While the news has been fixated on the Japanese disaster, rightly so, the fact that this story has gotten little airplay is upsetting.
On Friday night some terrorists cut through a security fence and entered the Israeli town of Itamar in the West Bank. They then picked a house, this time the house of Udi and Ruth Fogel, and proceeded to stab to death the couple along with their 3 month old daughter and two sons (3 and 11)
As the attackers used knives rather than rifles or pistols, and because of other characteristics of the killings, the IDF believes it was not carried out by an organized terrorist infrastructure but more likely was the work of one or two people who could, though, be affiliated with one of the larger Palestinian terrorist groups.
The New York Times wrote about the murders but pretty much whined about Israel’s response.
Israel responded defiantly Sunday to a bloody Palestinian assault against West Bank settlers by approving construction of new settlement housing, retaliating for the stabbing deaths of a father, mother and three small children with a measure that infuriated Palestinians and, together with the attack, threw already shaky peace efforts into a new tailspin.
The Palestinians weren’t too infuriated tho….they took time out of that “infuriation” to celebrate the murders of these little kids:
Gaza residents from the southern city of Rafah hit the streets Saturday to celebrate the terror attack in the West Bank settlement of Itamar where five family members were murdered in their sleep, including three children.
Residents handed out candy and sweets, one resident saying the joy “is a natural response to the harm settlers inflict on the Palestinian residents in the West Bank.”

What bulls**t. Building a wall or building some new homes is NOT the same as stabbing a 3 month old baby to death. Anyone who tries to compare the two is an animal, plain and simple.

I don’t understand how anyone could willingly harm a child, let alone murder one. I am guessing that the propaganda media that defends these murderers still haven’t figured out why they are loosing subscribers and viewers. When they issue their last paper, magazine, or broadcast I am guessing they will still wonder why they went out of business.

He has been asking restraint from israel and condemnation of israel from every other nation since he took office, you just had to read between TOTUS’s lines.
At first, I began to think that Israel should perhaps engage in a little bloodshed itself, but that thought passed (the Torah forbids revenge). I remembered an incident from Corrie ten Boom’s book, The Hiding Place. Corrie and her family hid and rescued Jews in the Netherlands during World War II. She recalls that once she and her elderly father saw Germans rounding up the Jews. “Oh, those poor Germans,” her father said. “Papa, what are you saying?” Corrie was shocked. “Those poor Germans,” he explained. “They have put their hands on the apple of God’s eye and their doom is certain.”
That is probably not an exact quote — I don’t have the book handy. I wish I had his faith. It is worth remembering that at the end of World War II, there were cities in Germany with buildings that scarcely had one brick upon another. What makes the situation in Israel so damnable is that I know and have worked with Palestinians who are decent, good people. But collectively, the Palestinians allowed the radicals to take over, and eventually they will pay a price for that.
I can’t remember the names but some time ago another Palestinian broke into an Israeli home and murdered a child in front of her father before killing the father.
All the while the mother was hiding and accidentally suffocated their other child trying to keep it quiet.
Later, in Gaza, schools and streets and even hospital wings were named after the murderer.
Although he was imprisoned his release was made a requirement for some little peace between then and now.
He was released and the Palestinians were elated.
Anyone who honestly believes that getting rid of Israel, then all Jews on earth will mollify Islam are deluded.
Throwing that tiny nation and those people to the wolves will only prove how vapid the world’s non-Muslims have allowed themselves to become.
The Copts in Egypt, the Buddhists in southern Thailand, the Orthodox Christians in Turkey, the Christians in Pakistan, the animists in Africa, the Hindus in India, even the atheists in Russia and Chechnea are all being just as actively targeted as the Jews and Israel.

Christianity and Judaism both forbid personal revenge, but not warfare. I would have no problem if Israel issued a warning, and then leveled the Gaza Strip.
God has made specific eternal promises to Israel, as a people and as a nation, which is why there is such a vicious hatred of them.
