Laura Bush covered her head when in the Middle East as did Secy Rice, so give it a rest.

“apology tour”

Im not happy with that term at all.

Uh-oh. Bare feet/cankles … Isn’t that punishable by public caning?

Yeah, Joanie in Brooklyn, they did.

I wouldn’t.

I’m sick of the one-sided concept of Westerners, especially women, having to be accommodating to their culture there and here.

Har! Love the caption for pic 2!

Mr. Snobby is not my president. At the present I don’t have one. Seems Billary is well fed. Must have got some Porkulus.

In those pictures, sHrillary reminds me of a camel….is that wrong?

@Cuss:
“apology tour”
Im not happy with that term at all.

Truth hurts I suppose…

Maybe we can call it: Graveling Tour 09′

You can be happy about that one. Apology was probably too loose a term.

@Pat: Thanks Pat. Since the caption contests at Flopping Aces are all rigged, I have to award myself a prize for that caption.

@Aye Chihuahua: That’s a remarkable likeness.

@Aye Chihuahua:

They definately have the same expression, the camel’s hijab is more attractive and one more thing, that color(pant suit) is much more flattering on the camel.

In the first picture, Obama looks like he has to pee

Contrast his speech with Sarah’s……

(15 minutes long)

Burka! how about a heavy canvas truck tarp?

@Missy:

Missy, that pic is hysterical.

I would say that the lovely couple reminds me of Mary and Joseph…….but I won’t.

Damn Hillary….I thought we agreed you would lay off the Taco Bell ’til we got back home.

Hey isn’t that infidel woman walking with a man who isn’t in her family??
Stoning anyone?

Thanks Missy.

Traitors revealed and shameless, stupid, kissing the Ass of Islam.
Ivy League Traitors. Never served in the Military to Defend America.
Served Themselves and Fooled America.

Rope, tall tree, Traitor and some assembly required.

@Aye Chihuahua: Mary and Joseph? That means a child might be expected. But in this case I doubt it’s the son of God.

@KZnextzone: Good one. How insensitive of Obama.

First commenter is right. Two years ago Laura Bush did the same thing. My husband is active duty Army and a counterinsurgency expert in religious leader engagements and he would say that that’s the right thign to do.

We need to pick the right fights. This isn’t one of them. John McCain waore a yarmeka during the election cycle when he visited Jerusalem last summer. I live in Korea as an Army wife. I take my shoes off whenever I enter a Korean restaurant or home. I bow to my Korean counterparts.

Obama and Hillary are doing the right thing here. ASk GEN Petraeus (whom my husband has worked for) and he’d tell you the same thing.

@Amy Proctor:

Amy, perhaps I shouldn’t speak for Mike, but I will anyway. I’m positive Mike is well aware of proper ME protocol, he did his time in DC. We are also aware of Condi Rice and Laura Bush wearing the hijab during their visits. My take on this thread is it’s just a bit of Mike’s humor and we are shamelessly participating.

Nice to see you here, another little blessing to think about this morning. Thank you for the outstanding work over at Bottom Line Up Front and please thank your husband for his service to this wonderful country for me.

@Missy: Thank you Missy and right as usual. @Amy Proctor: The point here wasn’t to slam Hillary for wearing the scarf. More of a dig at how she looked in one. Yeah, cheap shot I know but so what?

Besides, what was more interesting for me was the body language between Hillary and Obie.

And of course, I needed an excuse to play “Walk Like an Egyptian.”

If just if whatever Hillary is wearing under that pantsuit has a structural failure, can you imagine the collateral damage?

I just got done reading the condemnation of Playboy’s story and am confused as to why you and the commenters here think the superficial hate (albeit with different language) is any better directed at a different woman. I thought this was an issues driven site, not a name calling one.

@Sonic:

I’m sorry Sonic.

Could you point out the similarities/parallels between the Playboy RAPE story and this post?

I must be dense because I don’t see it.

Illuminate for us, oh Wise One.

@Sonic:

Wondering if you wrote Obama’s Cairo speech.

Looks like Hillary planted a good one on Obama’s privates for making her wear the hijab.
They didn’t name a nutcracker after Hillary for nothing.

@Sonic: You keep playing those phony moral equivalence cards and before you know it RAPE will be treated with the same seriousness of poking fun at Hillary in a hijab…

Oh wait….

Captions for Hillary/Obama pix:

1. Kermit and Miss Piggy out for a stroll
2. What this place needs is a water feature. We could add a pond or fountain right here.
3. Couples like to dress alike
4. Yeah, I can imagine myself as Pharaoh. He was a god, too, you know.

Mary and Joseph? No way, the relative ages are reversed and the gap too narrow.

Laura Bush covered her head when in the Middle East as did Secy Rice, so give it a rest.

They were wrong to wear slave rags as well. islam…submission…slavery, and by wearing the slave rags, they condoned them. Shame on them all for doing so.

islam is a lie and Truth is killing it.

@AlaskanInfidel: You missed the point didn’t you?

