Biden Plans To Make Gas More Expensive Because You’re Not Poor Enough

“Did you ever think you’d be paying this much for a gallon of gas?”

That’s apparently what Joe Biden wants to know, while he and the rest of his administration do their best to make sure you’re paying even more every time you fill up the tank.

Biden’s latest play is a plan to block oil and gas drilling within 10 miles of New Mexico’s Chaco Canyon, citing the canyon’s cultural significance for local American Indian groups. Chaco Canyon National Historic Park is roughly 30,000 acres.

But banning oil and gas leases near Chaco Canyon is only the most recent in a long list of moves by the Biden administration that will hurt you at the pump.

Targeting American Pipelines

On his first day in the White House, Biden pulled the permit for the controversial Keystone XL pipeline, leading to the project’s termination in June. Meanwhile, Biden green-lighted the Russian Nord Stream 2 pipeline, a project of Putin-affiliated Matthias Warnig.

Earlier this month, Biden’s Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre signaled that the administration was preparing to target another pipeline: Michigan’s Line 5.

“The Army Corps of Engineers is preparing an environmental impact to look through this,” Jean-Pierre said last week. Line 5 provides 65 percent of propane demand to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, and 55 percent of propane for the entire state.

Fueling Inflation

Consumer prices jumped by 6.2 percent in October compared to a year before, the most staggering inflation hike Americans have seen in 30 years. Meanwhile, in the same one-year period, producer prices grew by 8.6 percent.

The Biden administration has continued to try pumping more money into the economy with multitrillion-dollar social spending plans, while the market wobbles under a growing supply chain crisis due in large part to Democrats’ attempts to shut down the economy for months.

Mandating Vaccines

Biden’s coercive press release-turned-bureaucratic mandate forcing companies with 100 or more employees to require the COVID-19 shot has caused staffing shortages across industries, exacerbating supply and production crises nearly everywhere.

“American frackers, already struggling to hire enough workers, are concerned that the coming U.S. vaccine mandate will worsen the situation at a time of rising oil and gas prices,” reported the Wall Street Journal in September.

Federalizing Land to Ban Energy Production

After using promises to end drilling on federal land as a campaign issue, Biden signed executive orders on his first week in office directing the interior secretary to stop any new oil and gas leases on federal lands.

this cornhole moron is pushing for a new green climate. little does the idiot and and the demorats that drive electric cars realize that the power to recharge these batteries are from fossil fuel. over 40% of the wind miles that allegedly generate power are now defunct. the blades in most instances, but not all, are removed and thrown on the ground around the supporting post. they are not bio-degradable. Opening up the pipelines will restore oil independence in 6-8 months and stabilize the now defuncted economy. the pedophile’s plan is going to collapse the economy.

Republican energy policy and oversight brought the people of Texas a massive and prolonged power outage last winter.

Why do you continue to prove how full of shit you are? How well do you think your beloved windmills work in an artic blast?
All you know is how to push your Socialist agenda. Of course, you have consistently refused to tell us where Socialism has actually worked.
Do you not find the irony in Bernie Sanders, a millionaire, pushing Socialism or are you really that stupid?

Republican mismanagement that left millions of Texans freezing in the dark had nothing whatsoever to do with windmills.

It also had nothing whatsoever to do with Republicans.

Sure it had to do with republicans. They even bungled their efforts at a fix. From the Texas Tribune:

…In June, Abbott signed bills lawmakers had approved aimed at ensuring the weatherization process happened. At the time, Abbott said “everything that needed to be done was done to fix the power grid.”

Senate Bill 3, which Abbott signed into law, calls for creating a committee to map out the state’s energy infrastructure by September 2022, then gives the Railroad Commission 180 days to finalize its weatherization rules.

On Tuesday, lawmakers on the Senate Business and Commerce Committee were frustrated that the new law allows natural gas companies >>>to opt out of weatherization requirements<<< if they don’t voluntarily declare themselves to be “critical infrastructure” with the state…

Apparently industry lobbyists "helped" to write the legislation.

When Dubya was pushing his “Nanny State” programs, the relevant 2 for Greg: Solar Power, win farms – he said he was Rep! IMHO he lied; but that is what he and all liberals, said!

Yeah,
Has nothing to do with closing pipelines, shutting down Anwar, restricting new exploration and contemplating shutting down a pipeline in Michigan.

greg and his ilk cheering for the destruction of America.

No, that was a natural disaster. Democrat energy policies have all failed.

Biden, an un-natural disaster, has taken away our energy independence and bowed to those who helped install him illegally into office.

He’s also DIRECTLY in control of gas prices and has raised them catastrophically.

“Republican energy policy and oversight brought the people of Texas a massive and prolonged power outage last winter.” Actually, it was the policy of following federal guidelines to have 20% of our power supply renewables. I’ve been by the vast wind farms and a sea of solar panels in west Texas.

When it got cloudy, cold, snowed and the wind stopped blowing, it all laid down… QUIT.

Indeed, that was a mistake. Fracking, natural gas and nuclear is far better.

It was failure to prepare their power plants for unusually cold weather that would predictably come, sooner or later.

From the Texas Tribune, September 28, 2021 – Texas senators blast regulator for power grid winterization loophole lawmakers wrote into law

The law says the state’s natural gas system won’t be required to prepare for extreme weather until 2022 at the earliest and allows companies to opt out of weatherization requirements.

In a committee hearing Tuesday, Texas senators were furious that natural gas companies won’t have to better prepare their facilities for extreme weather before this winter and rebuked the Texas Railroad Commission, which regulates the state’s massive oil and gas industry, for not fixing the problem sooner.

“Wait a minute,” state Sen. Robert Nichols, R-Jacksonville, told Wei Wang, executive director of the Railroad Commission. “You haven’t done it yet?”

