Desperate times calls for desperate reporters I suppose. Check this headline out blaring across the LA Times….a DEMOCRAT wins a DEMOCRAT primary.
Woo-hoo! Time to celebrate you Dem’s: (h/t Ace)
Democrats hail election results as breakthrough
A key primary win in Colorado and victories by ‘tea party’-backed GOP candidates amount to ‘nothing but good news’ for the party, the White House~~~The White House and national Democrats were quick to celebrate Wednesday what they saw as a breakthrough in an otherwise bleak political year, with President Obama’s preferred candidate winning a key primary test in Colorado and Republican voters choosing “tea party”-backed insurgents over the GOP’s recruited candidates.
“Last night’s elections … were nothing but good news for the Democratic Party,” White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said.
No bias there eh? Now the tea-party folks are “insurgents.”
But anyways…I guess they are celebrating because at least one candidate that Obama backed won. Being the incumbent Senator I’m not sure why its that huge, plus being a far lefty instead of a centrist is sooooo much preferred in the general election to come right?
Geez louise.
These same folks are beaming because Sarah’s candidate in Georgia lost, forgetting that she is 10 for 16 in her endorsements so far. Not a bad batting average and heads above Obama and the far lefty wacko’s.

Curt,
In the desert, given enough time without water, people will attempt to drink sand. The MSM and the liberals in general are desperate for any thing which they can actually perceive as positive news. Their spin is being met with out and out laughter now. That’s gotta hurt.
I’ll be curious to see whether Obama faces a significant challenge on the left in the Dem primary. I know folks here like to talk about how he’s a socialist, but in reality the hard left is not happy with him at all.
Sword of Damocles hangs over the head of Democrat incumbents’ jobs now for these various voting districts due to such “insurgent” tea partiers. And the media better be careful how it labels the majority of Americans, as it can not sustain a business from insulting its clients. When is there going to be a public push to boycott these media stations’ sponsors?
My tea-party candidate can whip your neo-prog, Marxist loving, tax and spend leftist candidate anytime!!
Whistlin by the graveyard.
Interesting OpEd by a Republican polster in today’s NYTimes:
He begins by disputing the premise that out of the mainstream Rep candidates will be easy for dem primary winners to beat in toss up Senate races:
He goes on to offer results of polling questions that show Independents are breaking for Republicans by hefty margins. Also, the majority of Independents favor the Tea Party movement.
Data mentioned in OpEd:
Questions/results…..1000 likely voters:
Next question, one party control:

Also saw an editorial explaining that Maxine and Charley mucked up all the dems had to cheer about this week. 🙄 They just can’t catch a break, nor do they deserve one. 😉
@Missy
I wonder how rich wheeler will spin that information, lol. Personally, I don’t care. He can stick his head in the sand with the rest of the leftists and not realize that dems are in serious trouble come Nov.
