Will Biden actually ever do anything to help Americans?

Joe Biden, a self-described dictator,  has issued at least 22 Executive Orders and has yet to really do anything positive for the American people.

These are all wrong, but this one is pure lunacy. The left is always telling us to “follow the science.” The science is that biologic males are bigger, stronger and faster than biologic females. Biologic males are XY, biologic females are XX. That is the science. The rest is social experimentation. XX should compete with each and XY should compete with each other. That’s it. What Biden has done is gross injustice to women. You are not what you think you want to be. You are what you are. And then there’s this

Trans woman jailed for 15 years for rape that still gives victim nightmares

Plus

  • He canceled the Keystone pipeline and its 11,000 jobs
  • Biden rescinded the travel ban on terrorist sponsoring nations
  • He ordered the border wall and its 5000 jobs shut down
  • He jacked up the price of insulin and Epi-pens.
  • Biden rescinds Trump order banning Chinese Communist involvement in US power grid

China steals as much as $600 billion a year in Intellectual Property from the US. But then, Biden is a champion of Communist China. And you don’t want to mess with the family business.

Hunter Biden Continues To Hold Stake In Chinese Private Equity Firm, Records Show, Despite Reports That He Was Planning To Divest

Both the Daily Mail and Fox News reported in late December that Hunter Biden was in the process of offloading his stake in BHR. Both outlets cited an unnamed source with Hunter Biden and his business dealings.

But Hunter Biden continues to hold his equity stake in BHR through his company, Skaneateles LLC, as of Wednesday, according to Qixinbao and Baidu, two independent services that provide business records on Chinese corporations based on China’s National Credit Information Publicity System.

Absolutely none of these helps regular Americans and most of them hurt working Americans. They are good for China and for terrorist sponsoring nations. Joe Biden is an a**hole and frankly so is anyone who voted for him.

Will Biden ever do anything positive for the country?

I doubt it.

@retire05: Stll waitin’ for Biden to do anything for Americans.

@retire05:

You see, he has been telling you for years that he supports the Cult of Collectivism. Not the individualism that our nation was built on. In Communists like Comrade Greggie, it doesn’t matter if a few eggs are broken for an omlet.

Your pitch for “individualism” is oddly in the service of a system that allows the wealthiest eight people in the world to collectively possess as much as the entire bottom 50 percent of the world’s population, which is hardly conducive to increased opportunity for the average individual. It’s turning financiers and the rulers of corporations into the equivalent of feudal lords. Government should counterbalance that trend to the benefit of the common man, not facilitate it.

I would suggest that modifying that situation by way of a more aggressive progressive tax schedule to fund beneficial social programs and infrastructure improvements is not the equivalent of communism.

Pedophilia exists, but the QAnon conspiracy theories about it are totally nuts. You’re buying into their craziness whether you know it or not. It has got a firm grip on the minds of Trump’s activists, even when they don’t know where it’s coming from. What do you think Michael Flynn’s little home video suggests? To my mind, the question is whether he’s been taken in himself, or only sees an exploitable power lever. Neither is a recommendation for the guy.

I think this is some sort of mass psychological displacement phenomenon related to the very real and very serious societal threat of the pandemic, which the same people are having tremendous difficultly acknowledging. With new variants rapidly emerging, we’re nowhere near being out of the woods yet. Essentially the virus keeps rolling the genetic dice, randomly searching for just the right combination.

@Greg:

Your pitch for “individualism” is oddly in the service of a system that allows the wealthiest eight people in the world to collectively possess as much as the entire bottom 50 percent of the world’s population, which is hardly conducive to increased opportunity for the average individual.

Actually, my support for individualism has nothing to do with your wealth envy.

It’s turning financiers and the rulers of corporations into the equivalent of feudal lords.

And your side of the aisle is doing exactly what to end the power and control over the lives of individuals who have been created by Silicon Valley? Supporting cancel culture only benefits your far left side of the aisle.

