Kaepernick is an absolute hypocrite dirtbag

If you will remember, Colin Kaepernick began kneeling during the national anthem about three years ago. Why? Social justice, he said.

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick says he refused to stand during the national anthem Friday because of his views on the country’s treatment of racial minorities.

“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” Kaepernick told NFL Mediaafter Friday’s game. “To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”

The 49ers acknowledged in a statement that Kaepernick sat on the team’s bench during the national anthem before their game against the Green Bay Packers.

It was all about the national anthem, you see. Not the flag.

“The national anthem is and always will be a special part of the pregame ceremony,” the statement said. “It is an opportunity to honor our country and reflect on the great liberties we are afforded as its citizens. In respecting such American principles as freedom of religion and freedom of expression, we recognize the right of an individual to choose to participate, or not, in our celebration of the national anthem.”

Or maybe he’s full of sh*t.

Nike pulled the Air Max 1 USA shoe, which included a Revolutionary-era U.S. flag with 13 white stars in a circle on the heel. Kaepernick reached out to Nike after learning they planned to release the sneaker to explain that the flag recalls an era when black people were enslaved and that it has been appropriated by white nationalist groups, a person familiar with the conversation told The Associated Press.

The person requested not to be named because the conversation was intended to be private.

Nike decided to recall the shoe after it had been already sent to retailers to go on sale this week for the July Fourth holiday, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Liberals could not wait to prove how stupid they could be

Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Live,” Georgetown University sociology professor Michael Eric Dyson compared the Betsy Ross American flag with the 13 stars representing the original colonies to the Nazi swastika and a burning Ku Klux Klan cross.

While discussing Nike canceling a release of shoes featuring the Ross flag after former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick objected, Dyson said, “It hails from the revolutionary period of this nation’s founding which was deeply embroiled in, you know in enslavement, of the owners of slaves, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and the like. But also it’s the recent use of this flag that has been the most opprobrious. Right-wing white supremacists have used it as a rallying cry for their own cause. None of these flags are set in stone. It’s the moral ecology of the time. Right now this flag has been used by people who want to pummel African-Americans, Latinos, Jews and other people, Neo-Nazis that want to claim that they have the true copyright on American identity. So why not choose a flag that is representative of everybody? The diversity of identities, ideologies, people of color and mainstream people who exist in this country? That’s the kind of blowback against the use of this particular flag.”

And this blowhard

Democratic presidential hopeful Julián Castro on Wednesday praised Nike’s controversial decision to pull shoes featuring the Betsy Ross flag, saying the early flag design that represents the Thirteen Colonies evokes pain among some Americans, much like Confederate symbols.

“I was glad to see that,” the former Housing and Urban Development Secretary said on CBS News about Nike’s decision to scrap the Betsy Ross design, the Washington Free Beacon reported. “And my hope is that they didn’t just do it to do it — that they understand the significance there.

“Look, there are a lot of things in our history that are still very painful — the Confederate flag that still flies in some places and is used as a symbol,” Mr. Castro continued. “And I believe that we need to move toward an inclusive America that understands that pain — that doesn’t wipe it away from history in the sense that it still belongs in a museum, or we need to read about it and understand the significance, because that’s how you learn and make sure that we don’t make the same mistakes in the future — but does not glorify it, does not celebrate it.”

You know how I always say liberals have zero long term memory?

That flag didn’t seem to bother Kaepernick, obama or any of these other morons when it flew over obama’s second inaugural.

Kaepernick is a bastard who hates the cops, hates America, and hates the people in it.

So why not choose a flag that is representative of everybody?

How about the current flag with 50 stars? That flag is well post-slavery and is the flag that flew when the Civil Rights Acts were passed. Well, no… Krappernick hates that one, too.

Democratic presidential hopeful Julián Castro on Wednesday praised Nike’s controversial decision to pull shoes featuring the Betsy Ross flag, saying the early flag design that represents the Thirteen Colonies evokes pain among some Americans, much like Confederate symbols.

So why doesn’t he denounce Nike for making the shoes in the first place and demand an apology? Oh… that’s right. Because he doesn’t actually BELIEVE any of the garbage that dumps out of his mouth; he just doesn’t want to be left off the left wing racist bandwagon.

