The obama regime is capping off its record of foreign policy incompetence with a betrayal of a strong ally and the only democracy in the Middle East. obama opened the door for ISIS, showed Assad what a hollow man looks like, rewarded Cuba for its long suppression of rights, willingly takes an enema from Iran on a regular basis and is regularly outwitted and generally had by Vladimir Putin:
The criticism of Obama’s foreign policy is not only that it was utopian, self-righteous, and naïve, though it was all that and more. Rather, it assumed that nations were not collections of people with predictable and all too human aspirations and behaviors. When the Obama administration discovered that tragic human nature still governed foreign policy, it objected petulantly, insisting that an American messiah had come into the world to save it. But the world, for some strange reason, was not impressed. Instead, it took advantage of the light-bringer’s childish narcissism.

The obama regime utterly betrayed Israel at the UN, then denied it had anything to do with that betrayal and finally admitted that it did. Moreover, the obama regime orchestrated the resolution from the start.

The Palestinian rais also interferes personally in the affairs of the sovereign State of Israel, especially in matters concerning Israeli Arabs. As part of the negotiations brokered by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, Abbas demanded the release of Palestinian terrorist operatives holding Israeli citizenship. He claimed he refused to recognize the State of Israel as a Jewish state because he felt responsible for the rights of the 20% of Israeli citizens who were Palestinian Arabs.
He uses that claim, however, to hide his true intentions. If Mahmoud Abbas really wanted to found a Palestinian state bordering on the State of Israel, he would have been only too happy to accept the suggestion made by Israel’s Foreign Minister, Avigdor Lieberman, and rushed to absorb Israel’s Arab citizens along with their lands and assets as part of the exchange of territories and population demanded by the peace agreement. In that way he could have increased the size of Palestine, liberated the Israeli Arabs from the Israeli regime that Palestinians call “the rule of occupation and apartheid,” and brought more territory and citizens to his new country.
The truth, however, is that what President Mahmoud Abbas is really planning to establish is a Palestinian state between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, by flooding the State of Israel with Muslim Palestinians as part of the so-called “return” of the Palestinian refugees. He does not want an Israel next door to the Palestinian state, and therefore refuses to recognize it as the national homeland of the Jews.
Launching missiles into Israel would become even easier than it is now. The UN, established with noble goals but has deteriorated into a sniveling body inculcated with politics and political correctness. As Bill Jacobson points out, the bottom line to the UN resolution is to encourage a blacklisting of Israeli companies.
It’s time for US to dump the UN.
The UN is nothing more than part of the One World Order progressive vision and the most likely vehicle to carry it out. The US spends about $8 billion per year on the UN. That money could be better spent. As of 2014, diplomats had racked up $16 million in unpaid parking tickets. Their disregard for the US and its laws is appalling. The UN should move to somewhere more in need of its presence- somewhere where it can really be appreciated.
Like Zimbabwe.
