A horrific shooting took place today in Minneapolis. Two children were killed and 17 others were wounded. The gunman was one 17-year-old Robin Westman who took his own life afterward.

A lot of stupid things were said in the aftermath. After many expressed their prayers, Minneapolis Jacob Frey said “Don’t just say this is about thoughts and prayers right now: these kids were literally praying.” In the wake of the tragedy, democrats have to decided to settle on ridiculing religion.

Why not pray for the wounded survivors if you believe in it? BTW, on one of the magazines the killer wrote “Where is you God?”

The loathsome Jen Psaki made a complete ass of herself.

Before the bodies were cold, CT Sen Dick Blumenthal found a camera and the head of the parade.

My heart breaks for the students at Annunciation Catholic School & their loved ones. Our children deserve to be safe no matter where they are, but especially at school.
And, of course,
The need for commonsense gun violence prevention is urgent. The Senate must take action.
Blumenthal never has a solution. He just vogues for posterity and campaign ads.
Anyone else remember TIm Walz saying he made friends with school shooters?

The shooter, Robin Westman, was a transsexual woman. He made a video containing great details about his life and his plans.

The video is full of terrible images

There were anti-Semitic rantings, yet Westman chose to murder Catholic children.

In the video, Westman elucidates precisely the problem at hand:

“I have wanted this for so long. I am not well. I am a sad person haunted by these things that won’t go away. I know this is wrong but I cannot seem to stop myself.  I am severely depressed and have been suicidal for years.”

and

“I want to die”

That could not be clearer. This is mental illness.

Specifically, it is depression. There is no way on Earth his parents were unaware of his condition. There have been vicious remarks made about transsexual people in X and elsewhere. It’s understandable to a point but it misses the critical issue- mental illness. It is prevalent among trans individuals. From Grok:

Mental illness runs through all mass shooters (Adam Lanza of Sandy Hook was mentally ill. This is from 2018).  Transsexualism has manifest itself in mass multiple shootings.

I am really bothered by something- how on Earth did a 17-year-old amass the arsenal this kid had? I have a very hard time accepting that his parents were unaware of it all.  In Minnesota one must be 18 years old to purchase long rifles and shotguns and 21 years of age to purchase a handgun.
The country needs to come to grips with the fact that trans kids are highly likely to have mental issues, and the drugs administered to them for their “gender affirming care” won’t make things better.

When they tell us they’re depressed and mentally ill, we absolutely need to believe them- especially the trans community.
And make damn certain they don’t have access to weapons.
Pure speculation here. Westman’s mother worked at the school associated with the church. That was the connection. But why shoot kids? IMO Westman targeted those kids because they were everything he was not and could never be- happy.
We as a nation have to pay closer attention to mental illness. Over the next several days I think we’re going to hear from people who knew Westman and his dark secrets. And as with Adam Lanza, we will learn that Westman’s parents were in in denial about their son.

Note: The media once again fails Trust 101. Listen to this imbecile make it sound as if the shooter supported Donald Trump. The shooter wanted Donald Trump dead.

That’s kind of an important detail.

I try not to jump to conclusions in these cases, even while everyone else does. I was sure, though, that this was either a Muslim, a tranny, an anti-religious zealot or just some random Trump-hating lunatic. I also figured it could be a combination of any or all of those. Confirmation wasn’t long coming.

People undergoing gender dysphoria treatments that don’t include therapy need to be registered, just like criminals. Not saying they ARE criminals, but they should not be allowed to purchase weapons. It should appear on the background check, just like any other disqualification.
