You can’t make this stuff up
This Sept. 11, the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks upon America, New York Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg will dedicate the massive, $600 million National September 11 Memorial and Museum at the World Trade Center. What Americans have not been told is that this “memorial” will remake Ground Zero so that it does not acknowledge 9/11.
Instead of acting as a constant reminder of the attacks, a symbol for us and future generations of the evil that struck, the death and destruction it caused and the heroism and sacrifice in response, the memorial will wipe out all evidence and memory of the attacks.
Replacing all reminders of the attacks will be two immense “voids” with gigantic subterranean waterfalls designed to express exclusively, as per architect Michael Arad, the continuing “absence in our lives caused by these deaths.”
About 500 trees will be planted upon the site. They are, we are told by memorial officials, “traditional symbols of the rejuvenation of life.” They also will eradicate all trace and memory of what stood there for 30 years and its destruction on Sept. 11.
The cause of “these deaths,” how these people came to be absent – that is, 9/11 – has been deemed irrelevant and even contrary to your memorial “experience.”
The memorial is not about that; it’s about you.
It gets worse. A LOT worse.
The 9/11 memorial will not identify Christine Lee Hanson, who died with her parents when United Airlines Flight 175 was slammed into the South Tower, as being “age 2.” This might convince you that the American victims were “innocent” and the foreign terrorists “guilty.”
That would be telling us what to think.
It will not include the initials FDNY, NYPD or PAPD. It will not include the words “firefighter” or “police officer.”
Recognizing the heroism and sacrifice of the firefighters and police officers would contrast those virtues with the barbarism and crime of the terrorists.
And though Mr. Bloomberg has said our values demand a Ground Zero Mosque, he will not allow the Rev. Mychal Judge, the FDNY chaplain who died while praying the Lord’s Prayer in the lobby of WTC 1, to be identified as “Fire Chaplain Father” Mychal Judge.
It is only traditional Judeo-Christian values that have no place at Ground Zero.

One wonders why it simply isn’t made into a Memorial to the 9-11 hijackers.

The Pentagon Memorial was inaugurated, on 9/11 of 2008. Designed by KBAS Studio, the memorial is sited near to the point of impact of American Airlines Flight 77 and the benches are oriented parallel to the trajectory of the flight. There are 184 memorial benches that honor each individual that died when the plane crashed. The benches are organized in a time line based on the victims’ birth years, from 1930 to 1998.

The Oklahoma City National Memorial is a public/private partnership erected so that the American public can honor the memory of the victims, their families, the survivors, and their rescuers.
There are 168 empty “chairs” where the Alfred P. Murrah building once stood at the Oklahoma City National Memorial. The 19 smaller chairs represent the children who were killed.

The Flight 93 Memorial in Union City, CA., has a “remembrance stone” that is placed in a flowing line for each individual person who’s life was lost on Flight 93. This exemplifies that each person was more than just a moment in history, or a victim linked to such a horrifying event. The Memorial has put a face to each soul lost on that fateful flight.
Each individual’s name, age, and hometown is engraved on each stone. On the front side of the 40 stones is a polished stainless steel mirror to reflect the viewers own image to signify that it could have been any one of us aboard Flight 93 that day. The back of the 40 remembrance stones were left unfinished to signify that the heros had unfinished lives.

I lost 343 brothers in those towers. It’s time for Americans to out a stop to all of this nonsense! Boycott the new 9/11 memorial, get you family and friends to do so also. Everytime these terrorist loving politicians come up for reelection, get off your sofa and take that power away from them!

As sad and insane as it is, I believe it. Political Correctness the Big Lie. Thanks for posting this, more people need to know just how far our own government will go to make sure that no-one is offended. Regardless if it means “forgetting and hiding the truth”. Not to distract from your post, but we were not allowed to put “Killed in Terrorist Attack” on our sons Headstone after the Cole attack. His grandfathers stone reads Served in WWII. One row over from him. They did allow us to have “Purple Heart”. Insanity. We fought for years but to no avail. And now this. Disgusting and despicable.

According to the plan, posters saying ,“no gambling”, “no music and concerts”, “no nudity or vice”, and “no drugs and smoking” will be put up. The posters will add: “Beware: You are entering a Shariaa-controlled zone – Islamic rules enforced.”
Also thousands of “Shariaa police” will monitor the compliance with the Shariaa rules in the streets.
And what will they want done first?
‘Muslims must get rid of all CCTV cameras from Muslim institutions.’
Other instructions include demanding the release of all Muslim prisoners, a ban on Muslims joining the police or armed forces and a rejection of British democracy.
Assimilation?
Apparently not.
This for the Yorkshire towns Bradford and Dewsbury and Tower Hamlets in East London as testbeds for blanket sharia rule.

More creeping Sharia is taking place in Malaysia where the non-Muslim population (40% of the 28 million people!) are being forced to live under Sharia during Ramadan (August).

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Other reports I have read did not include the fact those that designed the memorial were refusing the names of young children and the designations of law enforcement and fireman. Just another confirmation this country is going to hell in a handbasket. It is hard for me to believe that tough minded New Yorkers allowed this memorial plan to proceed. They were all so full of pride and determination after the attack. I would never have believed then that their spirit could be so broken as to allow anyone to steal the right of their dearest and bravest to be remembered in a way that brings the greatest honor to their sacrifice and service.

Actually Ivan I see footage of the planes hitting the towers quite often–much to my chagrin.
It’s almost as if they want to want to desensitize us to what happened that day. Many Americans may have gone back to sleep……but I’m not one of them.
Have any of you read Shri’ria, The Threat To America by Team BII? If you have not, it is well worth your time. And time is what radical Islam has plenty of. The end, for radical Islam (which I believe is about 80% of all Muslims) justifies the means.
