Scary Carternomics From Obama & Rove Analyzes A Few Of Obama’s Problems

Loading

Obama likes to call McCain George Bush’s 3rd term. This new ad from the RNC makes the case that Obama is Jimmy Carter’s 2nd term….which one is scarier? Analyzes

Jimmah wins that contest by a looooooong way:

While our economy is in a downturn, we are NOT in a recession, nor is inflation skyrocketing like under Carter. Unemployment isn’t skyrocketing, as it did under Carter. But Obama wants a return to Carter era economics.

That should scare the hell out of ya.

Not really on the same subject but this interview with Karl Rove last night on Fox was an excellent analysis of Barack getting his ass handed to him in West Virginia and then ducking and running from the State without nary a peep AND how badly he did with white voters:

he is not prepared to be president. he is to young and doesn’t have an original thought in his head. it sort of makes you wonder what the dems are thinkning, hillary is to hated by most and obama is to inexperienced and controversial for most.

Were but the “Carter analogies” only limited to economics, Curt.

It’s hard to know what to “fear” first …. Obama’s hopelessly deluded economic leadership, or his endangering foreign policy leadership. Both do, however, share the common Carter’esque delusions.

Barry Rubin had a great column today in Israel Insider which I included in my blog dissertation/rants today. He takes Obama’s May 10th Lebanon speech comments seriously to task (as well as gullible Americans and the western press…).

Most notable quote had to do with terrorist organizations’ support for Obama… i.e. FARC and Hamas in the recent public “endorsements”. Or as Rubin put it:

If the dictators and terrorists are smiling, it means everyone else is crying.

Given BHO’s purported economic “cures”… i.e. windfall taxes on oil companies instead of energy independence, etal… which is worse for US prosperity? Deficient economic policies? Or ally alienating/life threatening foreign policies?

Both will lead to an severely diminished America and our way of life.

And where the US economy goes, so goes the world. Where else will they find such devoted, mindless group of shopping addicts to support the global economy?

When has taxation led to prosperity? When has appeasement led to peace? When has a larger government done better? Barry O’Carter is not the answer. Less taxes, less government spending, more personal responsibility and less governmental dependence. The democrats want to tax you more so you’re more dependent on them because you can’t afford to do what you need to do with YOUR money. The revolution was started because of a 1cent increase in taxes. We need a taxpayer revolution.