@Aye Chihuahua and Mike’s America–The Playboy story was about hate directed at conservative women. (No actual rapes occurred, in case you didn’t read that story.) I stand by my comment. Neither of your responses did anything to address my comment, so why don’t one of you address it directly? (Please note: this is not a partisan issue.)

Sonic, I’m only showing up here to offer you another female perspective. Don’t take this so dad’gummed seriously. This is just a guy/frat kind of post that occasionally gets done, and that I usually dodge because it’s a guy/bonding kind of thing.

Basically Mike’s view was… using a hijab to cover Hillary’s hair in order not to “drive men to a sexual frenzy” was underkill… that it should have been a burka, that covers pretty much everything. To summarize, it was a statement on the attractiveness/unattractiveness of Hillary.

Rather ironic a statement in that it’s a mirror opposite of reality, when you think of it… not to mention that no matter how “unattractive” Hillary is as an SOS, she is a beauty queen compared to Madeline Not-So-Bright.

Covering Hillary – or any of we older women types for that matter – would disguise flaws and leave more imagination to the males as to just what’s underneath (only *hopefully* driving them to a sexual frenzy… :0) Let it all hang out, and they’ve headed for the hills.

It’s a “fun” guy kind of post. And quite frankly, I don’t mind these deviations into guy’dom. The day they stop looking, we are all “dead” to sexual and physical appreciation. I think I’ve been one of the few females that relishes passing construction scaffolds to get the whistles. At least, at a distance, I can pass whistle muster… LOL

Besides, it’s human nature. And a trait I don’t want to see dashed in the name of “equality”. Hang equality. I miss the days when I was put on a pedestial and had doors opened, fer heavens sake! Besides, as an old broad, I still like to “look” and “appreciate” the same in males.

BTW, as a female, I can’t say I’ve been turned on by any of the male SOS’s either. Frankly, despite gender, they all look like nerds I’d avoid in the local singles bars. So Hillary is doing no better, no worse, than her predecessors.

@Sonic:

You know, it’s rather amusing to watch folks get their pretty pink panties in a twist when someone chooses to have a little fun at sHrillary and Obie’s expense.

You dashed in here putting up the full court press defense comparing this good natured post and the resulting camel comparison to a vile Playboy story in which the author fantasizes about “hate f***ing” conservative women.

So, as I asked you in post 24, show me the parallels between the Playboy story in which women are forced to have sex with people who hate them (that’s RAPE) and this post in which we needle sHrillary and Obie just a little.

We, on the right, have endured eight long years of much worse criticism than a few good natured hijab jabs.

Now, the shoe is on the other foot, but I can guarantee you that you will never see any conservative fantasizing about “hate f***ing” sHrillary or Obie or Me-Chelle or Elizabeth Edwards or Donna Brazile or Arianna Huffington or Jeanine Garafolo or Susan Estrich or Maureen Dowd or any of the other frumpy representatives of that side of the aisle.

Rape, or forced intercourse referred to by any other term, is not our style. We choose to leave that to the members of the Kennedy clan.

Loosen up some Sonic and, if you behave yourself, I might be able to convince Helen Thomas to give you a little mercy hump.

Yo… what’s this “we” stuff, Kemosabi… er, Aye? You won’t find me engaging in a little “fun” at Hillary’s expense, mocking her aging appearance. Talk about opening a can o’ worms…. LOL I believe the rule of “kettle/black” may apply for we older women. As my uncle says… aging ain’t for sissies. Especially in the US where only youth is worshipped.

Is the OP majorly offensive to me? No. Is it somewhat tasteless and sophoromic in humor and origin? Yes.

Do I consider it “good natured”? Wouldn’t go that far either, Aye. Clearly that depends on your point of view, which is generally age/gender related.

It is what it is. Guy/frat humor mocking Hillary’s aging. I don’t defend it. Nor will I blanketly condemn it. I just ignore it as part of life between the sexes.

@Sonic: Your equating this post with Playboy’s RAPE (yes, that is what they were talking about) is STUPID.

Obviously you don’t take the rape of women seriously or you wouldn’t even suggest such an absurd comparison.

Yo… what’s this “we” stuff, Kemosabi… er, Aye?

Now Mata, you know that “we”, as in all of us of the conservative persuasion, have endured far, far worse from the fever swamps of the Left than the good natured (yes, I consider it good natured) needling directed toward Hills in this thread….I mean, no camels were actually harmed in the comparison which is, of course, the standard that was set by Sonic.

My remarks on this thread were not intended to be related to Mrs. Clinton’s aging process…..I simply observed that her facial expression and the color pant suit she chose reminded me of a camel.

Neither the OP nor any of the responses on this thread have a violent, harmful undertone. Nor is there a call for Hills to be sexually assaulted. In fact, one would be hard pressed to demonstrate anything hateful here.

That’s the comparison that Sonic tried to make. Talk about apples and oranges.

…. “no camels were actually harmed…” LMAO!

@Aye Chihuahua: I missed this earlier: “Loosen up some Sonic and, if you behave yourself, I might be able to convince Helen Thomas to give you a little mercy hump. “

Too funny.
