You’ve got to hand it to the complete idiocy of someone like Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D). In one breath she says the killing of Osama made Americans feel like they weren’t “a loser” anymore:
And so I think that there is just a feeling now, not just with young people but getting over this feeling that maybe America’s kind of a loser. And now that we’re a winner, I think it’s very important.”
It’s a very debatable position that anyone felt this country was a loser when we kicked the Taliban out of Afghanistan and won in Iraq…but this isn’t the post to debate that point. No, this post is about what Schakowsky said following the above quote. In answer to a question about the release of the bin-Laden death photos she said:
I can’t imagine — what service would it be to the public to provide those kinds of photos,” Schakowsky said. “[T]hat kind of chest-thumping and you know, being — bragging about this kind of murder, no I think the president has handled it just right and most people absolutely believe that he is dead and certainly, those who don’t are not going to be convinced.
So my question is….
Isn’t murder a crime?
Murder is the unlawful killing of another human being with “malice aforethought”

Chris Mathews is such a loser to begin with. I used to watch him before Fox News came on the air. I would yell with frustration at him , or the TV I should say back then when all we had to watch were the liberals. But I can see he has not change at all. As for the pictures inciting more violence, I disagree completely. I don’t care if they release them, but don’t use that pathetic excuse as the reason not to release them. I think that Jan had a Freudian slip! When she said murder. And Chris just ignored it. I really think that OBi freaked his base out more than he did with people like me when he had BL taken out. Murder would have been reserved for Bush if he had done it on his watch. The liberals would have be screaming it to the High Heavens too. Thats why I think it was a slip. But now they have to act like they are ok with Obi ordering a hit on BL, when in reality they are probably beginning to wonder if he has been hanging around with Bush after work too much. OBi could drop a nuke on on a liberal nudist colony in Washington State in the morning, and the liberals would be hailing him as a Master Strategist.

Sorry, but you are wrong Bees. Libel is not opinion, it’s a deliberate attack and patently illegal unless you can prove that what you said/wrote is true. Making an unsubstantiated, declarative statement that a father sexually assaulted their child, in order to defame the person based on the attacker’s political opposition, is the worst kind of sleazy mudslinging and such accusers should be prosecuted to the furthest extent of the law.

Our comments above that were directed specifically at Higgins, were about a spurious attack he launched against a conservative political artist on this thread. His libelous post has been deleted as well it should. I don’t remember which of the follow-up posts it was (# 1-3,) or if the deletion was at his request or one of the moderators, although I expect the latter.)

As for dfgfgd’s comment (aka #1 above,) it’s not entirely clear what the poster is referring to. While it is derogatory of Obama, it is hardly complete enough of a statement to classify it as either libelous or the expression of an opinion. Lacking specifics, I’ll give dfgfgd the benefit of the doubt and consider it an opinion, until such time as dfgfgd clarifies what they meant.

Illinois is a “red” state, except for the county of Crook. When a single county can come up with well over half of the voting population of the state, the state swings that way. The fine art of fraud in Crook evolved over the years from the dead voting, to the dead holding offices. The voting machines supplied by Sequoia; From the country of Hugo Chavez. Caused my flight after witnessing a vote going Democrat after voting it the other way. It’s just the Crook county way, and nothing is going to change that in the near future. Just picture the USAG doing a vote fraud investigation in IL. Yeah, sure. Like that’s going to ever happen.