AZ has pulled its tax break agreement to NIKE make your anti american crap elsewhere or pay full taxes. https://www.cnbc.com/2019/07/02/arizona-to
Why companies make such stoooopid business decisions.

@kitt: I hope Nike suffers tremendous economic pain for their gutlessness. Sure, many foreign slave workers might lose their jobs, but they’ll find another dollar-a-day job to replace it.

@Deplorable Me: People burnt their Nikes when he was hired and any jerseys and sportswear made any Nike.

OK, this kind of crap just sends me over the edge. So let’s get a few things straight, shall we?

Yes, America had slavery. The first slaves were sold OUT of the country, not brought in. American Indians were sold into slavery, before the first African slave was brought in to the country. The first slave (called an indentured servant) that was given to his master for life was white, not black. Research what color his master was. African tribes, in war with other tribes, sold their captives to the slave traders who rarely went inland to get the slaves. Remember the port that Obama said was where all the slaves were put on ship? Where is the history being taught that blacks were selling other blacks? It’s not.

And why are black school children not being taught about the free blacks that fought in the War for Independence? Hello, Salem Poor??? He fought under the Betsy Ross flag.

What about the free blacks in our early times that owned slaves? No mention of them from Michael Eric Dyson. He should demand his college tuition back since Princeton failed to educate him. Or maybe he is just another poverty pimp in the mold of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.

And then there are the Buffalo Soldiers, who are so canonized they have their own museum, in Houston, no less. What was their objective? To drive the Apache into Mexico and to annihilate the Native American tribes. Are black students taught that? Hell, no.

I am not going to accept the sins of my ancestors unless everyone does, and that includes the genocide committed by the Buffalo Soldiers and black slave owners. My people were shoved on land that no one else wanted, not allowed to be free and own land like blacks were after the Civil War. Hell, take a look at when Native Americans were even allowed to vote. And I am frankly sick to death of this crap put out by those like Kaepernick who was raised by middle class white parents that cared enough about him to adopt him. Notice, Kaepernick never talks about the hardships he suffered as a black child in the U.S…….because he suffered no hardships.

I will never buy another pair of Nike shoes. EVER. And I will not accept that this nation is bad because some African tribalists decided to sell their captives into slavery.

@retire05: Liberals literally LOOK for things to hate about this country. When they can’t find any legitimate reason to bitch, they make them up.

@Deplorable Me:

And let’s not forget who Julian Castro is; the evil spawn of his Marxist mother who co-founded La Raza Unita that supports the Atzlan movement.

Just Go Away Kaepernick your unwelcome just move to Africa and go live as a hermit so you wont bother anyone again no Tribe there would want you in their village

Nike lets Kaepernick lead them around as if they have hooks in their jaws attached to his leash.
The Dems running for office have put AOC in the same role as leader, even if unofficially.
So, what’s the downside?
It’s huge for Lefties.
They keep veering further Left until they are painted into a tiny corner.
And they keep expressing such hatred for America (even her military and it’s tanks being at a parade site) that there’s no danger of them picking up votes from any on the right, in the middle or even moderately on the left!
No way they can sweep all this anti-Americanism under the rug in time for the General Election.

@Nan G: And then you just watch; when the Democrat the DNC has selected is revealed and the general campaign begins, all this far, far, far, far leftist garbage will be forgotten and, as Obama did, the flag lapel pin will return to the merely far left Democrat that can appeal to some other than communists. Slimy, filthy liars.

Happy 4th, everyone!

If you are in the apparel decoration business and purchase from Sanmar, you might want to let them know that you’ll be taking your business elsewhere until they stop carrying Nike. I’m a little business and my 20k a year may not be much but multiply that times 1,000 and it’s going to sting.

so the gov of AZ pulled all incentives-? is liberal nike going to stay in AZ of move? anyway you cut it, the racist pieces of dog shit just cost them a bundle of money.

@MOS #8541: I can see he perfect logic of telling them they get no tax breaks. They make sports wear, they have no business getting involved with social engineering.
If they go elsewhere who wants leftists to move in anyway.
Perhaps they shouldnt use Chinese slave labor to make Betsy Ross flag shoes. AZ wont have to worry about migrant child slave labor enforcement.

@kitt: Newsome said they could come to California, if they want to.

Yeah… right.