I would suggest that modifying that situation by way of a more aggressive progressive tax schedule to fund beneficial social programs and infrastructure improvements is not the equivalent of communism.

It actually is Marxism. I am not a believer in “social” programs as I believe them to be unconstitutional. And infrastructure improvements should be the purview of the states, not the nation. You are a believer because you believe in wealth redistribution.

But there is a problem with your philosophy; you can’t create total equality in wealth. How do you make yourself equal to Michael Jordan? You can’t legislate equality in intelligence, talent, mental/physical ability, ingenuity or personal ambition. But, in your mind, that should not matter consequently the 4’10” under-educated Mexican lady who works as a waitress should make as much money as someone with the brilliance of Tesla.

Pedophilia exists,

Yes, but you seem reluctant to speak out against it.

but the QAnon conspiracy theories about it are totally nuts.

I am unaware of the “conspiracy theories” of which you speak.

You’re buying into their craziness whether you know it or not. It has got a firm grip on the minds of Trump’s activists, even when they don’t know where it’s coming from.

For someone who professes to be so sick of Trump, you seem hell bent on taking about him and those that support him. And you, like your buttbuddy, Ward/AJ, feel the need to dehumanize those you disagree with. Again, another Marxist tactic.

@Greg:

I see you have, once again, rethought your post and added to it trying to make a larger impact.

Government should counterbalance that trend to the benefit of the common man, not facilitate it.

Government should stay out of the lives of citizens more than it does. And you, like all leftists, misrepresent who actually is the “common man.” You need to study history more than you do.

What do you think Michael Flynn’s little home video suggests?

Have not seen it so I will not comment. But basically, I’m not interested in any of YOUR “conspiracy” theories.

If you are so worried about the Chinese flu, I suggest you become a hermit and remain inside your cave. In spite of your doubts, humanity will survive.

Actually, my support for individualism has nothing to do with your wealth envy.

I have no wealth envy nor wealth worship. Those who do are never content, no matter how much they have.

And your side of the aisle is doing exactly what to end the power and control over the lives of individuals who have been created by Silicon Valley?

Silicon Valley only creates and produces technology, most of which is enormously useful and enormously beneficial to economic growth and activity. There’s nothing about it that I believe the government should be ending. The government does have business regulating how such technology is used. Republicans often resist such regulation.

But there is a problem with your philosophy; you can’t create total equality in wealth.

I’ve never suggested that anyone can, or should. Equity and equality are two very different things.

Yes, but you seem reluctant to speak out against it.

I don’t approve of people hanging that label on someone when there’s no real evidence backing it up. The whole Pizzagate conspiracy theory was stupid beyond belief. Right-wing social media idiot-herders have simply taken the label and stuck it on Joe Biden to create a basis for personal attack. I am reluctant to dignify their slander by arguing about it with them. It only gives them more attention.

I am unaware of the “conspiracy theories” of which you speak.

They’ve become part of the contents of your head. Trump, his stooges, and his media tools were repeating them on social media. You’re simply unaware of where they’ve originated.

Have not seen it so I will not comment.

That’s entirely understandable. It would only take up 53 seconds of your time. But then you would have to think about the implications of what you just heard.

For someone who professes to be so sick of Trump, you seem hell bent on taking about him and those that support him.

I don’t profess. I truly am sick everything to do with him. I’ll stop worrying about him when he and his followers stop representing a threat to the peace and stability of the nation. Holding him responsible for the consequences of his words and actions would be helpful to that end, but the GOP still can’t work up the courage. It’s altogether pathetic.

@Greg:

I have no wealth envy nor wealth worship.

Your words say differently.

Silicon Valley only creates and produces technology, most of which is enormously useful and enormously beneficial to economic growth and activity. There’s nothing about it that I believe the government should be ending. The government does have business regulating how such technology is used. Republicans often resist such regulation.

