Full cards on the table – DeSantis is my first choice. I don’t like President Trump’s floor of how many people will vote against him no matter what, and his problem with personnel decisions has not gone away (Ronna Romney McDaniel? Seriously?). That said, I stand by what I said back in May that While the 2024 Election is Still Already Over, I’ve Decided that Trump Needs to be the Nominee (And yes, this was just one week after I argued that Trump could not be the GOP nominee). Sadly, everything I wrote then has held up quite well.
