Biden: “Look at me! I can be Donald Trump too!”

Multiple polls are showing Joe Biden sinking into the abyss. Biden has been in denial about those polls for some time.

President Biden is not convinced by recent polls that show he is facing a difficult election fight against former President Trump in November, and neither are many in his orbit.

Some Democrats think Biden’s in “denial” about his difficult posture and not taking his position seriously enough, according to Axios.

“The polling data has been wrong all along. How many — you guys do a poll at CNN,” Biden told CNN last week. “How many folks you have to call to get one response?”

At a campaign reception event in California on May 10, Biden similarly claimed that the media was covering up polling that showed he was beating Trump.

The polls are real. People are gravitating toward Trump more every day. As Trump is persecuted on a daily basis, they find something in common with him.

Reality has finally taken hold, and panic has set in at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. So much so that Biden has decided to put on his best Trump impersonation.

Biden once hammered Trump for imposing tariffs on Chinese products. Now he is building on those tariffs.

Although the Biden administration won’t admit it, new tariffs on China announced Tuesday represent a major shift for President Joe Biden.

Back in 2019, Biden slammed then-President Donald Trump‘s move to impose tariffs on $300 billion worth of Chinese imports.

“Trump doesn’t get the basics. He thinks his tariffs are being paid by China,” Biden said at the time. “Any freshman econ student could tell you that the American people are paying his tariffs.”

Then in 2020, while campaigning for the White House, Biden vowed to remove Trump’s tariffs if elected.

Of course, Biden is doing it wrong.

Carney said, “Biden is not serious about this China trade issue at all. In fact his tariffs are so weak they will do nothing to reset trade relationship with China.”

He continued, “China depends on the U.S. buying its over capacity. It is still going to depend on U.S. buying its over capacity. The people who will be hurt here, it is not consumers, it is not going to raise prices, tariffs don’t do that we saw that under Trump. You know who will be hurt, will be other manufacturers in U.S, who are making non-protected products that China will dump on to us because they still need to run their trade deficit, our trade surplus against us.”

The best part of Biden’s transparent and poorly executed impersonation is his sham concern for border security. Biden totally dismantled the border security Trump had in place and for the last almost four years Biden and the muppet have been telling the American people that Biden does not have the authority or power he needs to secure the border. That is to say, when Mayorkas wasn’t telling us that the border is secure.

In January, Biden insisted that lawmakers had to approve the border bill before he could take further action to limit illegal immigration, telling reporters he had “done all I can do.”

“Just give me the power. I’ve asked from the very day I got into office,” he said at the time. “Give me the Border Patrol, give me the people, the judges — give me the people who can stop this and make it work right.”

Something odd just happened. Biden opened a magical box somewhere and in it was the power. Armed with it, Biden let us know that he would take unilateral action to shut the border.

Under certain conditions.

President Biden is planning executive action that would allow him to shut down the US-Mexico border once the number of migrant crossings reaches 4,000 per day, a source close to the White House told The Post Wednesday.

The order would match a provision in the bipartisan border bill that failed to pass the Senate in February, which gave the president authority to expel migrants when border crossings reached the same daily average.

The legislative proposal would have given the homeland security secretary discretionary authority to carry out removals — but would have made deportations mandatory when illegal entries surpassed 5,000 per day over a one-week period.

The bill allowed for the suspension of that authority two weeks after the seven-day average falls to 75% of those levels.

Obviously, this isn’t really much of a solution. 4,000 illegals per day is 1.5 million per year, getaways not included. The larger issue is that Biden once again proves himself a liar who has become a cheap lounge room Trump impersonator.

And that Trump was right all along.