It is Silicon Valley, and it’s kings, that are suppressing free speech. But then, Marxists like you are not worried about free speech for those who disagree with you. Republicans are the ones demanding that Facebook, Twitter, et al, all be forced to abide by the rules that grants them the right to exist as they currently do. I’m sure you want the cancel culture to continue on those venues.

I don’t approve of people hanging that label on someone when there’s no real evidence backing it up.

Even when there is evidence, if that person is a Democrat, you will defend them.

They’ve become part of the contents of your head. Trump, his stooges, and his media tools were repeating them on social media. You’re simply unaware of where they’ve originated.

You are making a judgement about me for which you are not qualified. You don’t know me, have never met me and still you attempt to dehumanize me by claiming something you have no capability of knowing.

I’ll stop when he and his followers stop representing a threat to the peace and stability of the nation.

Trump provided this nation with peace, peace we have not seen since 9/11/2001. Beijing Biden will force us back into endless wars that we cannot possibly win.

Holding him responsible for the consequences of his words and actions would be helpful to that end

And what about the words of Maxine Waters, Chuck Schumer, AOC, Ilhan Omar, Kamala Harris and the rest of the radical leftists including the words of Nancy Pelosi just this week? I assume those inciteful words are just peachy with you.

@Greg:

Equity and equality are two very different things.

Do enlighten us on what twisted definition the left has now given Equity.
I would say I own my home so have 100% home equity. That actually took time, effort and wasn’t granted to me by the government.

In this context, equity implies fairness, justice, and impartiality, while
equality implies a sameness of result. There’s nothing at all “twisted” about the distinction.

An equitable economic system doesn’t guarantee equal results; only that the system isn’t rigged in such a way as to strongly favor some people at the expense of others who are unfairly exploited.

Given human nature in general, and the fact that some people are possessed of unbridled acquisitiveness and greed that no level of wealth will ever satisfy, any system where wealth can be used to buy more power and power can be used to acquire more wealth requires a redistribute mechanism to keep the greediest bastards from acquiring everything and ruling everybody. A progressive tax schedule serves that purpose well.

That’s not a communist or socialist perspective. It’s common sense.

@Greg: .Implies? no I am seeking definition, how will the government deliver on this? We see they failed to deliver on the equality with every expensive and moronic rules they tried and doubled down on.

@Greg:

In this context, equity implies fairness, justice, and impartiality, while equality implies a sameness of result. There’s nothing at all “twisted” about the distinction.

That’s nothing more than Newspeak, Comrade Greggie.

Will we all be treated with “equity?” Or will we see others treated with more equity than others due to the color of their skin as is the Democrats play book? When BLM states, without reservation, that they are using the playbook of the Black Panthers, why are they not called “black” supremacists?

But then, why bother with you when you refuse to address questions put to you like “How do you make yourself equal to Michael Jordan?”

@retire05: His mish mash of word salad implies that 2 persons born equal, saddled with about 84K share of government debt. One is ambitious bright and gains a strong foothold but the other is slothful dumb and gains nothing is given the ambitious ones gains after level the government will determine.
You will all own nothing and be happy.

The shyster who just got rejected by a margin of 7.8 million votes—because a 2-million-vote popular election loss somehow didn’t do it the first time around—just presided over a $2.5 trillion upward transfer of wealth to the richest 1 percent. This he accomplished by slashing taxes to stimulate the hell out of an already recovered economy. In the process his policies have added an additional $7.8 trillion to the national debt over the same 4-year period, and left a COVID-19 challenged economy again teetering on the brink.

Oh yeah… And we have no emergency measures left now other than even more deficit spending, because the measures taken to stimulate the hell out of an already recovered economy also involved pushing interest rates so low that they can’t be pushed much lower, and keeping them there.

Once again, you don’t understand that you’ve just been robbed. You’re happy to have been thrown a few thousand in tax savings. Meanwhile, the multi-billionaire’s individual take from the tax cuts was ENORMOUS, and the multi-billionaire’s individual share of the national debt is no greater than that of a checkout girl working at Walmart. If Social Security or Medicare have to be cut, they don’t care. They don’t need them.

