I was honored, and now humbled, to not only have President Reagan as my President, but also my Governor. I wish I had appreciated more then what I know now.

Happy Birthday, Mr. President…you now, forever, will rest in peace.

Blessings to former First Lady, Nancy Reagan, as well, on this day.

President Reagan’s birthday has meant more to us than Lincoln’s. I hope all is well for Nancy Reagan and children, that they have gotten past the grief and can spend this day in comfort and remembrance. It took awhile for me after losing my parents.

I remembered it for my grandson, but I was in such a rush when sending my daughter’s birthday stuff out, for the first time in 30 years I forgot to add “you know you were born on President Reagan’s birthday” guess I will have to send it in an e-mail. Yep, we have two members of our family that share President Reagan’s birthday and they do feel special about it.

Missy, my grandmother also shares Feb 6th with President Reagan as a birthday; she’s 95 years old today. The family will be having a big birthday party for her this Sunday!

@Paul Couturier – OIF Veteran:

Wishes for a very happy birthday for your grandmother! Wow, 95 years young and her loved ones will be there to celebrate with her, that’s wonderful.

I can’t be with my daughter because of distance, and our phone call was nice but nothing like being able to give her a hug. Go heavy on the hugging, it’s better than flowers and candy.

Hey Mike, was googling to see what the net had to offer today in honor of President Reagan’s birthday today. Look what I found on the first page! Your post from last year!

Also found plans afloat for next year to celebrate the centennial:
