Fox News Digital published a lengthy piece Saturday morning entitled “‘White saviors’ use of whistles causes bitter internal rift inside anti-ICE movement.” It’s a festival of exactly the kind of “white privilege” you’d expect from these ‘60s burnouts and wannabes. It would be funny if it weren’t all so criminal, and cringe.
Fox News Digital has reviewed days of messages inside Signal chat rooms that reveal that a new internal feud has erupted inside the anti-ICE protest industry, pitting immigrant-led organizations against predominately White “rapid response” networks that have made whistle-blowing a dramatic part of anti-ICE protests.
The George Soros–linked “Indivisible” is on the side of the groups trying to quiet things down.
The use of whistles is complex, and we recognize this decision may be disappointing. It is essential that we avoid falling into a “White Savior” dynamic, centering ourselves as rescuers, acting on communities rather than with them, or prioritizing feeling helpful over building real, shared power.
That’s atypically self-aware, isn’t it? It makes one think Mr. Soros has been getting some solid feedback that these noisy “rapid responders” are being seen as more horrible than helpful. It should surprise no one that there hasn’t been a whisper about this in any legacy media reporting, but clearly the man who writes the checks is hearing something.
The Washington Immigrant Solidarity Network (WAISN) is decidedly anti-whistle, too. From their signal chat, as excerpted from Fox Digital:
“We show up with care and accountability, not noise or panic.”
“It is not about being the loudest, the bravest, or the most visible person on the scene or confronting immigration agents. It is a commitment to non-violence, discipline and harm reduction, centering the well-being of the most vulnerable immigrant and refugee committees in Washington.”
Sounds as though WAISN is wanting to do it right (as right as it can theoretically be done), in the style of MLK Jr.
But will the “white saviors” take heed? Heck, no.
A “rapid responder” dismissed the group’s concerns as “vaguely condescending,” arguing that while whistles might be “traumatizing,” they were surely “no worse than being actually kidnapped, or watching it happen in front of your house.”
Others framed the immigrant-led nonprofit as self-interested and risk-averse. One person sneered at the “immigrant rights nonprofit business,” while another complained about “careerists at nonprofits” who don’t put the “cause over their job.” [snip]
A separate comment derided long-term nonprofit workers as drinking the “koolaid,” labeling nonviolent, disciplined approaches as “fed coded.”
As we’ve seen in other Democrat divides, an interesting fault line is showing between the two sides. On the one side, you have old-guard Democrats, like George Soros, and on the other, you have the Democratic Socialists of America, who are hard to control, being, as they are, true believers. The irony is delicious, isn’t it? Soros has spent literally decades planting these seeds, and now he can’t control the harvest.
The controversy also exposes ideological fault lines. Since last summer, groups including the People’s Forum, the Party for Socialism and Liberation and the Democratic Socialists of America have promoted whistles as part of a broader confrontation with U.S. law enforcement. They have borrowed from whistle-blowing tactics used by socialist and communist labor union groups in Europe.
Seems Mr. Soros has some competition, too. Who’s funding the pro-whistle commie side? They
are funded by an American-born tech tycoon, Neville Roy Singham, who lives in Shanghai and supports groups that have made it their business to foment mayhem and protests in the United States, with a pro-China agenda.
So how did it all shake out?

As with everything else leftist, it’s all about appearance, not substance.
Well, blocking streets, disturbing the peace and wreaking pointless havoc doesn’t win any supporters. I’m sure all the non-ICE residents of the hotels the fascist leftists assail aren’t lining up to sign on with Stupidity Inc. Maybe THAT’S what they figured out.
I think Saudi Arabia figured out the same thing. For decades they taught in their madrasas that the West and Israel were the evil of the world. Then, as they benefitted from actual civilization thanks to oil wealth, they figured out that, no, radical Islam (Iran, for example) was the actual threat. Then, it was impossible to turn off. When you intentionally whip people up into a mouth-foaming violent frenzy, “control” is impossible.
