Remember the good old days when Global Warming was going to doom us all?  I’m so old I remember it was the imminent, any day now, new ice age that would popsicle humanity.  Good times.  Good times.  But when the climate computer modeler’s climate computer models all failed to predict, well, anything, and embarrassingly, the globe suddenly refused to warm, and that couldn’t be covered up, our new, universal doom was hastily renamed: Climate Change! It’s the Swiss Army Knife of eco-Armageddon. There is nothing it cannot do, nothing it cannot anticipate, describe or blame. Since it is and causes everything, it has the enormous scientific advantage of being non-falsifiable, which is kind of un-scientific, but CLIMATE CHANGE!

Hot weather? Climate Change.
Cold weather? Climate Change.
Rain? Climate Change.  
No rain? Climate Change.
Tuesday? Climate Change.
Dark out? Climate Change.
Full moon? Climate Change.
Snow? Climate Change.
No snow? Climate Change.
Bidenomics? Climate Change. Ooops. No, sorry! That’s not Climate Change, that’s stunning success and salvation. Glad I caught that one. 
High gas prices? Climate Change—or Putin.
Afghanistan pull-out debacle? Stunning success and Climate Change!
Supply chain disruptions? Climate Change.
Cow flatulence? Climate Change.
Breathing? Climate Change.
Terrorism? Climate Change.
No terrorism? Climate Change.
The utter failure of high-speed rail? Climate Change.
Donald Trump? Absolutely Climate Change.

See? There is nothing that exists, does not exist, moves, does not move, thinks, acts, or just sits there that is not caused by, or is an existential cause of, Climate Change! The Climate Change crowd have statistics to prove it too, and if they don’t they’ll just make some up, just because CLIMATE CHANGE! John Hinderaker at Powerline explains:

Not long ago, when there was a spike in U.S. wildfires caused mostly, I believe, by lousy forest management practices imposed by California environmentalists, the world was said to be on fire–unprecedented wildfires caused by hot temperatures! Never mind that globally, fewer acres burned last year than in any previous year on record.

Now, U.S. acres burned have declined as well:

The news has been quite good this year with respect to the total number of acres burned on US soil due to wildfire activity. In fact, the total acreage burned this year is under 3 million (through 12/18) which is far below the 10-year average of nearly 7 million from 2013-2022 and the lowest since 1998.

It is striking that even in a down year, there are tens of thousands of wildfires in the U.S. alone, that burn millions of acres.

What’s truly striking is how fiercely the ostensible stewards of the planet prevent actual underbrush, dead tree clearing and other forest management practices that prevent conflagrations. But haven’t wildfires always occurred, even before humanity was around to screw up everything with Climate Change? Shut up you climate deniers! One might be tempted to think they’re doing that on purpose so they can scream Climate Change!!! and demand trillions more to save the planet, which somehow always seems to go into the pockets of people like John Kerry and Al Gore rather than the planet’s bank account. There must be a climate computer modeling that somewhere…

So with wildfires down, why isn’t this described as a beneficial impact of “climate change?” If climate change was responsible for a brief, local uptick in fires, as liberals assured us, then why isn’t climate change–whatever that means–likewise responsible the larger, benign trend toward fewer wildfires and fewer acres burned?

Oh that’s easy. The Climate Change Swiss Army Knife doesn’t have that particular blade. That one might cut Climate Change’s narrative throat.

The climate change elites have finally kicked SCIENCE out of climate change.
DATA will no longer be collected to show movement in our earth’s temperature.
We are moving to all MODELS instead.

Originally, global warming/climate change was serving the purpose of collecting large sums of money for the grifters to steal from. Eventually, they developed the idea of creating new industries, such as solar panels, wind generators and EV’s that, knowing the government was going to steer civilization towards, that they and they alone could get in on the ground floor on, make a heap, then bail out before they collapse.

Then there are campfires and arsonists, some are just seasonal driven by wind, like their mudslides. In general CO2 is wonderful for plant-life. Trees are self assembly CO2 capture factories.
Dorks with their CO2 belching private planes gathering to tell me I cant have a gas lawnmower are irritating, do they own the planet?

Actually:

you may have heard a myth that nature’s balance doesn’t really matter. After all, CO2 is natural, and it helps plants and crops grow. That’s true. But it’s also misleading in that it’s only part of the story. A widely circulated myth suggests that adding extra CO2 to the atmosphere will fertilize plants and crops and make the world greener and better. Unfortunately, that turns out not to be true.