The astonishing thing is that this same scam can be pulled again and again, and some people never get it. If anyone suggests there’s a problem with the tax schedule, they’re a commie or a socialist.

@Ronald J. Ward:
You really have very little comprehension. Go and read what I said previously again, but do it slower. Maybe something will sink in.
Biden acting to unemploy construction workers will have what effect on the climate? What are the numbers based on science?
You don’t have any do you?
I guess you believe there should be no construction jobs because they are only temporary. Didn’t Obama promote TEMPORARY shovel ready jobs? Even FDR had a bunch of TEMPORARY construction jobs during his tenure.
Why do you hate construction workers?
You really need to go shopping today, buy a clue.

https://nypost.com/2021/01/30/bidens-climate-executive-orders-devastated-these-us-workers/

@Greg: Your understanding of economics is nearsighted. My interpretation of the new equity must be correct.
Yes there was a huge transfer of wealth, to the oligarchs that donated heavily to Democrats.
Interesting after a briefing on the China virus Liz Warren bought up shares in zoom at about $73 today at $372. just before Jobama took office and said the US government fleet would be electric Nancy Pelosis husband loaded up on Tesla stock at 500 a share its at 793 today.
They also have their undies in a wad about the little people beating the hedge fund political donors. Joe and his job killing pen with zero shovel ready green jobs.
Lowering taxes so businesses stop fleeing the country or have everything made in Asia with slave labor and no environmental pollution checks or quality control.

@Mully:

Go and read what I said previously again, but do it slower. Maybe something will sink in.

Rather than ignore what’s already been presented on this subject, I would suggest to you to- go and read what I said previously again, but do it slower. Maybe something will sink in.

FDR’s job creations resulted in highways, bridges, man made lakes, dams, and a wide range of infrastructure. That investment resulted in marinas, motels, dining, tourism, and more. Generations of lifelong jobs were created which many are still thriving businesses today.

Obama’s “shovel ready” comment I assume refers to the 2009 $800 billion stimulus which Trump falsely claimed: “There was a very large infrastructure bill that was approved during the Obama administration, $1 trillion, and nobody ever saw anything being built. To this day I haven’t heard of anything that’s been built. They took this money and used it on social programs.”.

Aside from Trump falsely adding an extra $200 billion, this was a rushed bill because at the time, unemployment was at 8% and rising by the second, the housing market was in free fall, the automotive industry at a stand still. and the banking industry in a near predicament as the Great Depression, Trump’s claim has been easily slapped down my about every fact-checker.

For starters, the Obama admin was highly criticized for money spent on signage advertising construction areas so Trump’s lie that “nobody ever saw anything being built.” is incorrect.

The Transportation Department’s website maintained a list of stimulus projects, from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act including “initiated more than 13,000 projects through the Federal Highway Administration, improving more than 42,000 miles of road and more than 2,700 bridges.”

MICHAEL GRABELL: The stimulus package was the largest economic recovery plan in history. You look at all these major programs in history – the moon race, the Manhattan Project, the WPA – the stimulus was bigger than all of these things. And so it begs the question, you know: What did we accomplish with all of this money, which it turns out to be about $800 billion.

The quick action of Obama and Democrats is what lifted the GOP and GWB ruined economy from the ashes and ultimately handed con man Don a sound economy which he (as republicans do) promtly destroyed and left for Dems to once again repair. And again, just like in 2009, with Regressives doing all they can to sabotage all efforts for political gain.

The difference in the New Deal and the 2009 Dem stimulus from Keystone is that Keystone’s ultimate goal is to reduce cost (ultimately by cheaper transporting which equates to less jobs) in order to make big oil more profit. FDR and Obama’s initiatives ultimately created and/or maintained jobs.

I understand Biden haters can’t fantom reality and that you nourish on propaganda that fuels outrage and indignation from you of who you’ve been instructed to deem your opponent.

