I knew exactly what was going to follow in the wake of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. I also knew what wasn’t going to happen.
There would be no cities burning, no mass protests shutting down cities and roadways.
Charlie would not have wanted that.
And there’s another reason it’s not happening.
We are not like you, liberals.
Some kind of terrible event has been brewing for some time now. Violent and hateful rhetoric has been flooding the country for some time. Division became a thing under Obama, who worked very hard to make us hate one another. He wanted people to be angry and get in your face. Then there was this guy, who brought shadow of Hitler over the land in the form of democrat speech.
Semi-fascists, he called us. Garbage, he called us.
Trump is Hitler became the standard theme for the left. It became pervasive. Hitler, fascist, Gestapo. The list of democrats comparing Trump to Hitler is lengthy. It includes James Clyburn, Jerry Nadler, Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, Democratic National Committee, Jewish Democratic Council of America, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, J.B. Pritzker, Al Gore, Antjuan Seawright, Gavin Newsom. They spit it out over and over and over. They painted a target on Trump’s back and on the back of his allies as well. Yesterday was the fruit of all that rhetoric.

She says Charlie’s supporters are “full of shit.”
The godless MSNBC hosts showed they have no souls.
Dowd was fired.
The hate continued. Teachers of our young spit hate. Examples here and here. Universities are hotbeds of leftist hate. It’s where kids go to learn this viciousness from lunatic lecturers.

I really have no use for anything democrat politicians have to say now. Their words are hollow, and their hearts are cold.
Violence has been ramped up over the last decade or so. Charlie noted it when an article was published by Fox News, and he posted in on X. It spoke of the increased tolerance for violence from those on the left.
“Assassination culture is spreading on the left. Forty-eight percent of liberals say it would be at least somewhat justified to murder Elon Musk. Fifty-five percent said the same about Donald Trump. In California, activists are naming ballot measures after Luigi Mangione. The left is being whipped into a violent frenzy. Any setback, whether losing an election or losing a court case, justifies a maximally violent response. This is the natural outgrowth of left-wing protest culture tolerating violence and mayhem for years on end. The cowardice of local prosecutors and school officials have turned the left into a ticking time bomb.”
It’s actually chilling
Charlie’s assassination has crossed a line. He cannot be replaced but hopefully succeeded by another young force.
Now, to coin a phrase, we are at a turning point. We have been tolerant and do not seek violence and destruction as we saw after George Floyd’s death. As much as I loathe the authors of the above, I would not wish death or ill on any of them. Nor would I revel in their demises. We are not like you, liberals.
We are better.
But make no mistake. This is probably the last time.