But the “loophole” that lawmakers spent the hearing condemning and the slow timetable for winterizing the state power grid were part of legislation they approved during the regular legislative session in the spring.

Gov. Greg Abbott made weatherizing the state’s electricity generation infrastructure an emergency priority immediately after February’s deadly winter storm, which left millions without power for days in freezing weather and caused the deaths of 700 Texans, according to a BuzzFeed News analysis.

In June, Abbott signed bills lawmakers had approved aimed at ensuring the weatherization process happened.

On Tuesday, lawmakers on the Senate Business and Commerce Committee were frustrated that the new law allows natural gas companies to opt out of weatherization requirements if they don’t voluntarily declare themselves to be “critical infrastructure” with the state.

They also criticized the timelines laid out by the legislation they approved earlier this year and by the rule-making process now underway at the Railroad Commission that has made weatherizing the state’s natural gas system — a key component of the power grid — a slow, frustrating task.

Senators told Wang they want the Railroad Commission to move more quickly to require gas companies to weatherize their equipment.

“I recognize the urgency,” Wang said.

“I don’t think you do,” said state Sen. Donna Campbell, R-New Braunfels…

“It was failure to prepare their power plants for unusually cold weather that would predictably come, sooner or later.” Are you f**king kidding me? Have you ever been to Texas? This was a once in100 years cold spell, below freezing highs for a week, then snow and below zero temperatures. Conventional production sources would have been fine. Only renewables failed (one gas plant had issues, but that could easily made up for).

Remember global warming? This was NEVER supposed to happen again. The almanac called for a warm, dry winter.

You just take whatever you can get and try to transform it into whatever you think helps your failing argument. In the end, you just look stupid.

It USED TO BE a “once in 100 years cold spell”. Like regional wild fires, extended drought, 100-year floods, Category 5 hurricanes, etc, extended periods of deep cold are becoming more frequent.

Wild fires happen every year. So do floods. Two weeks of below freezing highs in Texas? Not in my lifetime.

Renewables failing caused the shortages, just like they do in Europe. If you weren’t a complete leftist sycophant idiot, you’d see it.

This is an example of Democrats with a log in their eye pointing out the speck in the Republican’s eye.

Democrats energy and infrastructure policies are worse and much more failed than anyone else.

It’s fact.

I’m afraid the exceptional ice storm in Texas means jack shit.

Properly regulated power companies in the rest of the nation didn’t leave their customers freezing in the dark.

But California has rolling brown-outs year round. I admit relying on renewables for 20% of supply is a bad idea, but is has nothing to do with bad management.

Greg
It was not unreasonable to call Dubya a Rep 24 years ago. But after his work in ’10 to defeat conservative Republicans – 2 big names: Joe miller (Alska), Steve Cooley (Cal) – I think it is more honest to say Dem. But when he was the “Nanny State” gov he did help make the rich FOB; more rich, with Wind farms and solar panels.

Inflation is rampant and only going to get worse as the price of food, gas, and other material needs sore. soon, collages will be to expensive to attend and the welfare list will grow to great length. But here are suggestion on how to weather the holidays and new year:

1. Swap out that delicious turkey for a good ol’ can o’ Spam. Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam!

2. If you’re low on funds, use that 16 cents you saved on July 4. Time to open up the ol’ July 4 coffers and splurge a little. Treat yourself!

3. Just imagine there’s food on your table like the Lost Boys in Hook. And then, you can have an awesome pretend food fight! Foooooood fiiiiiiight!!!

4. Go open one of your giant expensive freezers and get a $12 pint of gourmet ice cream. Let them eat rainbow sherbet!

5. Go back in time and exchange your fiat currency for crypto. It’s inflation-proof, and bitcoin is worth $63,692.20 $24,652.41 $76,591.03 each!

6. Go back in time and change your Biden vote to a vote for Trump. If only, if only…

7. Uninvite your in-laws. Sacrifices have to be made.

8. Why not try eating the hobbits’ legs—they’re fresh! They don’t need their legs. Much better than eating maggoty bread for three stinkin’ days. Looks like meat’s back on the menu, boys!

9. If all else fails, it’s time to sell that Charizard card that’s been in your parents’ attic since you went off to college. Look, none of us likes saying goodbye, but it’s time.

The Bee

And the WH comes out saying Americans want higher and higher gas prices along with food and other necessities.

Oh, and Americans are thrilled with bidenflation and illegal aliens crossing the border.

Biden Effect: Gas Prices in California Reach All-Time Record High at $4.68 per Gallon

Biden Effect: Gas Prices in California Reach All-Time Record High at $4.68 per Gallon

In CA electric cars are never to be charged at night because there’s no wind or solar.
These same cars are not to be charged in the daytime, either, because peak electrical useage means blackouts and brownouts if too many do so.

In the rest of the country we see these so-called “green” charging stations:comment image
Yup.
Diesel generators powering charging stations to charge green electric cars.

And, if you think you can just “take the bus,” electric green buses are being taken out of service because 1. they catch fire and 2. their real range sucks.
Bus drivers always wait until we need the bus to go on strike, too.
Joe’s minders want you home, in the cold, in the dark, unconnected and with your hand out to the gov’t for your next meal.

Trump’s energy policy made us independent, made us rich, and made other countries come to us.

Democrats are just lining the pockets of the oil lobby and the oil cartels over seas, just when WE FINALLY DIDN’T NEED THEM!

This treasonous impostor must be removed, now. He’s literally destroying our country and even those idiots who listen to CNN now see how great a President Trump was…and they want him back.

““Did you ever think you’d be paying this much for a gallon of gas?”” I’ll bet the 50 million morons that voted for him didn’t… because they are that stupid. But I fully expected it.