But facts are just facts. Trump is gone and Biden and Dems don’t have time to tolerate the rabid right’s hatred of women or Muslims or brown people or gay people or that Jewish laser beams are controlling us from space.

Wail and gnash my friend while the grown ups again clean up the mess of a colossal mistake of a con man presidency and corporately owned GOP.

You really are bent aren’t you. Canada will sell the product pipeline or no pipeline. Rail is not as safe and uses more fossil fuels. Biden killed it in the interest of climate change. https://www.newyorker.com/news/daily-comment/joe-bidens-cancellation-of-the-keystone-pipeline-is-a-landmark-in-the-climate-fight
So as I have asked before just how will it affect the global temperature by stopping it? What does the science say in numbers? Well we know it won’t do anything. In fact according to John Kerry even zero won’t’ solve the problem.
https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/stacey-lennox/2021/01/28/climate-czar-john-kerry-says-tens-of-thousands-of-jobs-will-be-cut-for-zero-benefit-n1416710

We have over 2 million miles of pipeline now in the USA. All were built using construction workers. Those were temporary jobs. Which ones of those got your panties in a wad during construction?

Corporately owned GOP? Is that like Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Jack Dorsey or Warren Buffet? Oh those are DemocRATS.

Quick action by Obama saved the economy in 2009? That’s rich. We were told if we didn’t pass his stimulus unemployment would go above 10 per cent. It passed, unemployment still went above 10 per cent. Something on the order of 95 per cent of all jobs created under Obama were part time or gig economy. He is the father of the 29 hour work week, thanks Obamacare. Obama was in the senate when the housing bubble occurred. Did he warn of of impending doom? Nope. He was in there pushing for more loans to people with poor credit who couldn’t pay it back. He was a big pal of ACORN. Here’s a trip down memory lane from a liberal writer who at the time noticed something a lot of us did.
http://www.ornery.org/essays/warwatch/2008-10-05-1.html

@Mully: Barrys 800 million dollar stimulus crated fewer job in its first year than beliveved Elvis was still Alive, a running joke. Road improvements isnt that what the gas tax is supposed to be used for?
Biden didnt kill the pipeline for climate he killed it so Buffet could continue to make billions shipping it and contribute to democrats. The old you scratch my back I’ll sniff your wife errrr scratch the dog ummm you know the thing.

@Ronald J. Ward:

To compare this bailout to FDR’s CCC efforts is pure insanity. One gave visible results that are still standing. The other is pie-in-the-sky goals that did nothing to stop the bleeding.

The Transportation Department’s website maintained a list of stimulus projects, from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act including “initiated more than 13,000 projects through the Federal Highway Administration, improving more than 42,000 miles of road and more than 2,700 bridges.”

There is a federal highway not too far from my home. Shortly after the ARRA was passed, a sign went up telling travelers that so many miles of the highway would soon be under improvement construction compliments of the Obama Administration. After a couple of years, the sign disappeared and no construction was ever done.

So perhaps you would like to give us a list of those “42,000 miles of road and more than 2,700 bridges” that were improved? And perhaps you don’t know the difference between initiation and actual physical construction. I suggest you learn the difference because “initiation” is political Newspeak. Of course, I fully expect you to tell me to look it up myself, fully knowing that the list of completed projects has long since disappeared from the web.

The quick action of Obama and Democrats is what lifted the GOP and GWB ruined economy

Like Comrade Greggie, you want to lay blame where it doesn’t belong because the GOP, and even President Bush, are your mortal enemies. I suggest you read Anatomy of A Train Wreck that was written in 2009 by an economist far more learned and intelligent that you.

Trump is gone and Biden and Dems don’t have time to tolerate the rabid right’s hatred of women or Muslims or brown people or gay people or that Jewish laser beams are controlling us from space.

Yet, you still seem to have plenty of time to hate on those who hold different political views than you do. No surprise. Hate is the currency of the left.
