In Andrea Mitchell’s interview with Hillary Clinton, this exchange took place:
AM: You have said that Colin Powell did the same thing. He actually had a personal e-mail and a State .gov official e-mail system.
So he didn’t just rely on a personal system. I don’t think there’s any precedent for someone just relying on a personal e-mail system at your level of government.
HRC: Well, I can’t speak for him. That has certainly been portrayed differently, depending on how it’s considered, but this was fully above board, people knew I was using a personal e-mail. I did it for convenience.
She said she used her personal server for “convenience.” Then she goes on to stab herself in the back.
I sent e-mails that I thought were work-related to people’s .gov accounts. The vast majority were captured by the system, and now we’ve made sure that everything that could be considered work related is in the system of the State Department.
AM: Did anyone in your inner circle say, “This is not a good idea. Let’s not do this”
HRC: You know, I was not thinking a lot when I got in. There was so much work to be done. We had so many problems around the world.
I didn’t really stop and think, “What kind of e-mail system will there be?”
AM: Does it raise judgment questions?
HRC: I don’t think so. I think that the facts are pretty clear that we had a lot of work, a lot of hard choices to make in those four years.
If you want to see her say this on video, it’s here at about 1:25.
She wasn’t thinking a lot when she came in. There was so much going on.
So it was more “convenient” – with so much work to do and so much going on around the world- to take time away from the job, to take a government employee away from his job, pay him $5000 on the side to set up a system to circumvent government rules than it was to simply let the IT people at State set up her email account?
Bull and Sh*t.
Top Clinton spokesperson Jennifer Palmieri agrees that Hillary doesn’t think things through:

This alone is a great joke. Hillary is unable to think when there’s a lot going on.
Her email excuse is such patent lie that it only further underscores Hillary Clinton’s mendacity and emphasizes why the American public believes her to be entirely untrustworthy. It’s just more evidence that the Clinton’s think the rules don’t apply to them.
DrJohn has been a health care professional for more than 40 years. In addition to clinical practice he has done extensive research and has published widely with over 70 original articles and abstracts in the peer-reviewed literature. DrJohn is well known in his field and has lectured on every continent except for Antarctica. He has been married to the same wonderful lady for over 45 years and has three kids- two sons, both of whom are attorneys and one daughter who is in the field of education.
DrJohn was brought up with the concept that one can do well if one is prepared to work hard but nothing in life is guaranteed.
Except for liberals being foolish.
That was her problem then, that is her problem now – not thinking.
We also have a president who doesn’t think a lot, and at least two candidates wanting to be the next one who don’t think much either.
Freedom to the illegally occupied Libyan Jamahiriya! Green Libya is Free Libya you BITCH!
And BAM! her spokesperson/womyn goes right to the Big Clinton Talking Point after they drag their feet: “She’s answered this many times…” Jesus, these people are disgusting.
You know you are in trouble when Andrea Mitchell stops throwing you softballs.
If she didn’t “stop and think” about it, we would not be having these discussions; she would have had a .gov account.
She was not thinking about the security of sensitive data. What she WAS thinking about was having a safety valve through which she could destroy incriminating information before it was turned over to the State Department.
Ooh, comparing possible Treason to the NFL’s “Deflategate;” that’s a new talking-point I hadn’t heard on this farce, yet.
” I did it for convenience.”
“You know, I was not thinking a lot when I got in.”
“Top Clinton spokesperson Jennifer Palmieri agrees that Hillary doesn’t think things through:”
And Democrats still think Hillary is a good choice for President?
…really?
O’KEEFE STRIKES AGAIN: Undercover Video Purports to Show Hillary Campaign Violating Election Law
Maybe I’m way off, but I am getting the sense–watching Andrea Mitchel and the two deeply annoying cohosts on Morning Blow–that the Hillaroids are getting TIRED of having to defend her. Even they may have limits. They’re looking at Bernie Sanders, who has their heart, and at Hillary, who they WANT to be loyal to (but they don’t like her), and maybe they’re thinking, “Why am I killing myself defending someone who’d throw me over for the price of a candy bar when the one who actually shares my values is gaining traction?”
@JSW: Have you seen the latest big block-buster headlines that the left is cheering over and claiming that it exonerates Hillary? That she had the legal right to delete personal emails all along?
I don’t think anyone ever contested that… what was contentious what exactly WHAT she, alone, by herself, with no oversight by the State Department, considered “personal”.
They are running out of straws to grasp.
@JSW:
The problem the Democrat party and MSM has, is that only the far left loons will vote for a Nationalist Socialist Worker’s candidate. The moderate-independent voters are not going to go for a candidate that can be so easily compared with the NAZI (National Socialist Worker’s Party)
