Those who commited the crimes must have thought they would go to paradise surrounded by 1000 Virgins instead they ended up a place of Fire & bRIMEstone and their are screaming ever since
Never forget, but remember not to get in a war, unless you plan to win it, with a complete and utter defeat of your enemy. A complete victory is when your enemy no longer has the will or desire to wage war again, i.e. Japan and Germany.

@Skook: First of all, welcome back! Good to see an oldtimer back. As you can see, lots of TDS going on. You are very correct about not getting into a war without the intention of winning it. VN was the perfect example. And I would also argue that not stomping out “Uncle Joe” as he was so fondly called by FDR also left unfinished business that cost us lives and lots of money over the years. It’s sad to say, but in this PC climate we live in, I seriously doubt the country’s resolve as a whole to ever accomplish what we did in WWII. If there was ever another 9/11 attack on this country, there would be an immediate blame the U.S. for it. The left wouldn’t wait a month like last time.
@another vet: Thanks AV, our military has the resolve, but many of our political leaders are questionable, when it comes to their loyalties. Are they loyal to an ideology or to the country we love?
These are the leaders who get our military people killed and maimed while trying to figure another way to handicap our troops, whether it is rules of engagement or giving resources and capital to our enemies. Sure they say they are loyal to the US, but they speak of a US that neither of us would recognize. Their US is a transformational US that humbles itself to the world and become a place rather than a concept of liberty and justice for all. This transformed US has a two tier justice system, with one system for the elites and one for everyone else. We are watching this transformed justice system everyday. Mueller and his partisan hacks prosecute the president, his family, and associates looking for any semblance of a crime; while Hillary, the FBI, and the Justice Department have committed innumerable felonies and we hear not a whisper, no indictments, and no arrests.
This country is already under the veil of Obama’s transformation into a Third World Shithole, and it will remain that way until we see federal agents kicking in doors at 4 AM like Mueller’s Storm Troopers did to Trump’s lawyer. After all, lawyers are more dangerous than cartel kingpins and need the same treatment.
No AV, this country has a serious disease and unless our government takes the necessary steps to end this disaster, your grandchildren will not grow up in a free country.

@Skook: You are correct on every statement you made. Obama and his praetorian guard of leftists are trying to overthrow a duly elected President. Anyone who can’t see it has their head up Obama’s ass. The facts that are out there are overwhelming and there are more and rest assured, Trump knows all of it.
These are very dangerous times we are in. My Dad, who was awarded two BSM’s in Korea, told me before her died that the next big war we fight won’t be with the Russians, Chinese, or Muslims and that it would fought here amongst ourselves. I wholeheartedly believe that given the path we are on. You are a CW buff like myself. Think about it. We are actually more divided now than what we were back then. An author pointed out that Lincoln once told people that we speak the same language and read the same bible in order to avert war. Think about it today. Do we speak the same language? Press one for English and two for Spanish. The same bible? Don’t say, “Merry Christmas” you may offend someone. We don’t agree on simple aspects of daily life that they agreed on such as the definition of marriage, the number of genders, the Second Amendment, whether or not a baby in the womb is a living being etc. Add to this the left’s normalization of violence against those who don’t agree and the situation in this country is that of a powderkeg waiting to explode.
