One has to wonder why someone employed as a journalist, especially from the bigger and more ‘respected’ media outlets, would wish to belong to a group of people who, despite protests to the contrary, put forth their ideas for others to read and discuss and develop into their ‘own’ stories, instead of claiming ownership for themselves. It really has the look and feel of a collectivist mindset at work, which, of course, explains the desire to belong to a listserve of likeminded people.
On top of that, we see, in perfect evidence, that which conservatives have been discussing for years. Namely, the inherent bias towards the left present in what is roundly considered the MSM. The dishonesty of promoting certain themes to the reporting, and organized loosely amongst other journalists to report on that theme, shows a complete disregard for the blood, sweat and tears shed to give those journalists the right to report on anything.
No one can be unbiased, especially when it comes to politics, however, by disregarding actual facts in favor of ‘themed’ reporting, you don’t report the news. You make the news. What the leftist media has become is nothing short of a propaganda arm for the Democrats in general, and the statist/progressives specifically.
