 2014 budget proposal from the White House, if republicans ever want to get off their butts and talk seriously about it. They won’t. They’ll put forward some b.s. proposal the same way they do every year.
@Jeff D:
Jeff
What were the votes for Obama budgets when the democrat controlled both the House and Senate?
Phony scandals? Really? Just inconvenient truths, if you ask me- and I want answers. I would like to hold Billary’s feet to the fire, literally- same with Holder, and O’mammy too. They need to scream the truth.
@Jeff D: #38.. a LEADER finds a way to get it done. If OBAMA removed ACA from the budget, for a SEPARATE debate rest of the budget would pass. HE REFUSES.. so WHERE is the “bottleneck’? WHO is INTENTIONALLY causing this? Gee.. could it be OBAMA HIMSELF?
@Blake: #40 AMEN!
Oh, and JEFF.. to be BI-PARTISAN, means to take BOTH SIDES.. and combine the ideas, into a BEST plan, NOT to be a YES MAN for ONE SIDE RULE , when you have THAT (which is what Obama WANTS) you have a DICTATORSHIP…. hello??
I have YET to see Obama act in a “bi-Partisan way” tho he SAYS it a LOT!!
@Ronald J. Ward: Benghazi is “phony”? There were four preventable deaths here, all attributable to the State Dept. (i.e. Billary Clinton)- First, it was Sept. 11- that alone should have heightened the awareness. Then there was Chris Stevens asking for more security, only to have the security he had, cut in half, all because it was supposed to dovetail into the Obama narrative of the “arab spring”, when all antennae should have been up, since the North African version of Al Queda was intact and extremely active.
Phony? You would have to either be a chronic liar like the rest of the administration, or have your head in the sand, like the ignorant masses and lamestream media.
As to the rest of the scandals, they are real also, as you would know if you really wanted to.
@Blake: There seems to be some orchestrated playbook here of disregarding the argument and rewriting your own only to claim victory to your fabricated argument.
Benghazi is “phony”?
No, Benghazi wasn’t phony. I never said it was phony. I never said Obama said it was phony. Obama never said Benghazi was phony. What I did say in the very first sentence of what you’re replying to is “Obama never called the incident phony”. What part of that can possibly be construed as anyone calling Benghazi phony?
If your weak tea straw-man arguments actually had an iota of validity, maybe you wouldn’t have to resort to such desperate spin tactics, denial, and word manipulation to justify your obviously delusional ranting hate fest.
@Ronald J. Ward:
Ahem…
Obama on Wednesday did not specify which controversies were “phony,” but the administration has been attacked over National Security Agency surveillance programs leaked to the public, the IRS’s targeting of conservative groups, the Department of Justice’s seizing of media phone records, and last year’s attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya.
Blake
can you educate that uninform just a bit,
bye
Benghazi isn’t phony. Benghazi actually happened. What’s phony is the republican scandal.
@Tired American: “… Anybody remember waterboarding? The media could not get enough of it and the story went on forever! My how things turn when a liberal is in office.”
Ah, Obama has forbidden waterboarding. We don’t do it anymore. Nice try, simp.
@Bill Johnson: “OK, feces for brains – every time an Obama administration budget was introduced by some sycophant in Congress, that bill garnered 0 votes. Zero. None. Nada.zilch Zippo – not even dimocraps.
Does that help your fevered brain understand, you weasel word, mealy-mouthed obama sycophant?
Am I clear here? ”
Yes, very clear: A wingnut without the facts can’t carry on discourse without crude and rude remarks. They simply don’t have the intelligence. JeffD schooled you pretty well. And yes the Dems did vote for the budget and no, the Dems only controlled Congress for about 4 months before Kennedy died-and it wasn’t budget time.
Get your facts before you act like an arrogant asswipe.
