Disgraced lawyer Michael Cohen, who takes the stand today in former President Donald J. Trump‘s Manhattan-based hush money trial, is not the ideal witness for District Attorney Alvin Bragg‘s prosecutors. Cohen has a sordid legal history and served a prison stint for fraud, tax evasion, and lying to Congress.
COHEN THE FRAUDSTER.
In late 2018, following what appears to have been a nearly year-long investigation into tax evasion campaign finance fraud allegations, Cohen surrendered himself to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). He pleaded guilty to eight federal charges, including tax evasion, making false statements to a financial institution, violating the Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA) of 1971, and making an excessive contribution on behalf of a candidate. The last charge stems from the alleged $130,000 hush money payment to Stormy Daniels.
After his conviction, Cohen began speaking to the press through his attorney, Lanny Davis, a long-time Clinton confidant. This, arguably, marked the start of the events that would culminate in the ongoing hush money trial brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. In what appeared to be a ploy to avoid any serious jail time, Cohen sat for over 50 hours of interviews with the Mueller Investigation — with little coming of his testimony. In December 2018, a federal judge sentenced Cohen to three years in prison. The disgraced lawyer was also hit with a $50,000 fine, ordered to pay $1.4 million in restitution, and made to forfeit an additional $500,000.

At the same time, in November 2018, Cohen pleaded guilty to lying to Congress.

Credibility is not something that bears on the leftist’s agenda. They don’t care about truth, facts, the law, due process or the Constitution. This is nothing but one great, big campaign ad for Robin Ware/Robert L. Peters/JRB Ware/Pedo Peter/idiot Biden, paid for by the NY taxpayer.

All absolutely true and totally understandable, but it doesn’t matter. The idea is that it won’t matter to this jury. Trump is the bad Orange Man that is hated, not because of what he has done, but because of propaganda. This is why we have a court with a judge that doesn’t even insist a crime be actually defined in the charge, a judge that only gags the defendant while all those PROVEN to be liars are allowed to continue lying. A judge that has a daughter cashing in (literally) on the trial. A prosecutor that campaigned on “getting Trump” and, failing to be able to find any actual crime just made up some amorphous suggestion of some kind of a crime being committed somewhere. This is nothing but pure fascism. Democrats love the shit out of it.
There has yet to be one credible witness to affirm the unknown crime Trump had allegedly committed. We still do not know the underlying crime for which he is on trial.
A complete shit show. The good news is Americans have caught on land it look impossible for democrats to win in a non fraud election. Should they pull the trigger and cheat to win, the American people will not en mass accept the results.
How can a jury find a defendant guilty of a crime that has not been defined?
Nothing but corrupt liars side with the Democrats. The lowest garbage sees what they want to support in the Democrats. That’s why Democrats have a problem with their terrorist-supporting wing. What AMERICAN political party would want anti-Semitic terrorist supporters as part of their constituency?
I am coincidentally currently reading The Implosion Conspiracy, about the Rosenberg trial. It is an account of the trial, testimony, how evidence was presented, how the judge conducted the trial and how careful the judge, knowing the impact of the outcome, was to assure everything was beyond question or reproach.
What a laughable example these Democrat lawfare trials are compared to that one. Everyone on the government side just run roughshod over all rights and convention, bound and determined to reach the true goal, ultimately affecting the 2024 election.
