Awesome! Along those same lines, I’d like to plug this book which contains the personal stories of people who escaped socialist/communist countries to come to America: Pursuing Liberty: America Through the Eyes of the Newly Free Disclaimer: I used to know the editor.

Inspiring. There are many great Americans, most of them are relatively unknown. It is these people who make America great, not the people who yell and taunt, “You didn’t do that on your own.” I love these Americans, not the athletes, the elites, the millionaires, the phony politicians, but the little Americans who pursue their humble dreams of freedom. They live the American dream and fulfill the dreams of freedom. It is these people who build America.