The myth that CO2 is plant food and that “extra” CO2 therefore can’t be bad is an example of a logical fallacy. It sort of sounds right, but it’s a major oversimplification. It’s appealing because it suggests that it’s okay to emit the pollution that causes climate change. But the myth is not true. It’s so oversimplified that it leaves out other important factors that help plants grow – and all of the damage that extra CO2 is causing. Just think of it in terms of “too much of a good thing is a bad thing” as, for example, with too much water causing a bathtub to overflow.

Simpleton, nature balances by faster plant growth, just like in greenhouses, what damage does CO2 do you leave that out.

Fertilizer alone does not make a successful garden.

A lot of myths have a grain of truth to them. That’s part of what makes them believable – at first. But it’s up to us to look beyond that single fragment of a fact. In the case of the CO2-as-fertilizer myth, you can test the idea by thinking about your own garden. Is fertilizer alone sufficient to create a healthy garden? Of course not. A garden needs the right amount of water, stable weather conditions, and plants that are suited to the local environment. These are the same factors that have been disrupted by an overload of CO2 in the atmosphere. For example, just adding more fertilizer doesn’t help plants when a garden is getting either too much or not enough water.

CO2 is natural, but can also be harmful.

Another facet to this myth is that CO2 is natural, so therefore it can’t be a bad thing. Again, a “gut check” can show how that logic doesn’t hold up to scrutiny. For example, nitrogen and phosphorus are also plant fertilizers, but they’re pollutants when there’s too much of them. An overdose of nitrogen or phosphorus triggers algae blooms, kills fish, and turns lakes into smelly swamps. Even oxygen is explosive in high concentrations. Many serious pollutants – mercury, lead, arsenic – are naturally occurring. But they’re still dangerous. The same holds true for CO2, and it’s both a natural, necessary substance and a pollutant in high concentrations.

To conduct a more “real world” experiment, other studies have given plants extra CO2 plus an increase in temperature. In these conditions, many plants and crops grew poorly. In most cases, the boost from CO2 was overwhelmed by the hotter conditions. These experiments demonstrate that the myth of CO2 fertilization is false, and peer-reviewed reports find that major crops like wheat, rice, corn, and soybeans will become less productive as the world heats up.

Likewise, a landmark study in 2018 found that growing rice in high-CO2 conditions makes it less nutritious. As a basic grain, rice plays a critical role in feeding the world’s population. The extra CO2 caused an imbalance within the crop’s chemical makeup, which resulted in rice that had lower amounts of protein, iron, zinc, and B-vitamins. “The entire elemental balance is out of whack,” explained plant physiologist Lewis Ziska, an author of the study. This result is yet another example of how the recipe of nature is being disrupted by excess CO2.

What fertilizer made trees grow to 300 feet tall? was there perfect soil?
I have 70 foot oaks, the soil is almost pure sand.
Carbon is a basic element, you are a carbon based life form get over the fear mongering.
We will never control climate, we live on a woobly spinning rock and sun cycles which we have no control over are climate drivers.
Not 1 of their dooms day predictions have come true get over it already.
Every glacier when Al Gore was born is still there. We have an overload of Polar bears. Kerry wants to stop farming let him pull up all the tomato plants and then go fuck himself. How they must laugh at fools like you, as they dine on kobe beef telling you to eat bugs and grubs.
Take your class and plant some trees, tell them there is a wonderful future for them, to not leave trash behind themselves when in nature.

The experimental concentrations used here for the elevated [CO2] treatment is 568 to 590 μmol mol.

Got news for you.
Outdoor CO2 is 330 umol mol.
Indoor CO2 runs 550-700 umol mol.
If you want to keep warm at night by closing all your windows and door, your bedroom might reach 1000-12000 umol mol.
If you want to feel symptoms from too high a CO2 level you have to get that number up to between 2500 and 3000 umol mol.
Even then the symptoms will be minor, like a headache or fatigue.
Plants love higher CO2 levels.
I keep a conservatory in one room of my home to winter all my warm-weather plants.
They produce O2 and rid the house of excess CO2.

Higher outdoor CO2 is simply not happening in the real world, only in labs intent on scare mongering.
