Perhaps he would care to expound upon the foolishness and powerlessness of the people who have moved $4.5 billion from big corporate financial institutions to local-based banks, savings and loans, and credit unions since the end of September.

Every time a person switches to a credit union from a bank it is good for them.
BUT…..Only $4.5 billion?
My little LB credit union (only teachers, school employees and students can even join) has over $4.5 billion in assets!
(It has $14 Billion in assets.)
You do get to stay after graduating only because credit unions fought the banking industry over that.
Otherwise we would have been thrown back to banks in 1973.
People are free to move their money and I always have encouraged people to quit their banks IF they qualified to join a credit union.
So many refuse to even consider it.
This OWS movement is doing people a favor IF they switch out of their banks.
But from the numbers put up by Greg it looks like the OWSers are either very poor or are not making the switch in very great numbers.
