All the insulting accusations the left use against Trump they have to invent. It is always entertaining to respond to any of them with “Yeah? How so?” Always the response is, “Well, if I have to EXPLAIN it, you wouldn’t understand anyway.”
It’s not that they don’t think through the consequences of their actions; they just don’t give a damn if anyone gets hurt.
We could very well have reached the point of no return. The existence of ANTIFA and how the media will not report about them honestly is a tell. Violence is OK, as long as it is left wing political violence. Is there a scenario where anyone sees the left, without the media telling them to, retreating from their advance towards socialism?

A couple of things; it takes a person with a strong, strong work ethic to work hard and do a good job for the sake of working hard and doing a good job. Government employees rarely have this ethic and there is motivation from the fear of losing their jobs. However, I have been through numerous reduction in force at work and rarely are the employees hired back simply when business picks up just to previous levels. Only when the rate rises above the previous levels are employees added back. Why? Because we learn to get the job done with what we have. Think it through, government employees.
Conversely, one wonders why Obama’s approvals were not in the 90’s since the media never reported on his failures, lies or scandals.
Catering to a small group simply because they whine the loudest is not a smart business model.
Remind me again who tries to oppress free speech?
Imagine having to clean and square everything away for the likes of Pelosi and Schiff. It’s like sending the message that we actually want to PUNISH them for serving their country. All that work so they can do a ten minute walk-thru, hurrying to get the onerous task out of the way so the taxpayer-funded vacation can get started in earnest. Truly, Trump loves the troops.

This reminds me of debating a couple of Lefties on Facebook a few years ago over Obamacare. The first was an actual journalist in the health care field, while the second was always a Lefty put could talk like a grownup on economic issues until he went full Libtard when Obama came into office. I transcribed our exchange in a piece I wrote a few years ago:
But months before this last guy I got into it with two more leftists, the argument over success of Obamacare. This led to two more questions from me, the first involved trying to get one guy to explain how he determined that “the curve is bending downward.” When he kept regurgitating White House talking points I asked him to what data or study he used to quantify that claim his response was:
“There are figures (Bob), I have seen things; suggest you Google them. I speak in generalities only to point you in the right direction. I’m not doing hours of research to try to convince someone who is motivated only by hatred if the president”
The second guy responded to my question of how many enrollments in Obamacare were needed to considered a success. The response I got was:
“A large number of people who previously didn’t now have insurance. That was the goal. That was the success. Period. Full stop.”
Basically the two responses were “I’m right – go google it”, and “It doesn’t matter. The law is awesome because I say it is”. Not coincidentally, this was the point where I realized both of these guys were completely full of dung and stopped taking anything they said on the subject seriously.

Having worked as a govt. contractor for years now I’ve seen all kinds of govvies. Some were some of the smartest, hardworking people I’ve worked alongside. And while not as many as one might suspect, I saw too many who were every negative stereotype one would have of a government employee. Sadly, the worst ones I saw were when I worked at the VA.

@Brother Bob: I only wished I could work in an environment where if we ran out of budget, we just went out and got some more or if people would not get the work done, we could merely hire more. No, the budget was the budget and not only did you HAVE to meet it, but it was going to be reduced next year. Yeah, it’s nerve wracking and tedious, but it’s how businesses complete.
I don’t think the government works under such stresses. I don’t wish it no anyone, but I wish they would spend the money as if it were there own (the way I think Trump looks at it) rather than as if it was someone else’s and there is a limitless supply.
With Trump, he says illegal immigrants bring a lot of criminals along with them; the media quotes him as saying immigrants are criminals; therefore he is a racist. Trump says the fake media (that which traffics lies) is the enemy of the people. The media quotes him as saying the MEDIA is the enemy of the people, thus confirming the existence of the FAKE media and proving his point. Etc, etc, etc.
I’ve take to copying my same response about the shutdown for the benefit of the liberal idiots on the NYT Facebook page; Yes, Trump said he would shut it down and own it, but Schumer shut the government down BEFORE Trump got the chance. Still, they repeat, “He said he would own it” to which I reply, “OK, explain how and when Trump shut the government down.” Radio silence follows.
I just can’t understand how they can be so consistently wrong and made a fool by their liberal propaganda and still keep coming back for more.
